user tracking

Hello
I want to follow users who will connect to the dashboard according to its connection date and time.
is there a clever way to do this? Thank you

ORA-01745 and ORA-00984 are errors of db oracle. Variable user suppose to be in ' '.

    Hi all

I use LMS 4.2 I activated the user tracking and I get the ip address, MAC address, host name in the table of user tracking. But enter username in the user tracking is not be filled. I even enabled get the username by guests in the areas of host NTS and ND in the acquisition of user tracking settings.

Is there something else I have to configure in LMS in order to get the names of users in tracking user table?

    any comments will be appreciated,

    Thanks in advance,

    Rgds,

You must utility utility that integrates with LMS with AD to feed it with user names. Utility is a utility that allows to collect the usernames of PDCs Active Directory and Novell servers.

To do this, you need to install utility in main domain controllers Windows and Novell servers. You can also install utility in an Active Directory server.

What could be the reason for this behavior?

Instead of setting DYNAMIC_PORT_ALLOCATION = 0, replace perms on both ctm_config.txt 0444 files, use the original port and see if UT works.  If so, run in this configuration for some time see if corruption returns.  It should not since casuser won't be able to write to the file.

  • Live Session of user tracking

This seems to be a newbie question but I've searched and have not found the answer. The majority of my stocks float non-persistent office pools. I have a pool with 4 machines inside assigned to specific users. If a dedicated users is connected to a session on their zero client then goes to different zero client and signs, their initial meeting at their second location moves, leaving all their open apps. But if a user who is assigned to a desktop computer in the non-persistent pool is connected a place then sign to a different place, their first session session them immediately and logs location second in a new office of the pool. Is it possible to have floating users works like the first scenario? We have some users who work in different offices throughout the day and it would be useful that their session running could just transfer to another physical location.

Yes, after the screenshot you have 'Automatic logoff after disconnect' the value 'immediately '.

Try to define who, at a reasonable time, as 15 min for the user to be able to connect another client and maintain the session.

  • Use of user track in buckets of 48 hours for each month

I have an obligation to follow the use by the user in buckets of 48 hours for each month. For example, from midnight on 1st Oct, create buckets of 48 hours thanks to 23:59 on 31 Oct. For each user, how many times they use the system in each bucket 48 hours? I try to avoid PL/SQL, if I can so right SQL is preferred. Thank you very much in advance for your help.

    Hello

Sorry, my mistake. It was not nearly as simple as I said earlier. JOIN EXTERNAL means that all ranks of the cntr will appear in the result set at least once, but we need every line of cntr appear joining each month and user_name at least once, we can do with a partitioned outer join:

    WITH cntr AS
    (
         SELECT 2 * (LEVEL - 1) AS low_val
         , 2 * LEVEL AS high_val
         FROM dual
-- CONNECT BY LEVEL <= 16 -- Max buckets in any month
CONNECT BY LEVEL <= 4 -- For testing only
    )
    , got_month_start AS
    (
         SELECT user_name
         , create_datetime
         , TRUNC (create_datetime, 'MONTH') AS month_start
         FROM t_usage
    )
    SELECT u.user_name
    , u.month_start + c.low_val AS bucket_start_date
    , u.month_start + c.low_val
                   + 2
                   - (1 / (24 * 60 * 60))
                             AS bucket_end_date
    , COUNT (u.create_datetime) AS number_of_system_uses
    FROM cntr c
    LEFT OUTER JOIN got_month_start u PARTITION BY ( u.user_name
                                    , u.month_start
                                    )
                             ON ( u.create_datetime
                                 - u.month_start
                                 ) BETWEEN c.low_val
                                  AND c.high_val
    GROUP BY u.user_name
    , u.month_start
    , c.low_val
    ORDER BY u.user_name
    , bucket_start_date
    ;

As you can see, I also moved the calculation of TRUNC (create_datetime, 'MONTH') in a subquery.
I only showed the frist 4 buckets, just to simplify somewhat the exit during the original trial. The result is:

    ` NUMBER

  • Display of the process in the list of specific user tracking

    Hello

I have a process in which there are several operations to assign tasks to users to complete forms.

I want a specific user in my domain name in order to examine each instance of the process that is launched, but I didn't understand how to achieve without affecting the task to him. I played with task list of access control and properties of delegation and Consultation, adding a specific user or group settings, but always impossible to view the process in its watch list.

  • Start the LMS 4.2.3 SNMPv3 + tracking users

The user tracking is able to operate without SNMPv2?  Recently, I've implemented SNMPv3 on a couple of Cisco 3750 for test the LMS functionality.  Given that I removed these switches SNMPv2, I no longer get the IP and MAC address information in user tracking reports.  CiscoView, however, works very well using only to SNMPv3.  Only some components LMS SNMPv3 are capable?

For the host of the end and other details, you need to configure SNMP v3 context. All other applications also support SNMP v3 on cisco devices supported.

My next disussion has the same problem, please check so useful:

  • user source expdp

    Hi all

How can I determine the user source in a dump file generated with expdp?
(The info not gave using proc GET_DUMPFILE_INFO)

    Thank you very much...

The only way I know how to do this would be to do the following.

from your script, you must add another impdp command

    Directory of sqlfile = my_sql.sql for = Impdp system/password...
Then you can replace your order of strings with:

    grep "\-\-CONNECT" my_sql.sql | grep - v SYSTEM. AWK '{print $3} ' | Head - 1

The v - SYSTEM is the user tracks the impdp command with sqlfile. If you change this, you must change this. You can be able to reduce the sqlfile work if you know what are the types of objects in the dumpfile, but if you don't then running complete work needs to be done.

    I hope this helps.

  • Non-existing connections in Cisco first LMS 4.2.4

    Hello

We had strange connections in LMS 4.2.4 and earlier versions, even back at LMS 3.2.1. Even if I delete connections, they reappear as if the connection were present.

Sometimes, it is related to a change of interface of 1 G to 10G and in some cases, any other device... .but not always.

It hurts my eyes, I look at this, so I hope that some of you know the reason, or better yet, the solution.

    Thanks in advance ;-)

Seems to be corrupted the database for ANI.   what I would say is to reset the database to ANI.

Note: ANI database contains no historical data, reintilalizing so there won't be a problem.

    the steps are:

    1. stop the daemon manager

    2.

  • Error: UserManager.setCustomUserField: no sufficient privileges to set a custom field for Publisher

    Hello

I'm only able to call UserManager.setCustomUserField with the owner, but not with the Editor (50).

How can I make a custom userfield editable with a user of the editor?

Strange thing is that if I'm in the room Console and change my role of owner in the editor, I can add a custom user field.

    Any tips?

PS: Meanwhile, I found this post where it is explained how to implement a custom user Tracker:

    http://forums.Adobe.com/thread/840181?decorator=print & displayFullThread = true

It would be nice but if I could value give permission a customfield for the role of the Editor directly on usermanager

    Hello

If a user with the role editor, trying to setCustomUserField to itself, then it should be possible. (you try to do this?)

But if he tries to put it other then its not so easy. Is the only option possible, you will have to extend the current UserManager and override the setCustomUserField method.

    Thank you

  • OBIEE - audit report

    Hello

Is it possible to know which users are running more often.

    Thank you

If you have access to the server, look in the nqsconfig.ini file

Attribute search (Control F) USAGE_TRACKING and look for ENABLED = true or false.

Another way to do it is looking in the database where OBIEE is hanging and see if you can find s_nq_acct table. There are like 3 or 4 tables comes together when the user tracking is enabled.

    I hope this helps.

  • Best method to track usage of the file by the user?

    Hello world

I currently need to look at a method for monitoring of the activities of the file in my organization and I need a little help to get started on the right track. I had some references point me to app Xcode Instrument via the business model of the file, but I currently have issues seeing any activity from users of the real network. to start, I simply set the target to "All processes" with the hope that it would bring together all activities and newspaper, in which he did for everything except users on the network. On mine, I also found some people who use scripts to dtrace or opensnoop, but I was hoping someone could point to what they think, it's the "best" method to track when a file/folder is accessed and/or modified.

Also, as a note, we are in a mixed environment and so we only via SMB as our file sharing protocol in the case where it makes a difference. I know that in newspapers of the server application, it does clearly as AFP titles widely as I can only find small amounts of data for SMB in the newspapers (disconnects / reconnects, permissions, etc.). If I need to flesh out the details as well, this isn't a problem, and thank you to you all in advance.

As with everything, there are a number of ways to accomplish.  Manager of the 'better' is one that works in your environment and that you feel comfortable.

You can watch the common criteria framework that is built into OS X.  Try checking the man and man audit_control to get an idea of what is possible.  If you enable the service, you will record only login, logout, and authentication.  However, adding to the indicators you can save the file reads, writes, creates and deletes (most other things).  Are you trying to follow everything on local machines or just the server?

Now, if you do this, you'll generate a lot of logging data.  The most logical way to handle this is to aggregate the log data into a centralized syslog server.  But it of more infrastructure and will pose challenges if you breadwinner and because portable computers that let the environment.

  • How to track users and permits

Suppose an organization has license for 100 users in Oracle R12 HRMS then how oracle keep track of that not more than 100 users are using HRMS, also how a dba keeps track of the same?

Oracle hopes that you will only allow products/modules that you have purchased a license and don't follow these details in the application/database.

    Please see license use audit

To contact always your account manager Oracle licensing issues, it is best to answer these questions.

    Thank you
