  • Cannot access USSD Codes 2 G mode!

    Hello world!

    I am using a USSD code to get into the technical side of the phone, so that I can switch to 2 G to save battery power.

    My phone will not let me get off 3 G, there is no option in the settings.

    When I try to use the code * #* #4636 #* #* it does not work! Is - it works on anyones phone,.

    or does anyone know another way to switch networks?

    Try to install Anycut or Anycut2 and create a shortcut to activity "test." AnyCut force closes on Android 2.1 for me, so you can try Anycut2, but read this for a tutorial on how to create shortcuts. That will get you much of the information that you want. There are many activities that are buried in the phone, you can access this way.

    Cannot use the USSD codes after updated to 5.1.1 rom Algeria

    We found the cause of this problem and it will be fixed in a future software update. The version of the software that fixes it will be 23.4.A.1.21X, and we hope to start deployment about a month from now.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones USSD code does not work on my BB 9650

    Hi all! All codes USSD (* # 566, * 123 # etc) does not work on my BB 9650. How to solve this problem? I use the grameenphone GSM network in Bangladesh.
    Anyone facing this problem?
    Please answer this... BB admins

    Well, I fixed it! This problem occurs mainly when I turn on data services. Otherwise, it works fine, after that I change the SIM card with another.
    As soon as I turn the "Data Services" on WE, USSD codes do not respond. A call is made by the BB device rather than request a response from the network.
    I don't know WHY. Better not ask you sort

    EDITED POST - DELETED DATA

    I'm sorry, but you can't post it here. For many of these codes can brick a phone - most of this is not intended for most users.

  • Reminder does not

    I had a planetsim, one of these providers with numbers Estonian/uk for travellers.
    I'm making a phone call, I receive a ussd "waiting call" and then my device is supposed to sound but it doesn't.
    Incoming calls do not work either, the other party hears it ringing but my device is not.
    My provider told me to enter the setting menu with a code they gave me and define the X CC OPTION: WE
    As it did not work either, they suggest that I have change device. So I report the bug here.
    I don't know if it's the https://github.com/twbs/ratchet/issues/556

    The operating system is 1.3
    The provider is planetsim.gr
    The phone seems to work now, after deactivate/reactivate call forwarding (although this should not be linked).

  • Problem with features such as * 101 #.

    When Poland and using the prepaid GSM SIM card with a game called operator tried to use codes that show me the remaining minutes etc. None of these codes worked because they seem to be captured by the phone. Examples:

    * 101 # (call) should display the available minutes

    * 121 # (call) my phone number, etc.

    How to solve this problem?

    Thanks in advance!

    Perhaps with the upgrade to ICS, there might be additional USSD codes, but now only some USSDs can operate.

    I have a 3g data plan and I would like to know how much data is always on offer, now on a phone ordinary I just type * # 140. But with this tablet, there is no transmitter and even with applications downloaded from the google game, he always says
    "voice calls are not available."
    I apreciate any information

    Thank you.

    Hi both,.

    May I suggest to use the Mobile Data tracker in the Android OS itself to see how much data you have used? From there and then calculate backwards to see how you end up with data.

  • How to know the version of WRVS4400N

    How will I know if I have a V1 or V2.  I bought what was advertised as a WRVS4400N V2, but the firmware shows that V1.  Given that the firmware was a V1 I only applied the update of the firmware V1.1.13.  Can I use the update of the firmware V2 on this model.   After installing the firmware V1.1.13 and change the password, I wonder to enter credentials whenever I click on something and a lot of times, it can ask 10 or 15 times before displaying.

    The firmware version and the hardware version usually have nothing to do with the other. The firmware version indicates the version of the software running on the router. The hardware version indicates the version of the hardware built into the router.

    You must ensure that you only upgrade your router with the firmware that is compatible with your router. The exact hardware version and the model is printed on the label under the router. If she says WRVS4400N V2 then you have a router V2. If it shows shows no version number after the name of the model that you have a V1 router.

    The version number of the firmware is not related with the hardware version. The latest version for a V2 router could be 1.50 and the latest version for a V1 router could be 4.30. Still wouldn't change that you should only use firmware for V2 router on a router V2 etc.

    Linksys occasionally ussd version numbers of firmware "borrowing" of the hardware version, for example WRT54Gv7 firmware starts with v7. But this isn't always the case. For the WRVS4400N, it seems as if they are the same, however.

    In any case, check the label on the router, then you know the hardware version...

  • Fast refresh materialized view problems

    I have two databases (A and B).

    In A database, user NICK has a table called COLOUR_MASTER.
    Also in this database, NICK issues creating materialized command newspaper view colour_master with the primary key, including the new values (and Yes, there is a primary key defined for this table)
    In database B, there is a link of database called A_LINK, connect, Nick, identified by password using 'dbA ';
    In database B, user IAN also creates a materialized view CM_MV cool off quickly in select * from colour_master@A_LINK

    This statement is done correctly, and there are several million lines in CM_MV when it's done.

    Immediately, IAN issued this command:

    Start
    dbms_mview. Refresh ('CM_MV');
    end;

    .. .and after a small pause, it gets the error

    ORA-12008: error path refresh materialized view
    ORA-02068: following sever error of A_LINK
    ORA-03113: end of file on communication channel

    One more + "select count (*) of colour_master@A_LINK" + subject immediately manages to return the correct number of records in the database so A 3113 is a bit misleading, I think that, in this case have crash, the database remains accessible at all times, there is no network problem (database A and B are both located in the same server so it of not like I'm trying of) connect to halfway around the globe).

    The only thing I can think is that there is a permissions issue causes this error. The creation of MV because is made via a link, it is not a problem of IAN see all appropriate, but once the updates come into play, it is perhaps.

    Any who can shed light on why I can't do the fast refresh from the view, I can create joyfully, please?

    I'm surprised no one asked you to do what is obvious: try to do a select * from colour_master@A_LINK, without that being wrapped in a create materialized MATERIALIZED view. Just do a simple select * from...

    My bet is that you will get an error ORA_22992 can not use selected from the remote tables LOB Locators . And if you can't do a simple select * in a remote table, I suspect that you can reasonably expect Fireworks when you try to create or refresh a view materialized on such a thing!

    Here's a quick test:

    In the 1 database:
    =========

    SQL> create table A (col1 varchar2(2), col2 clob);
    Table created.

    SQL> alter table A add constraint A1 primary key (col1);
    Table altered.

    SQL> insert into A values ('AA','This is an entry into a clob column');
    1 row created.

    SQL> commit;
    Commit complete.

    SQL> create materialized view log on A with primary key including new values;
    Materialized view log created.

    In the database 2
    =========

    SQL> connect ims_global/v0yager1@ussd
    Connected.

    SQL> create materialized view B refresh fast as
      2  select * from A@remotedb_link;

    Materialized view created.

    SQL> exec dbms_mview.refresh('B');
    BEGIN dbms_mview.refresh('B'); END;

    *
    ERROR at line 1:
    ORA-12008: error in materialized view refresh path
    ORA-02068: following severe error from REMOTEDB_LINK
    ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel
    ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_SNAPSHOT", line 2251
    ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_SNAPSHOT", line 2457
    ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_SNAPSHOT", line 2426
    ORA-06512: at line 1

    SQL> drop materialized view B;
    Materialized view dropped.

    SQL> create materialized view B refresh fast as
      2  select col1 from A@ims_link;

    Materialized view created.

    SQL> exec dbms_mview.refresh('B');
    PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.

    Which seems to reproduce your problem rather well, I think.

    I don't know if there is no work around for this. I mean, obviously you can't miss the CLOB column in your statement of 'create a MV' as I just did, but I don't know if you're still allowed or expected to be able to create a MV on lob columns and that such and such correction will allow you to do. Maybe someone else can provide this information.

    But at least you won't have to play Russian roulette with your init.ora parameters!
