  It is the result of my M5-581TG. I don't have any BIOS entry for virtualization. I think that, on capable machines, this will be enabled by default as is the case on my M5.

  According to me, the table of temperature/speed of the fan is wired in the BIOS and cannot be changed.

  If it was me, I suspect the battery enough to buy one. I think that if it was hardware power management, it would not work to power either.

  It will help your main battery for sure, but I don't know how, when you use PS or CAD.
  Moreover, it will be difficult to find something more powerful and still small to be portable.

• Acer Aspire E5 - 551g do not correctly restart

  I have a laptop Acer Aspire G 551 - E5 - t0jn which was not correctly restart after upgrade to Windows 10.

  The laptop starts if I press and hold the powerkey until it passes to the wide, or make a SHUT DOWN instead. However, when I just do a restart it just hangs at the Acer logo indefinitely. I did a clean install of windows 10 and the problem persisted. I then installed a linux beside windows 10 distribution and the problem persists there too, so I'm not sure it's just windows 10. However, until the upgrade, 8.1 and my time given linux partition on very well without hassle.

  The problem was the Ultimate - n 6300 Wireless Nic Intel I asked to replace the buggy Atheros, since swapping back everything works as should be. I never suspected the wireless network card could be the problem, but it turns out that this particular card and E5 mobile computers Acer 551G could not agree and resulted in the laptop hung downtown after the reboot.

  Recently I opened my Matthew acer aspire E5 - 551 G-T018 to replace my 1 TB to 240 GB SSD HARD drive.

  And now I recently saw on a website that there are these caddy that can be used to replace the DVD rom for extra HDD or SSD.

  My laptop has a DVD. It is held by a screw in the back. DVD rom doesn't have a SATA connector, but some small connector and SATA, I don't know his name.

  What I was wondering is would it be possible to replace the DVD rom on this model for a caddy with my old HDD in there?

  And if it's possible. Thickness of which would I need for my future caddy?

I think the upgrade of Windows 10 while Microsoft has the free updating running and I already know that this model is not officially supported by Acer in the Windows 10 environment, but the model is able to run Windows 10. I am wonderng if anyone has any input in reference to the V3-551 and 10 Windows?

  I just installed Windows 10 on my V3-551 last night. When it's over, I didn't have a single error. Mine came with Windows 8.

• WINDOWS 7 STARTER/ACER ASPIRE ONE UPDATE HELP

  I have a brand new Acer Aspire One Netbook.  It is brand new, so after I did the initial installation for the new netbook, Windows 7 is an update.  When the update is complete, it blocks my netbook.  I get a black screen and a cursor only.  The only way I can fix it is to restore back to the factory and start all over again.  Anyone know why this is happening or that updates 62 is the cause? I basically can't update my OS until it is fixed or know where it is and it can check the updated list.

  You say you have 62 updates. The only true way to know what update is the cause of the problem is by installing one at a time.

  I was looking especially the optional updates as shows drivers etc. If you are offered drivers, you should consult the manufacturer's website to see if indeed you really need the updated drivers.

  Acer Aspire M3 581PTG my son has stopped booting.  At the start, immediately after the Acer logo, it now shows a blue screen with the message:

  Recovery

  Certain required information does not appear in the data of Configuration startup file. File: \BCD Error code: 0xc000000d

  He then refers to using the tools of recovery and the media, but we cannot locate Acer recovery disks and do not remember if the laptop came with everything.  I started by using a normal 8.1 Windows installation CD and tried to use different repair options, but nothing worked (perhaps because Acer has a SSD and HDD so need a specialized repair utility?).

  We contacted Acer but just received a generic response to do a factory reset.  If anyone has encountered this error or is able to offer a solution?

  Hi once again, haven't tried resetting CMOS any change, tried to restart with the USB, single beep pattern repeats and flashes the led of the USB, nothing on the screen, the mouse is powered, KB is not powered OK.

  Hello! I have an Acer aspire V3 - 571G.   I finally solved this problem! After starting, press F9, and then click "restore." Then you will need to be patient and start the computer normally will be! Here it helps other people with this problem too.

• Acer Aspire R7 stuck in the diagnosis of the PC / had media failure before you start.

  Failure of bootable media, generally describes a fault/problem with the hard drive, or the connection. You can check the hard disk drive yourself to ensure that it is well installed, but if it's under warranty (which I think it's maybe) then contact Acer support for your region.

  A few weeks ago, my laptop Acer Aspire R14 went totally blank. When I unplugged the power cord, it started right to the top, but at the moment where I plugged the power cord back inside would be closed. The battery dies quickly in this way, because it would not charge. I removed the battery then it started upward with the power cord. I thought it must be the battery, so I installed a new battery. which is not to change the problem.

  So, I ordered a new motherboard and after a few weeks, I received it today, installed, and I have always the same thing. It works well with the power cord plugged in until the battery is disconnected. But at the time wherever I connect the battery, everything stops, not to be revived unless I disconnect the battery.
