V3.0.0.R30.16 DPS App Builder no longer works?

After building my application successfully yesterday I did some updates and now I'm trying to create my revised app.

Once the DPS App Builder launches, I get an error message:

"This version of DPS App Builder has expired. Please remove the existing version and download the latest version of http:/// www.adobe.com/go/digpubsuite_vb_mac"" "" "

BUT this link downloads the same version v3.0.0.r30.16...

Where is the new version that is supported? It works?

Probably a caching issue.  You can clear your cache, or download it from:

  • Departure of DPS App builder does not work. Java error message.

Given that I've upgraded to Mac OS 10.10 the App Builder no longer works.

It is said that it needs Java. But Java is installed. I walked to the oracle site and upgraded to latest (8u25 at the time), but to no avail. It stills shows the same error. I also tried to reinstall Appbuilder DPS... also no effect. I rebooted the system, etc. without effect.

Edit: Also this link for a promised work apple JRE: Java for OS X 2014-001 dosen't work for me (still empty, no download). Strange thing... on the website of oracle to check what version I have, it is said correctly 8u25. If I check in the terminal with: java-version, it says 'No Java runtime present'... so I guess the problem is on the side of Apple. Edit-end.

    Here is a screenshot:

The message is in German. It is said: 'Install Java. To use the DPS App Builder, Java must be installed. Install Java and then restart App Builder. »

  • DPS App Builder does not open, says 'this version of DPS App Builder has expired... "I tried to clear the download cache, uninstalling AIR and Builder, nothing works.

Currently, I am using the DPS App Builder to create a .ipa to a folio that I created. Whenever I have 'create app' via InDesign, I get an error message stating "this version of DPS App Builder has expired. Please remove the existing version and download the latest version... »

I tried to do this several times. I cleared my browser cache, as has been suggested by others who have similar problems... Nothing seems to be successful. Help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you

  • Error "Authentication required", in DPS App Builder

    Hello world.

What is the cause of the error "requires authentication" when you try to start the DPS App Builder?

    GREAT NEWS!

We have connected our acrobat.com with Safari account.
On our dashboard when we clicked on DPS App Builder on the left, Safari offered for us save Apple Developer account!

And when this recording was made, DPS App Builder no longer ask questions!

When we connected with Firefox on our acrobat.com account and we clicked on DPS App Builder, any proposed listing had been requested by Firefox.

Actually, we had not yet registered our company with Apple Developer.

So, the problem seems to be in check with Apple, and apparently, DPS App Builder does not want to be launched if this entry is not yet made.

Well, now DPS App Builder works normally

    Thanks for your help.

I hope this discussion can help someone else who will be blocked with DPS App Builder.

(PS: can you tell me if this blockage is known in the Adobe DPS development team?)

  • DPS App Builder requires a serial number for assets

I am a user of creative cloud and wonder a serial number inside DPS App Builder.

This is a known issue and adobe has released a fix, this however doesn't fix it for me:

    http://helpx.Adobe.com/Digital-Publishing-Suite/KB/DPS-CCM-users-get-activate.html

I have the latest indesign CC and you follow the steps to remove and reinstall DPS App Builder three times with the digital edition Patch. If you follow the instructions to select "create app' inside the constructor folio in indesign - it launches DPS App Builder." It automatically connect me and takes me to the "start page" where I can eith "learn more" or manage.
    dps_app_builder.jpg

I expect that I would take to another screen having recognized that I am creating an application - in which I can add the assets directly.

From there I selected "continues to manage view" and then click on 'New' and load in the .zip (which had been created by the DPS producer: Organizer) and assets (icons).

The next step is to activate but I amd asked a serial number.

    activate_app.jpg

After update indesign, following the instructions to remove and delete the DPS App Builder and reinstall. Ensuring that I clear the cache of the browser and sign everything - why, after following the instructions I I always request a serial number?

    A few details:

    DPS App Builder is V 3.0.0 (r30.16)

    InDesign 9.2.1 (CC)

    Mac OSX 10.9.3

    I followed the installation instructions: AdobeDigitalPublishingPatch-CC - 30.0.1

I also tried (as recommended by adobe) reinstall the Panel of Folio Builder - strangely for CS 5.5 (FolioPanel - CS5.5 - 30.0.1)

Really want to support. Thank you!

Good question and check what I think I spotted the problem with that.

A secondary account is joint membership plan.

It was my mistake forgetting it - the license should have set up at the main account, however after moving from country Adobe would not be welcome.

  • Cannot start DPS App Builder

    Hi

After a long time only working with DPS2015, I do some chores with DPS2014 SE.

That's why I tried to start the DPS APP Builder. But I can't launch:

    * In Indesign with folio chosen, I can click on 'Create' App. then I see a gauge "App Builder is underway" but subsequently no app Builder.

    * Apple Spotlight or in Applications I find DPS App Builder. But clicking on it does not start the application.

    * I already downloaded the latest Version (32.4.5) from the Adobe website and installed.

    * I already removed the app and installed the new.

    * I rebooted my macbook.

    * I uninstalled App Buiolder DPS by moving it to the trash

    * I emptied the trash, too (and emptied the download folder, too)

    * I deleted the browser cache

    * I re-uploaded the DPS App Builder Image and installed again - no problems

    But I can't throw :-(

    Any other ideas?

    Thanks

    Hans

PS: I also can not start previewer folio (tool that I did not really, because I test better with the Adobe Viewer on my iPad. But maybe the two things have the same reason.

Yes, these are the two most recent versions. I do not know why you can no longer launch DPS App Builder. Have you entered in the Applications folder and tried by double clicking on the app? If so, I would like to delete it in the Applications folder, reinstall it, and then try again. If this does not work, contact technical support.

  • Cannot advance in DPS App Builder

Hello, I'm in DPS App Builder App details stage. I have tabled on behalf of the application, and the title, but cannot advance to the next screen. Have updated Indesign 2014, restarted - still have the same result. The button 'Next' highlights, but is not active. Thank you! JamesScreen Shot 2015-02-15 at 9.39.12 am.png

This occurs when you try to create a simple editing application and did not start App Builder via the menu item Create App in Folio Builder Panel. To create simple editing applications, you must launch App Builder for Panel Builder Folio.

  • DPS App Builder.app vs the generator online app

I can still build new iPad apps (and update older for 64-bit) using the DPS App Builder.app on my computer?

I understand that I must use the generator online to: https://appbuilder.digitalpublishing.acrobat.com/#/login to create Android applications.

For the iPad applications does it matter that the one that I use?

    Thank you

The Office DPS App Builder to create iOS applications. Use the App from the DPS on the Web to create Android applications and Windows.

You cannot use the Web-based DPS App Builder to create iOS apps, and you cannot use the desktop computer DPS App Builder to create Android/Windows applications.

    Then you need to either:

    (1) sign up for cloud creative then you can build a simple edition approx. attention however: this approach will no longer valid as of May 1, when we withdraw support for a unique creative cloud and unique edition apps are only on devices iPad.

    (2) sign up for a full license of DPS. You can request information on prices using Adobe | Request for consultation.

  • Withdrawal of Viewer Shell of DPS App Builder

I finished building my application with Digital Publishing Suite and created my application with DPS App Builder (for easy editing). Now that I'm testing my application development, I was wondering if there was a way to remove the casing around the application I built, because it interferes with interactive elements on my page. Is this something that cannot be done with the professional or Enterprise editions?

There is no way to remove the menu bar that appears on the screen when the player clicks on the content of the page. He must realize in your design if it applies to you. Even the pro/business clients cannot turn it off.
