Users, and connection statistics

Hello
We will analyse the activities of peoplesoft users and connection statistics by querying the PSPRCSRQST table. I wonder if applications or utilities of statistics are not already made (by peoplesoft or other). If yes where can I find them?
Thank you very much.

You can find the definition of queries in the query tool.
For this, open AppDesigner, then menu GB/query and search queries starting with PT_SEC_USER. Open the one you want and see the query definition.

  • connection of users and configuration of MAX

    I searched the site for 3 days and finally found a post titled; "IAK login user and configuration MAX" on 04/21/2009 who has asked pretty much the same problem, I'm going to. I wonder if there is something new on this subject because I need a solution.

    I installed an application and the NI FP driver suite see 6.0.11. I run NI MAX and open my. File IAK, which is located in the folder/common directory as well as the executable file of my application. At the beginning I used to hit the 'Save' selection but have found since that it makes no difference, so now, I'm not hitting 'Save', but just close MAX. This process is to record the location of my. IAK file somewhere, because after that my application runs and communicates very well with my e/s.

    The problem comes when I have the new station operators connect to the computer that controls the operation of my test. the application that auto starts because it is in the startup folder "All Users" cannot communicate with inputs and outputs.

    MAXIMUM running and opening the. IAK file under each new user login then immediately closing MAX solves the problem and all is well, and this process must occur the first time that a new user connects to the computer. The post mentioned above indicates that it is a normal behavior.

    The problem is that some of my operators do well to find the power button and turn on all the morning. The application is no "Exit", "Task Manager" should be used to stop it. Login information is stored on a post-it in their portfolio, and ask them to open MAX and save the configuration is just too much for them to do - be unfamiliar with the operation at first.

    Can someone explain to me how to fix this or refer me to a validated solution?

    Thank you

    OK - here it is:

    It works for me under Windows 7 with FP1000 e/s on a serial Comm. port other configurations may or may be not the same in these respects.

    While logged in as a privileged user configure you application to work and communicate with the e/s using an IAK file. Create the IAK via NI MAX.

    Is the key to register of interest here: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\National Instruments\FieldPoint Explorer\Recent File List]

    The string value is: "File1"="C:\ApplicationPath\IOConfigurationFile.IAK."

    Start the REGEDT32 Registry Editor. EXE and navigate to the key just below SOFTWARE that tells of National Instruments.

    Select the key, and then right-click on it. Select EXPORT, select a path and name of the output file.

    There will be many other entries, but this recent file one is the only one that may be necessary.

    You will end up with one. REG file with the specified name that contains the following elements:

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\National tools]

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\National Instruments\FieldPoint Explorer]

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\National Instruments\FieldPoint Explorer\Recent File List]
    'File1"="C:\\ApplicationPath\\IOConfigurationFile.iak '.

    Create a BAT file under the name of your choice. Configure.BAT for example.

    This BAT file will reside in the directory of your application with your Important file and it will contain 1 line.

    This:

    REG IMPORT "C:\ApplicationPath\ConfigurationRegistryExportFile.REG" > rejconfig.log

    Place a shortcut to it. BAT file in the 'All Users' Start menu.

    Any user who connects will receive this update of the registry which will allow the driver to IO to know how to communicate with your IO.

    Replace your appropriate to the ApplicationPath, IOConfigurationFile, ConfigurationRegistryExportFile, rejconfig.log file names. The log file will be written only for in the case of an error.

    Good luck

  • users and internet accounts. -Account that a single user can connect to the Internet at the same time

    When I am connected to the computer, and I 'switch user' other user accounts, cannot connect to the internet, unless I have complelty "log off." How can I fix? I should be able to stay connected with the windows open, so I can continue when I get back.

    I should be able to stay connected with the windows open, so I can continue when I get back.

    It depends on your network, there'S no connection.  For example, it could certainly happen to a user who was logged only under that user.   However, in this case instead of completely disconnected the first account you could probably have the first account log out and hang up the connection.  Then the second account probably could dial and connect.  FWIW, I think a DSL PPPoE user might see similar symptoms.

    Hi Stevielee,

    1 you get an error message when trying to go online?
    2. what web browser do you use to go online?

    You are able to go online to a different user account. There must be a problem with the settings of the web browser. Try these steps and check the result.

    Step 1: Reset the Internet Explorer settings.
    1. Click Start, type inetcpl.cpl and press to enter.
    2. click on the tab advanced and then click Reset.
    3. click on reset.
    4. When you are finished, click Close, and then click OK.
    5. close Internet Explorer and reopen it before the changes take effect.
    6. check internet connectivity.

    NOTE: Reset the Internet Explorer settings can reset security settings or privacy settings that you have added to the list of Trusted Sites. Reset the Internet Explorer settings can also reset parental control settings. We recommend that you note these sites before you use the reset Internet Explorer settings.

  • Client AnyConnect and connections without client hang for two users

    ASA 5525, v.19 9.1 (5)

    AnyConnect client 3.1.02026

    I have two users who are unable to connect through the AC client or no client via the web portal. The use of the client, it will get stuck in a loop of "check updates". On the portal, the connection will proceed to point "Cisco Secure Desktop validated successfully... Success... Reloading... Please wait. "Then it crashes here.

    This problem occurs for the user, no matter which company laptop it connects to. A help desk technician can use his laptop computer and connect properly, but she could not connect on his own laptop computer or on another laptop. (Same for the other user.) So the question does not appear to be linked to his laptop or the installation of the CA. (Helpdesk reimage her machine early in the process of solving problems before they realized that the question seems to follow the user.)

    I've updated the hostscan - no change in the results file.  Client and clientless connections seem to work for all users. We are puzzled.  Suggestions, anyone?  Thank you!

    The LDAP protocol must be people - Active Directory server.  Chances are the one who manages the SAA should have access at least to look at Active Directory to look that up.  If they are not they need.

    Of course, I don't know a lot about what you use the devices, but if you use ISE, there should be a type of device MNT (monitoring and troubleshooting) - collecting newspapers and, hopefully, they are sent to a certain type of overall collection of syslog (splunk?) tool.

    Otherwise, there should be a device called a CAM (Clean Access Manager) who collects newspapers - which can also be spread to a global tool for syslog - but with cam, you can pull reports from the output in a file delimited by commas (.csv) and pass through them that way.

    -The thing that annoys me, is he gets to two users any computer, they try to connect to any network to which they connect, and other users can authenticate and access network on these same devices.

    -That is why it is rather confused.  Pretty much saying, there must be something with:

    -the pool of intellectual property that they get an IP of

    -their powers AD

    -user name

    -something in this sense, if the information provided is accurate.

    The description of the problem seems a little unclear and I wish I had a better understanding before you start working on it. I would really appreciate if you could answer the following questions:

    1. how you try to connect with two computers?

    2. What is the error message that is accurate or complete?

    3. do not connect you to your Windows 7 laptop as administrator?

    4. have you made any recent hardware or exchange of software on your computer before the show?

  • Vault to Oracle set up rules to restrict the user and the type of application that can connect

    Oracle 11 g 2 (11.2.0.4.3)

    RHEL 6

    Hi all

    We are experiencing a few problems to configure the following condition:

    Users A, B, and C will not be able to connect via SQLPLUS.

    So I took note of the political examples on how to Set Up database Vault (Doc ID 972477.1() -section restrict access to the database (sqlplus) unwanted tools:

    However, it doesn't evaluate the rule in the rule set correctly. The rule set is as follows:

    DVF. F$ MODULE! = ' SQL * MORE AND DVF. F$ SESSION_USER NOT IN ("USERA", "USERB", "USERC")

    This rule allows all users to connect except those defined in the rule. And it applies also to the developer SQL (and all other connections). If I change to be 'IN' he also allows users in the list, but no one else. In addition, somewhere I think it evaluates it as "OR" rather than "AND". What I want to do is:

    IF user IN ("USERA", "USERB", "USERC") AND SYS_CONTEXT ('USERENV', 'MODULE') = ' SQL * MORE

    SO, do not allow the user to connect.

    Note: The factor (MODULE) has been created by me and her expression is SYS_CONTEXT('USERENV','MODULE')

    Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

    I tested these rules and they work:

    (1) ((upper (sys_context ('userenv', 'module')) like '%%') and (not in sys_context ('userenv', 'session_user') ('A', 'B'))) or ((upper (sys_context ('userenv', 'module')) like ' % %') and DEVELOPER (not in sys_context ('userenv', 'session_user') ('A', 'B'))))

    (2) ((upper (sys_context ('userenv', 'module')) not like ' %PLUS%')) or ((upper (sys_context ('userenv', 'module')) not like ' % DEVELOPER %'))))))

    I'm blocking users A and B to connect from SQL * more and SQL Developer

    Thanks for the help in advance.

    Let's not your syntax.

    When you say 'identified by values' you tell Oracle 'this is not the password, but it is a salted and hashed password.

    Do not use 'values '.

    Technically,-is not a password valid, so I'll use it valid to demonstrate:

    In 12.1.0.2, it will not allow you to use '-' because this isn't a valid hash value, so I can't prove that it works, but you get the idea

  • Help users understanding and connection steps

    Hello

    I'm starting to develop c# applications using sdk for .net vcloud. In my first application "hello world", I'm just trying to log on to my vCloud (vCD).

    192.168.1.10 - IP address of the vCD

    Administrator - user local administrator of my vcloud

    MyOrg - one of the organizations in my vCloud

    User1 - one of the users the in 'MyOrg ".

    Public addresses in my cloud-

    Public URL VCD -https://192.168.1.10/cloud

    Address proxy VCD public console - 192.168.1.10

    VCD public REST API base URL - https://192.168.1.10/

    Case 1-

    Intent is to connect to vCD as an administrator and navigate provider TDC, organizations, users, etc. Following the code fails.

    vCloudClient vc = new vCloudClient ("https://192.168.1.10", com.vmware.vcloud.sdk.constants.Version.V5_5);

    VC. Login ("Administrator", "password");

    It does not work with the exception message - "the given header was not found."

    Case 2-

    Try to log in as a user in the organization.

    vCloudClient vc = new vCloudClient ("https://192.168.1.10", com.vmware.vcloud.sdk.constants.Version.V5_5);

    VC. Login ("user1@myorg", "password");

    Logon succeeds. I think that the user is connected inside the body and can run additional API to work with the organization.

    Case 3-

    GET http://192.168.1.10/api/versions

    returns the URL of a connection- https://192.168.1.10/API/sessions

    I tried this URL in the constructor of vCloudClient. Then for any user, connection method fails with the exception message - "the disabled request accept header. "The API versions supported are: [1.5, 5.1, 5.5]"

    I am confused here. I do not understand how to use connection is returned by GET URLS http://192.168.1.10/api/versions. I would like to understand why cases 1 and 2 fail. I use bad classes or URL or the administrator user is also part of an organization?

    It would be awesome if someone points me to the references (for class relationships, operations, workflow) that will help prepare us more quickly with the .NET development kit. It seems pretty good documentation on vCloud REST API. However, the documentation in the SDK downloaded .net is not detailed.

    Thank you

    Vivek.

    Hello

    Case 1:

    If you are a system administrator the org for the system admin is 'system '. If the user name for you system admin is administrator@System.

    vCloudClient vc = new vCloudClient ("https://192.168.1.10", com.vmware.vcloud.sdk.constants.Version.V5_5);

    VC. Login ("administrator@System", "password");

    It should work

    Case 3:

    Specification of the version in the constructor of vCloudClient will be responsible for picking up the appropriate connection URL. Worry not picking up the url of the API versions connection.

    vCloudClient vc = new vCloudClient ("https://192.168.1.10", com.vmware.vcloud.sdk.constants.Version.V5_5);

    You don't mention any problems with case 2. You said it works fine.

    The .net SDK contains a sample project, which covers a lot of the API. These samples should give you a good understanding on how to consume the REST API using the .net SDK.

    Kind regards

    Rajesh Kamal.
