• Confusement of VCP cert requirement

  Hey all,.

  My apologies for my first post being a little panic confuzzled.

  In fact, I sat the VMware vSphere: install, configure, manage [4.0] courses in January 2010

  Tomorrow I do a What's New (version 5.0) two days on upward

  and with my copy of the Official Guide to the VCP 5 Cerrtification wants to pass VCP 5 exam at the end of February.

  However, one of my friends said that I can't become a VCP 5 that the course I did in 2010 was not the 4.1 one?

  However, the Blue Print says that even if I didn't review for v4 too long I did an internship of 4, I can still do the whats new, review of the v5 v5 and so pick up a cert v5.

  Certifications are specific to the main version, so your combination of training will qualify you for VCP5-DV.

  ICM on 4.0 or 4.1 is eligible for the DV VCP4

  ICM 5.0 or 5.1 qualifies for the DV-VCP5

  ICM on 4.0 or 4.1 and 5.0 or 5.1 WN qualifies for the DV-VCP5

  I believe you can pass the test, but you will not be recognized as a PCV until all the prereqrisites have been met.

  Hey VMware education people.

  I see there is a big difference in cost between the cost of training online and course VILT from Dell.  Is that self to the pace online, what new course meets the condition necessary to be able to take the exam VCP of vSphere 4 of 31/12/09, or we will have to follow the course of 'class '?  I took the two teams in class VI3, but have not yet taken of the VCP VI3 exam.  If I can take the vSphere 4 What's new online auto to the rhythm of the course to be eligible for examination VCP vSphere4 then that is what I would do.  Thanks for your help on this.

  I just spoke with VMware education Services. The VCP certification requires that the instructor course. It can be in a classroom or online.  Courses online at the rate of the participant are not eligible for VCP certification.

  O course oficial e um bom comeco, very como a VCP prova requires um certo Anthony of redes (conceitos of VLAN, TRUNK, etc.) e storage (conceitos of FC, iSCSI, NFS, zoning, etc), to ja possui esses conhecimentos com certeza você a prova will bem tranquila.

• Invitation to the beta exam VCP5-DT

  Hi guys

  Recently, I finished doing my cert VCP5 and was super happy to receive an email saying I was invited to the VCP5-DT Invitation to the beta examination to VMware. I always wondered how people getting these guest, now, I know. My question to the forum is:

  -Format of the examination is more than 3 hours and 225 issues

  I didn't know it would be all the exam questions and not the usual 80 or more. Does anyone know the pass mark?

  Are more generous VMware by the way these people who take the beta version review

  -I did no preparation to the poster and the review time is on December 20

  It is always interesting to try to give the review in so little time, since I have the opportunity. As the review is half price, they told me

  -If I pass this will count as a real exam cert even if it is a beta version review or will I have to redo the real exam?

  I am in 2 minds to go all court for review, but 20 is too early and as most reviews of VMware, you have to really know your suff you can not just luck

  I took lessons for 4 VCP (VMware vSphere: install, configure, and manage) this year, 11 July and currently preparing the review of the secure Channel. I'm confused if I am eligible to 510 PCC or should I give VCP 410 first? Looked VCP 510 requirements review and his confusion... Please help!

  VSphere CIM class does not qualify you tp become a VCP5 - if this is your goal take the VCP-410 exam - when you spend it you will become a VCP4 how if you take and pass the exam VCP 510 before February 29, 2012 you'd be a VCP5 with no other class rules - after February 29 you need to take the vSphere 5 this is the new class-

  I'm quite new to VMware and certification (I'am Microsoft Certified, incidentally). I wondered why the VI3: installation & configuration is required to become a VCP. In the current economic crisis, I would be great, if I was able to it with self-learning. I would like to put me and my company a lot of money. Just buy a good book practice @home and the exam . This is possible for example in Microsoft, Cisco, Citrix certification, why VMware requires a course (online)

  My opinion is, you can have all the commas after your name, that's fine and it looks impressive on a resume, but nothing compensates for the hands on work.

  I agree having a certification is a very good thing, but this isn't the only thing.  If you feel that the Collect track is not for you then, certification or not, you can always be the best no - Collect there.

  Each company has their own way of doing things, and that's the way to VMware.  You can always take your VCP exam, but you would not be recognized as a VCP until all prerequisites are met.

  This is the wrong place to ask for review of discharges - they are created by and used by cheaters.

  I'm about to license VMWare view first, and the seller has offered to provide me with a free training from this company class:

  You will need to filter it until just the vmware products.  The issue is that their offer is to install/configure VMware VIEW etc... because that's what I want to buy and use... on the website of the arrow, he said that it is a course of "certification", but on the VMware site, it shows that Vsphere...

  You are right that if you want training for you to qualify for the VCP certification, then it must be a vSphere courses attend you, be the vSphere: install configure manage or the vSphere: Fast Track would be preferable. The VMware View: install configure manage course does not lead to certification, and your skills VI3 or vSphere must flush VCP already ideally before attend you this course to view.

  I am an engineer of the VI3. I want to get VMware Certified. To obtain certification, I need to take some sort of course with VMware training providers but am not clear which course I should take.

  Do I have to take both this course for the certification "Install and configure" or "Deploy, Secure and analyze" vs "Fast Track."  OR just a course on these listed three.

  Currently, I am a vcp3. I took and passed the vcp4 test but I have yet to take the class. I was wondering if I can just take the VMware vSphere: Troubleshooting training instead of VMware vSphere: what is, since I already know what's new?

  Is-Cisco has a system as they will allow us to test of the UCS, but they will not give us unless we are SECURE.

  You can always take the test and still qualify as a Cisco Unified Computing Technology Specialist of the design and a Cisco Unified Computing Technology Support Specialist without a PCV.

  But if you're after Cisco Data Center Unified Computing Support Specialist, etc. then yes VCP is always a pre - req (I heard that there will be rejected in favour of a managed Cisco equivalent, but who is without merit)

  Unfortunatley (that I found) just passing examination VCP wasn't enough, but the VMware course is also a mandatory requirement for VCP VMware.

  You can self study and sit for the examination, there is no mandatory requirement to take courses after that.
