  What happens if you click the fill with the direct Selection tool, and then try?

  Or try to locate T shirt in the layer in the layers palette and select there, then try? You may need to click one or more arrows to look in under/groups/cutting masks / whatever.

  You should be able to just make a box of 4 x 4 on top of everything and create a clipping from the mask.

  Is this also happens with many people or just me?

  When I copy and paste a vector art in Illustrator CC 2015 2015 CC Photoshop... copy and paste as smart vector object, or paste as pixels, I simply place a vector as linked art or embeded image or... Well, any vector art that comes to photoshop come completely shredded. As in the example below.

  Does anyone know why it's happening and how to fix this?

  You have turned off anti-aliasing when you move or transform the vector file.

  Use free transform on the smart object and you can turn on anti-aliasing in the options bar.

• Conversion of PDF to form alter vector art in the document.

  I have created several forms of PDF files exported from InDesign.They are all the same except with different header text. Everyone has the same exact logo down the Center. What happens with a particular is when I go to create a display of the existing document and chose this pdf file, modifies the logo art and removes the text in the logo. This happens in Acrobat. In the InDesign file, the logo is an eps placed with all policies described. Everything in this file of logo is vector art.

  I tried many pdf export affecting InDesign, rampage indd files as pdf and create new files, restart the programs and restart my computer. None of this has fixed the problem.   Yes, I mean you don't have only the design of form, but create the fields of the form with InDesign. You will have no need to do step 4, which must be based on conjecture and can make mistakes.

• Why would my photos, vector art, and type be blurred in my object States?

  Make sure that you set the overlay to "Guide" in the control panel overlay instead of "raster".

• Flash poor performance with vector art (.svg)

  When using multiple pieces of vector art, I noticed that the performance gets rather sloppy, so I created a program of simple test that shows 100 copies of the same graph and allows to zoom in. I used what seems to be a fairly simple vector image (can see links below). However, we fall fps massively when you zoom in inside or outside. I know zoom requires a lot of calculations, but I have an above average system (processor i5 2500 k) that I expect to handle such requirements. Is there something that I am missing? or vector art is simply not viable for my game (I would need a lot of work similar to the screen at the same time)

  for optimum performance you should use bitmap images (or activate cacheAsBitmap).  But if you do a lot of zooming does not work unless you are editing for a mobile and can use the cacheAsBitmapMatrix property.

• Vector Art Question

  I have two images to vector art that should be combined into a single model of After Effects. One is a bottom plate and the other is a vector of a person. The slide of the person and the backround will go fuzzy with the text on top.

  I made a model to the top and the bottom plate looks flat as it should. The bottom plate is complicated, but he doesn't any texture to it, all solid colors. I'm looking for tricks that can be done in Photoshop to give it a dimension a little more. I know there are a lot of extrusion and 3D filters in Photoshop, but I have this work experimenting with the vector art.

  Been looking for tutorials but I probably don't mean good things. I want to give this plate backround some pop.

  If I understand you correctly, and you are wanting to create a real movement after effects comp, you can import your Photoshop file with vectors, or just the vector files individual, in After Effects, convert 3D layers, separate layers in 3D space and moving a camera through them to create what is called a 2.5 D effect.  If you are looking for tutorials of 2.5 D on the internet you can find dozens.  Here's the first example I found in a Google search.  It's more to make advanced 2.5 D animation and compositing, but just check and let us know if that's what you try to do...

• Any of the vectors appearing as 'Vector Art sequence' not 'vector '.

  I use After Effects CS6

  I imported recently some Illustrator files into a composition in After effects for a project. I imported the as a composition so I can use the different layers in the document. Files for one of the documents are vector art, but the others came into sequences of samples of Vector art. I don't know the difference between the two. I read on the forums that it has something to do with the option 'force alphabetical order' box. I have made sure it is not verified and have tried all the options to import a compostion, still no luck.

  Is this something that needs to be done to the Illustrator himself file? Or I take a few steps correctly. Also, I would like to understand the difference between Vector Art files and Vector Art sequences. As far as I know is that both can be continuously rasterized, so it doesn't seem a threat to my project.

  You had activated the 'Séquence' box at some point. Simply use the file--> Repalce images and load the files again with the correct options.

• Rastorized Vector Art becomes translucent

  Sometimes I'm vector art that seems to be quite normal and opaque: screenshot 1

  

  Then I try to convert the file into an image rastor for the purposes of presentation and what happens:

  

  If you can see the first photo, the vector art is just opaque, but in the second image, it was rasterized and seems to be on transparency "multiply". You can also note in the screenshot 1 tab transparency on the right indicates the vector art as usual. However, if I take each piece individually and pixelation, he would look normal, as such: screenshot 3

  

  If I save for web and devices, export to JPEG, or using object > Rastorize (all together), this problem happens. However, it happens only occasionally, and only in the document CMYK color mode. I have rastorized of hundreds of such images without these problems. The graphics in the screenshot have been copied directly from a file I was working with, and I was not the creator of this art, so I do not know the process that occurred to create in the first place. However, the attribute is transferable with the tool drops eyepieces.

  See the attributes Panel and check if Overprinting is enabled. If this is the case, turn the power off.

• Vector Art After Effects CS3, Windows 7 crashes

  I noticed that AFX CS3 always crashes when I try to use effects of vector Art on Windows 7.  I am able to activate the effect, but when I start to paint, it hangs still after a few seconds.  No idea how to prevent this accident? I love vector art.

  Solved this problem on my computer by running After Effects in compatibility mode.

  My setup is different from the original message, but I hope it helps someone else.

  Here is my problem and how I fixed it...

  System: Windows Vista

  After Effects CS4

  Vector paint

  Drawing by a small third line, AfterFX would lock upward and the screen would go semi transparent. By turning the settings Open GL did not help.

  Closed AfterFX and righ-click on the shortcut of After Effects.  Chose properties-> tab shortcut-> compatibility-> check "run this program in compatibility mode for"Windows XP (Service Pack 2).

  All the other settings, nothing is done.

  Click OK.

  Boost AfterFX and the vector effect paint works fine now!

• Understanding vector art

  If I need to use some vector clipart, but I have to guarantee that it is 100 percent to grayscale without color, I understand that I have to open in Illustrator and change it to grayscale. This is the most safe, exact option?

  I work with a designer who chooses to use Photoshop for the same mission. It opens the vector art in Photoshop and then change it to grayscale and it scales compared to how he wants.

  If I use Illustrator to work with vector art, the advantage is that the art remains a vector image real, right?

  If my designer used Photoshop, which means that it is the pixelation (bitmapping) vector image and once it resizes it, it's size, it will be.

  I am importing some vector clipart. I need to convert to grayscale before I can use it.

  QUESTION #1: Can I convert it to grayscale in InDesign, or should I open art in Illustrator and convert grayscale it?

  QUESTION #2: Since this is the vector art, can I simply intensify it as top that I do, or do I need to say ID or Illustrator what size I want?

• Illustrator CS4 save vector art for Microsoft Word

  I have a logo created in Illustrator CS4. I saved the file for use in Microsoft Office using the 'save for Office", export as a .wmf and even save vector art in Photoshop as a .png. I can get a variety of formats to work well into Word documents.

  That is the problem. Finally, the Word document will be saved in PDF format. When the file is saved as a PDF (from Word), the color changes in the PDF file. How can I fix this? I tried to record the changes in the modes of rgb and cmyk colors, but the color when it hits Acrobat prints differently than the Word. It drives me crazy and I can't understand it.

  I do this often enough and export to Illustrator in .wmf format. I get the necessary transparent background, no problem of pixel, and the graphics are crisp. Clip art from Microsoft Office is about all .wmf formatted, so I thought that it would be compatibility problems and there is no. This is perhaps an approach that will work easily for you.
