Using Windows DVD creation.
all of my pictures and my music are downloaded and I hit burn it, it starts to burn. It comes in at 0.9% encoding and then appears with a message indicating "unable to create the cd, that an error has occurred when burning the dvd." Windows DVD Maker, he also says that it cannot create the preview, so I don't know if this has something to do with it does not burn or not.
Windows do not support the following formats:
- Video files: ".asf", ".avi", ".dvr-ms", ".m1v", ".mp2", ".mp2v", ".mpe", ".mpeg", ".mpg", ".mpv2", '.wm' and '.wmv '.
- Audio files: ".aif", ".aifc", ".aiff", ".asf", ".au", ".mp2", ".mp3", ".mpa", ".snd", ".wav" and ".wma".
- Picture files: ".bmp", "DIBs", '.emf', '.gif', ".jfif", ".jpe", ".jpeg", ".jpg", ".png", ".tif", ".tiff" and '.wmf '.
Are your photos and music among those listed above?
If not, then you will have to do the following...
For photos: save again to one of the above supported fromats. Recommend using jpg which requires less file size.
For music: google for an audio converter and convert your music to MP3, Wma or Wav files. The MP3 format is more preferable.
File formats are represented by the last 3 letters of each file.

I am compiling my football teams game film. I created a dvd using Windows DVD Maker. Each game is a single video file to AVI format. When I preview the video, no problem. After having carved, (2 trials) when I watch the DVD, the menu screens look good, the video of the first part looks fine, but from second game, or of the stage, the video quality changes. The video becomes almost black and white. The shadows and the highlights of the video seem to be exaggerated and that they are pink color. It seems to be an effect of video editing, but I did no changes to the video features. Help.

The MTS files & Windows DVD creation (Windows 7 x 64)
Question: Windows DVD Maker does not recognize the MTS format.
Camera: Panasonic DMC - TZ7
File format: MTS (AVCHD Lite HD)
OS: Windows 7 x 64There are a few comments on the similar topic. I would like to know if there is some way I can get the creation of DVD to read MTS files without converting it to other formats.
If I convert it, is it a tool of MS that I can use without buying a third-party tool 3. MTS format has been around for a while and I'm surprised that the creation of DVD in Windows 7 does not support.

No problem with ULEAD DVD Movie Factory
Hi Barry Robbo.
1 when was the last time you were able to play a DVD burned successfully?
2. did you of recent changes on the computer?
3. What is the file format of the burned photos?
4. which Windows Player do you use to play the burned photos?
A DVD may not play properly in some DVD players or DVD - ROM readers to one of the following reasons:
- The type of drive may not be compatible. Some DVD players or DVD - ROM drives can play some types of DVD. For example, some DVD players only play discs DVD + R or DVD + RW, while others play only DVD-R or DVD - RW discs.
- The quality of the disc may be too low. Some DVD players or DVD - ROM drives will not play DVD if the disc is not in good condition or if it isn't a high quality disc. If your Player cannot play a DVD, you can try to burn again using a higher quality DVD.
- DVD decoding software can not be installed on the computer. If you try to play the DVD in the DVD drive on another computer, the DVD will not play if DVD decoding software is not installed on this computer.
To determine what types of DVDs your DVD player or DVD - ROM drive can play, see the documentation that came with your device or go to the manufacturer's Web site.
