  I am facing the typical issue with VCENTER UNIT 5.5. I can't chew on the BOX.

  It just says: access denied.

  I followed VM KB # 2069041 however root account works fine. .

  I can connect to the Internet, I can connect to the vCenter server using autonomous VIC.

  The problem is resolved.

  We did two things...

  1. Deleted Active Directory identity Sources under configuration of Single Sign-on.
  2. Reset the configuration of SSO incorporated.

  After that, we can enter for device via SSH.

  Not sure what is relationship but it has helped me and thought to post our solution.

  Also, check the following:

  • Check form is saved in XML form dynamics in the Save as dialog box.
  • Make sure the menu drop down doesn't have a limit value / specified in the object > Binding tab.
  • I would drop the second "ElseIf" and just run with a 'other '. It seems only two choices, then the principal if the declaration will capture a condition and the other with the second exit.

• vRA: identity device or vSphere SSO when there are multiple vCenters (each with their own SSO) in the environment?

  The installer: We have multiple vCenters each with their own SSO. We must build a minimum install vRA lab 6.1 and used the SSO to the vCenter which is the endpoint lab (and ended up having problems when this vCenter SSO had to be rebuilt and in turn liquid reconstruction vRA). Building on a vRA 6.2 Distributed Lab (based on deployment in the 6.1 reference architecture) to validate our production plan and decided to use the identity.

  Question: For a production buildout there is no reason not to use the device of the identity (scalability, performance, lack of HA)? If you are using vSphere SSO, when there are multiple vCenters one that should be used for SSO of vRA? If that vSphere SSO is never removed (say on the whole things are replaced by a central SSO for all vCenters rather than each on their own, or some issue needs to be rebuilt) is there a clean way to repoint SSO vRA without a reconstruction?

  What I did in this case is to build a fresh cluster SSO using vCenter SSO and pointing vCAC on this one. It becomes my main source of SSO and I slowly vCenters point and other components to it overtime. You usually put vCAC SSO signed certificates and generally I find people vCenter SSO deployment in this way. To remedy this trying to modify an existing SSO vCenters and risk having to reinstall your VC because you missed the CERT, simply create a new. This also alleviates a changing overtime vCenter and spoil the vCAC SSO. The unit of identity cannot be clustered or joining existing areas of SSO. So if you are looking for HA and scale which probably does not cut it.

  OK my vCenter must be 5.5 or later version, it is tested and it's good.

  My mistake, I took two actions:

  -On the vCenter, it was that two network cards. Is the main map (DNS name of the vCenter with his IP) is the second position. I moved upward on the network at the first position Manager.

  -J' disabled IPV6 how caused me a few problems.

  Now it's ok.

  I did a test cut to see if it was the first action or the second that solved my problem but it works. For me the network card number is the problem a nuber. It seems to me I read something about it somewhere (vmware documentation or...?)

  Just after a few reviews I've seen conflicting opinions on this.

  
  I have half a dozen instances of vCenter server. They are all on the same AD domain but quite geographically dispersed and the links are of variable quality. Each site has its own VC based on vSphere 5.0 on 2008 Server with a separate database providing functions and MS SQL Server. Every VC has its own instance (local) Single Sign On hosted on the local SQL DB. All instances are independent, there is no bound mode and or other dependencies between them. Other than the AD, they are completely isolated. They are also quite low (a few hundred VMs, less than 10 guests).

  I plan to spend 5.5 and considered him my options for SINGLE sign-on. According to the Documentation Center 5.5 I have three options of SSO - Standalone/Basic, high availability, and Multisite.

  
  Ignoring the high availability, I don't know if I should go to basic, with a standalone (local to the VC) SSO to each site or multi-site, with a local SSO to each site but a part of the same domain of SSO authentication. The 5.5 Documentation Centre indicates that if I do not use related modes (which I am not) then a basic each site deployment will end.

  
  However, the 20724335 KB that the last line seems to indicate that multisite reading is preferable for instances of PASS-THROUGH authentication after the first installation.

  Important : VMware recommends this deployment mode during the installation of servers to Single Sign-On vCenter extra in your environment.

  At the moment I tend to keep it simple and stick to the base, but I'd like to see if someone else has done this differently, and if I should go down the road of multisite?

  The multisite configuration will you be gives certain advantages, as built-in multi-master replication automatic which will ensure all SSO cases are always in sync and of course the possibility of using the Mode related to the future, but if it is not important in your environment, the will of stand-alone deployment / Basic works very well.

• iMac will not close with menu Apple

  I can no longer stop or restart my iMac by selecting Apple menu, only the power button. I know that this is not preferable, I get the message that I have 'stop because of a problem' whenever I restart with the open the last known windows option. I use El Capitan 10.11.6 on a w/2.8 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 GB 667 MHz 2007 iMac and a disc SSD of Crucial from 2 TB to address 4 - months old. I have read many other threads and found no match to this problem. I have nothing of freezing. I did a check of HD with disk utility, and no not found errors. I always have to close open programs before you shut down, and Activity Monitor shows no CPU hogs in action before you try to stop. Other that auto update for various programs the only thing I added in the past two weeks when it started is Dropbox and go to the meeting, the two needed for a project. I returned and eliminated those when the work has been done, still have the problem. Run the paid version of ClamXav, up-to-date and the last scan revealed files without problem. I would try a restore to a previous setting, but just by chance my WD My Book crashed and I had to reformat so nothing to fall back on.

  The problem is in the submenu of the media/articles.  It only shows two and there are many others.  If you go to the page you can see all the links. I have the page hierarchy properly set up in the title of the page articles with titles.  I've even shortened to see if it works.

  Under the videos link all sub links appear.

  Any help would be appreciated.  I code a little, but I'm not very good.  So please be technically.

  Go to outline view, click with the right button on a page "invisible" and

  (1) make sure, that under 'menu options' the point 'include the page with hypertext links' is enabled.

  (2) choose the option 'Page Properties' and check 'Page Properties/Options', the "Export Page" element is turned on.

  We had a 10GbE card fail in a host vitural, 5.1 U1.  We have replaced the card with the same card, but cards network never appeared in vCenter.  After hours of fiddle with it, we have installed updated drivers and the vmnic is available again in vCenter for the host.  However, the card is not responding correctly.  Network cards are available, they are down, then they disappear, then they reappear and are available again.  This cycle continues constantly.  We tried to move the map in a different location, but it doesn't change anything.

  Any ideas?

  is this a HP box? Get the vmware downloads Qlogic drivers and install it manually. We had similar problems where the manual installation of the drivers helped us to solve.
