Used to synchronize some songs!

When I sync all my music on my iPhone and it shows that all my music is synchronized, yet some of the songs do not show... for example, any song of Sting will not be displayed on my phone even though it is synchronized on my iPhone when I check through the computer! I can only find the song if I search by name, but it will not appear on the section artist, album or song so if im surfing for what I want to hear, I'm not going to find it. I even tried with my old iPod classic and get the same problem!

And Yes, any music that is not displayed is bought on iTunes.

Hello faysalals,

I understand that, although it seems to sync, music that you tried to synchronize your iPhone and iPod seems to be synchronization on without all the metadata. While the title of the article in the link below may cause it to appear irrelevant, the detailed steps it contains can help restore your ability to properly synchronize all your music.

If you see error - 5000, - 69 and 13010 13014 when you synchronize the music in iTunes

  • Used to synchronize some titles in the Playlist?

I hope someone can restore my sanity. I recently signed up for music apple and wanted to add a few old songs to a playlist. There are about 30 songs, and then I tried to sync them to my Apple Watch. All titles in the playlist are downloaded on my iPhone. However, there are three songs that do not appear to Sync? More precisely-Sweet Emotion (Aerosmith), Psycho Killer (Talking Heads) and Big Shot (Billy Joel). But since it was in a greatest hits albums, maybe there is a problem... but even after adding them to my list of the original albums (toys in the attic, the 52nd Street and the talking Heads 77). Used to synchronize the SAME SONGS.  Why?  Any ideas?

  • Some songs sync on my Apple Watch

When I tried to sync a playlist to my watch some songs do not synchronize. The app said they all did and all the songs are downloaded on my phone. Help, please.

    Hi there Addi.malady,

Looks like not all music is the synchronization of your watch, but the Watch app reports that all have synchronized without problems. I would start by removing the playlists of your watch:

Delete a playlist of Apple Watch

    1. Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, tap the tab of My Watch.
    2. Tap music > sync music > No.
    3. To remove the playlist, set your Apple Watch on its charger and make sure that he is in charge.

From: listen to music on your Apple Watch

Then exit the application shows on your phone, restart both devices and try this all that again. If the problem persists then I would désapparier watch from the phone:

Cancel the match your iPhone and Apple Watch

Then restart your phone and pair it again:

    Set up your Apple Watch

  • used to synchronize nano

Used to synchronize nano 4 GB.

Cannot add or remove music nano via a computer usb port to nano!

Based on this limited information, it is difficult to guess at the real problem.  Here is some basic info, that can help...

In current iTunes, click the button on the device to access settings of recapitulation of the iPod screen in iTunes.  Here is a screenshot of the upper left corner of my iTunes window, showing an iPod button (circled in red).  Click on this button.

On the settings of the iPod summary screen, it has a sidebar along the left side of the window (below the tiny image and the name of iPod).  In the sidebar, under settings, click on music.  Settings of music from the iPod screen is shown at right.  If you expect that iTunes to automatically sync music when you connect iPod, check mark the box to Sync music.

NOTE: All songs currently on the iPod that are not in iTunes on your computer, library will be lost.

Then, set up this screen to tell how to automatically sync songs to iPod to iTunes.  Click Apply to sync.  Further, iTunes automatically updated iPod (when you connect or click sync , if already connected) with changes to the iTunes music library, based on how you set up this screen.

If you want to manually load (and remove) songs on iPod, back on the settings of the iPod summary screen, checkmark the box for manually manage music and videos].  And apply.

  • Unable to sync some songs of 80 GB, iPod Classic

I used iTunes on a Windows 7 PC with various classic iPod for several years successfully and is currently using a 5th generation 80 GB Classic in my car and a late model 160 GB classic home.  Both are on the latest version of the software; 1.3 & 2.0.5 respectively.  My iTunes library is currently around 12 500 songs / 73 GB, or all the music podcasts, no videos, no movies, no contacts/calendars/other data.

Until recently, I synced everything for the 160 GB and restricted the 80 GB to selected playlists that left about 10 GB of free space.  It worked fine for two iPods for repeated synchronizations and synchronization of 160 GB is still without a problem, but now the 80 GB starts to sync, then freezes the sync and iTunes on some songs.

I did restore repeated the 80 GB in iTunes, reformatted the disk in Windows ("' scanned / no problems" ") and then restored again, but still have the same problem.

I then used manually ' manage songs' to transfer a Playlist of songs slightly less than 4,000, during which the sync and iTunes froze on several individual songs.  After too many hassles and several hours working my way towards the end of the Playlist, I transferred successfully about 3 800 songs on the iPod, which interfaced as usual with my car radio, but 114 songs, which was unable to transfer from iTunes to the iPod and suspended the synchronization process.  Back to try to reload a whole of these 114 songs (mostly .mp3, more a few .mp4a & .mp4p) caused immediate blocking of iTunes.  All of these 114 tracks play without iTunes, sync without problem to the 160GB iPod, problems and play without problem on my home system.

Having played just another Format and restoring, I just deleted all the music that I transferred manually so even once having an 80 GB iPod empty which fails to synchronize as soon as he arrives at the premiere of the "defective" runs 114.

I thought I knew my way around iTunes and iPod, but after fishing trawl of multiple support forums have been unable to work my way through this problem.

What happens if you start with an empty iPod and load it manually just ONE of these songs of 114 problem?

  • Used to synchronize 160 GB...

I connect it, it shows "sync", but a second later iPod says OK to disconnect without having disconnected me. I can't deal with it seriously.

This is normal, if iTunes does not updates to sync with the iPod.  You say expect you changes (e.g. new songs) to automatically sync with iPod, but they do not have?  If so, you should check how music from iPod settings screen is set up in iTunes.  If it is not currently set to sync music, the iPod shows it is "sync" (when connected), but nothing syncs.  To do this, what you have described.

Click on the button of the iPod in iTunes.  The screenshot below shows the left upper corner of the window of my iTunes, with device button circled in red.

Settings of the iPod summary screen.  Along the left side of the window, in the sidebar, under settings, click on music.  Parameters of music from the iPod screen to the right, where you tell iTunes how to sync songs to the iPod.  Check the box to Sync music.

NOTE: If this box is not already checked, and check it out you now, all the songs on the iPod that are not in iTunes on your computer, library will be lost.

This enables automatic synchronization.  Below, if your music library can fit on your iPod, you can choose to synchronize the entire music library.  Otherwise, you can choose to synchronize some lists of reading, artists, albums and genresand make selections from the list below.  Click apply.  Go ahead, iTunes automatically updated iPod when you connect (or click sync , if already connected), based on how you set up this screen.

If this isn't the problem, please post back with more details about your situation.

  • Some songs as matched on my Mac do not appear on my iPhone

As the title says, checking the status of iCloud for my library of music on iTunes on my Macbook, some songs (actually a whole album) are shown as "appropriate", but doesn't appear at all on my iPhone.  Please note that others such as "matched" appear and are available to play on the phone. I missed something obvious?

    Thank you

    Hi littleeden,

I understand that you do not see some of the iTunes Music on your iPhone.  The resources below provides some troubleshooting steps if some of your songs are missing.

    Get help with iTunes game

If you do not see your library of iTunes on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch game

If your iTunes library Match is missing, restart your iOS device.

If you can still see after reboot:

    1. Turn off iCloud music library and then turn on again.
      1. Go to settings > music.
      2. Turn off iCloud music library.
      3. Close the settings.
      4. Go to settings > music.
      5. Turn on iCloud music library.
    2. Sign out of iTunes , and then sign back in.

See if your songs are available for download

In iTunes, turn on the column to download iCloud to see the icons of music library iCloud. An 'Available for download' icon appears next to songs that are available in the music library of iCloud, but have not been saved on your computer and therefore will not be matched.

If some of your songs are missing or the names of the song are grayed out

If the songs you have purchased are missing or the song names appear in gray, they could use the digital rights (DRM) management. You must allow your computer before you can play these songs.

Once you allow it, choose file > library > update iCloud music library on the bar menu at the top of your computer screen.

    Take care

  • some songs are stuttering on my iPod

a few songs on my played classic when stuttering, this just started. I thought it was a problem of connection but then noticed that is not all music.

If it's only a few songs and always the same songs, you should probably do a restore of the iPod using iTunes.  This erases the iPod, reinstall its software and sets it to the default settings.

Use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod settings - Apple Support

It is erasing and then re - synchronize your songs after this restoration, which should get rid of the corruption of data or fragmentation of extreme data on the hard disk of the iPod.

  • I click and drag the music from my library to a new playlist and some songs are dark and will not play on my device.  Why?

I click and drag the music a new reading list, but some songs are not highlighted in the play list and will not play on my device.  Why?

    Try two things...

    (1) the songs greyed out can be unchecked. Uncheck the songs are normally excluded from track to track synchronization and normal. With the help of the songs or the list view Ctrl + click on an empty box to check all the boxes in the list of active reading.

    (2) try to go to file > library > Update music library to iCloud and do the update.

  • Some songs are not uploaded to the iPhone, even if they are in my ipad

    Hello!

Some songs downloaded on my iPhone are grayed out and cannot be read, even if they are perfectly fine in my iPad.

Do you have an explanation for that?

    Thank you!

He suggested that the files have not been correctly transferred to the device.

The following steps should resolve things assuming that all of the content you want in your library.

(If it is not see recover your iTunes from your iPod or an iOS device).

    1. Backup device.
    2. Restoration as a new device.
    3. Restore the backup that you made earlier.

NB. A feature introduced with iOS 9 called thinning or slicing app app allows each device to download just the code and resources required by this device, resulting in smaller downloads and a better use of the storage on the device. Therefore the device is no longer the universal version of the application that can be installed on any device to transfer applications is no longer supported. You can however download past purchases to iTunes and/or to activate Automatic app downloads buy to make sure iTunes has always the apps you want on your device. Another change to the way the restorations are implemented means that all private data app is restored and apps that are not in the library are waiting for download on the iTunes Store on Wi - Fi, in a similar way to the restoration of the iCloud way works. Not having apps in your library is not the disadvantage that it once was, but you're still at risk of losing a favored app if it is removed from the Bank and you don't have a local copy.

  • Try to remove duplicates, "show exact duplicates" check all instances of some songs

I'm trying to remove the duplicates in my iTunes (in thousands) library. I view "replica", but for some songs, it checks all instances of the same song, so I can't delete checked without losing these songs in total. Is there a way to fix this, or what I have to go through the entire library of the song?

Using the latest version of iTunes on a windows PC.  I read the instructions for the removal of duplicates, but my situation is not covered.

    Thank you

If an entry in a list of audit checks another which makes me suspect that you watch a playlist in which the same elements have been added more than once, rather than the main list of music. The boxes are global in iTunes. One of the phases in my deduper script mentioned below clearly these duplicates of playlist, however, in its current form you need to run it on every playlist where you have this problem if only would you fix this type of problem. For the cleaning of the library to start with the source music in the view of songs and use exact replica. The current version requires counties to disk and the number of titles to match who I'm not sure was always necessary. If you don't see any duplicates that you would expect that maybe why.

Official notice of Apple on the duplicates is here: find and remove duplicates in your iTunes library. This is a manual process and article fails to explain some of the potential pitfalls such as the lost coast and membership of playlist, or sometimes the same file can be represented by multiple entries in the library as well as a removal and recycling the file will break all the others.

Use MAJ > view > show items to reproduce exactly to display the duplicates because it is normally a selection more useful. You must manually select all but one of each group to remove. Sort the list by Date added can make easier select appropriate tracks, but it works better when executed immediately after the dupes were created.  If you have several entries in iTunes connected to a same file on the disk hard then don't not send to trash.

Use my DeDuper script (Windows only) If you are not sure, do not want to do it by hand, or want to maintain ratings, play counts and playlist membership. See this background thread , this post for detailed instructions and Please take note of the warning to back up your library before deduping.

(If you don't see the menu bar press ALT to temporarily view or CTRL + B to keep displayed.)

The latest version of the script can put away the dead links as long as there is at least a double live to merge his stats and membership of the playlist and must deal wisely when the same file has been added through multiple paths.

You can upgrade to 4.7 WITHOUT Media Manager.  Some people have problems with the MM.  It's also a great Setup and it is easier to use the drag-and - drop in windows Explorer with the lit on your BB mass storage mode.

Personally, I use DTM 4.6 without MM and have no problem.
