• No way to disable startup Vaio Care

  Hello. I have a problem with my laptop Vaio - startup takes about 5 minutes until all programs properly loading. I would turn off start Vaio Care, so I looked up this community site. The decision proposed by many members is to disable via the Task Scheduler in Windows 7. The problem is that when I open the Task Scheduler, I do not see Vaio Care inside, so obviously that I can't turn it off. Right now I don't know about any other way of disabling Vaio Care, so I want to get help here.

  Try to check under Services startup type.

  1) click Start

  (2) click on run

  (3) type "Services.msc".

  (4) press on enter

  5) scroll down and look for performance of Vaio Care service

  (6) on the general tab, you can check the status of the service if its started or stopped. You will have an option to stop the service on this tab.

  7 in the drop-down list startup type. It will give you list drop-down option automatic, manual and disabled.

• VAIO Care does not.

  I have a Sony Vaio VPCF111FX laptop model. I installed the other day through the program update VAIO VAIO Care. The new version seems to be 6.3 and when I try to run it, it keeps freezing on me. Anyone of these problems? If so, what can be done to fix this?

  I installed 6.4 and it froze on me as the creators of post experience. I posted a thread, but no response.

  I uninstalled, installed, used the old one... not good everywhere.

• VAIO AND VAIO CARE UPDATE has stopped working

  VAIO VPCCW21FX vaio update version 5 but does not update.
  The control panel and remove the vaio update installed at new, but does not.

  The same thing happens with the vaio care.

  Many users have had problems with these programs. There are a lot of posts in this section relating to similar issues that you are experiencing currently. I take some time and look at some of the problems/solutions that others have tried. You may receive a "generic" to one of the moderators answer to "(appelez le support technique, réinstaller, faire une restauration complète de votre système, etc.)." I assure you that many users have tried everything above with little or no chance.

  May we are waiting for a patch or upgrade to the software to solve the current problems.

• NEW Vaio Care Software Update (6.4.0.15030)

  FYI... just noticed that there is an update of the VAIO Care software on the site eSupport for my laptop model. The update date 29/03/2011 and the version # is 6.4.0.15030. It is said in the release notes that it is supposed to contain a fix for the problems download Self Heal and Patch a lot of posters have had problems with. Hope it works.

  Now just waiting for Sony to issue an update/fix to the Vaio Update software!

  I cannot remove the vesa one and installed the new on top.

  Thanks for your reply... In fact, we found the resolution. The VAIO Care version has 6. We went in the VAIO care and deleted folder logs in the Logs folder and it worked, it works with all versions of VAIO care.

  Help guys! I bought the vaio model vpcee42fx been there 16 months of problems with it since the expiration of the warranty. VAIO care homepage happens then it freezes, tag model and service info to the page button no longer appears. Stop Windows media player running at the same time. I also now have to also hold power button / stop fuel and on device several times to get the screen vaio lead, this problem started all first then foregoing vaio care began. installed new memory and new battery two less than 1 month. I can send screenshots of the observer of events and vaio care screens if it helps. Noveaute I uninstalled vaio care but now cannot reinstall should I uninstall windows and then reinstall more vaio care?

  Can you post the model number of your COMPUTER and the operating system? It is possible that your VAIO care software may be damaged or a file may have been deleted. What we can do is to download and reinstall the original version of VAIO care and update later. I hope this helps!

  How you installed 10 Windows on your machine? Did you upgrade or clean install the operating system? Yes, you try to install the on-board version originally from the Software of VAIO Care. If you encounter a problem, you can update this thread.

• Why is there no option to create my Vaio care recovery discs?
