  For long notes, you are better to use regular old dictation - under Mac OS for a few years now, Siri is not mandatory.

  To activate it, go to "System Preferences"-> keyboard-> dictation. Once enabled, you can press the "Fn" key twice to activate and dictate the long notes in any application.

  Siri is optimized for short, quick things. I don't think that you can change, you just use the method that is better to listen to what you want to do at the time (short notes, using Siri. Long notes, use dictation).

  From what I understand, your iPhone works very well except with Siri in 3G or 4G cellular connections. While on these connections, everything else works but Siri. You have erased the iPhone and restore a back up with no results.

  The resources below provide some specific troubleshooting steps for issues with Safari.  I know that you have already tried some of them, but try these steps once more in the order presented.

  Try this it seems to work for me. Goto the menu bar and click on the microphone dictation goto command Preferences and then uncheck the box and stop Dictation. I had to fiddle around a bit to make sure advanced was unchecked and closed off the coast, then I liquidated, to reopen and double-check everything. Once I was the decline of the dictation in low reloaded. I hope this works for you also.

  On your Apple Watch, after tapping on answer, press firmly on the screen, and then tap on choose language to a different language for your reply (including the dictation).

  The default language for any given conversation is on the same language as the active keyboard on your iPhone (in Messages) for this particular conversation. When you change the language of the keyboard for this conversation on your iPhone, it also changes on your Apple Watch.

  • Open the conversation with this contact on your watch and press on answer.

  • This will open this conversation in Messages on your iPhone.

• How to trigger the dictation from the smart keyboard on the iPad pro.

  I use dictated on my iPhone and my iPad quite often.

  However on my new iPad Pro with the smart keyboard attached, I do not how to trigger the dictation from the keyboard.

  I don't see how to get the soft keyboard back to press the button of the microphone are there, such space suggested by some on this forum.

  This doesn't seem to work in the latest iOS Update 9.

  I would be fine with a hotkey, or have to invoke the keyboard of the shop, then press the button of the microphone, but I don't see how do either.

  When the Emoji button on the keyboard smart strike as the keyboard, the software keyboard emoji is displayed, the space but when I press the soft ABC capital but I cannot get to the regular keyboard with the microphone button.

  Hi all

  After the upgrade to TVOS 10, my
  Siri remote started trolling like crazy (trackpad only). Water from the tap + 10 dry in
  YouTube stopped work and even with Netflix. The trackpad has become
  almost insensitive. I tried the solution of twinning/pair several times but has no
  work. Then I installed the new remote Siri iOS app on my iPhone 6
  and what, no more lag or nonresponse guest. So, I started to go
  through the settings of the ATV and remembered that on post TVOS 10 upgrade reboot,.
  I had activated "Dictated" as I was going through settings. Great feature but
  just after this, all my Siri remote control problems disappeared. I then
  reactivated and I confirm the behavior. Dictation and Siri
  Remote trackpad do not go well together. Is it a new issue with TVOS
  10? I don't know that I've ever used on 9 TVOS dictation. Thought I'd share my

  Hello. You've restarted Apple TV since the update? I have used dictation for awhile now, and the remote trackpad works fine. I updated the sensitivity slow because it was difficult for me to control to the default value.
