Venue 8 5830 Pro upgraded to win 10 Bluetooth keyboard problem

I could put my 5830-10 Windows using Microsoft 'MediaCreationTool '. I, unfortunately, had no room for the update and had to go to the wipe everything and then install Win 10 option. It worked.

Unfortunately, many of the drivers had to be updated and I have been busy doing that, but I have a big problem. When I bought the first of all the coming 8 Pro, I also bought a case with a Bluetooth keyboard. The keyboard worked fine with 8.1. To help to win 10, I've matched both the keyboard and a Bluetooth mouse. The mouse works fine, but even if the keyboard is paired, its strikes are not registered and that I have to use the on-screen keyboard.

I found a post on another site that offers to go into the settings of "accessibility" and disable FilterKeys. Unfortunately, this setting is for the keyboard on the screen and not the Bluetooth keyboard, if it does not work. There seems to be no help in the Bluetooth settings. It shows that the keyboard is paired, but not much else.

I guess I could try another keyboard, but it worked beautifully with 8.1.

Any ideas?

Yes, absolutely... and does not work.

What I understand, Microsoft has changed their Bluetooth Driver in Windows 10 for safety reasons and it's much older BT keyboards with sloppy software does not work in win 10.

In case it helps someone, I finally found the solution to my old Bluetooth keyboard work with Windows 10 on the venue Pro 8.

In the device under Bluetooth-Bluetooth car radio-> properties > Manager there is a tab named 'Power Management'.

The option "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" is checked by default. I unchecked it and my old Bluetooth keyboard that worked with Windows 8.1 works on Windows 10 once again.

the webcam was working fine until what the windows upgrade to Win 8.1 pro, the webcam is not displayed in Device Manager. BIOS definition OK, I could not find a driver for TOSHIBA WEBCAM HD for windows 8.1 pro, please help

    Hello

The Windows 8.1 does not require driver external webcam.
Usually, the webcam driver is part of the Win 8.1 system and so the webcam should be recognized automatically.

To my knowledge, the webcam is connected to the USB controller. You have a few unknown devices (USB devices) in Device Manager with yellow exclamation?

By the way: you would update the BIOS to the latest State and system of Toshiba driver to win 8.1 installed?

From what I've read about the specifications of your computer, it had Windows 8 core and not Windows 8 Pro from the factory.  When you update the store Windows or Windows Update, Windows will search the version you have on the system and download the appropriate version.

If you feel that the above is not correct, do a factory restore using the recovery or recovery that hopfully disks Manager, you created when you first got the computer and check the installed system.

  • Can I use my Win 7 Pro Upgrade to upgrade my laptop running Win 7 Home?

I bought the Windows 7 Pro upgrade before realizing that I had bought the wrong upgrade to what I had on my computer. I ended up having to buy a Win 7 Home, then update to Win 7 Ultimate, so I could keep all my programs in tact. Now, I'm about to get a laptop. If the laptop has Windows 7 Home installed, can I use my Win 7 Pro upgrade for the version of Win 7 Home upgrade? If not, what version on the laptop do I need if I can use my already purchased Win 7 Pro Upgrade? There is no other computer autour who can't use my upgrade, it seems, because I ordered the version of 64-bit operating system, so I guess that laptop must have an operating system 64-bit as well.

Anytime Upgrade using year already bought Retail Pro/Ultimate key

In Windows 7 Home Premium, type Anytime Upgrade in search programs and files box on the start menu, and then click the Windows Anytime Upgrade.  From there, you can enter your product key of Windows 7 Professional/ultimate retail and perform a simple upgrade. All programs and files will remain on the computer, there is no drive necessary and it takes about 10 minutes.

  • Just upgraded to Win 7 Pro to XP Pro - could not find a way to create shortcuts!

OK, just for the record, I'm on Windows 7 Pro, just upgraded to Win XP Pro, a MacBook Pro using Parallels 8. So far, I love Windows 7, a cleaner and sharper than XP interface. But since I don't have installed it for a few days, I run into some nagging problems. As...

    Can anyone help?

    Thank you

Make a right click the program under Office 2013 list and go to send to-> Desktop (create shortcut)

    Do this with all programs.

  • Installation upgrade to Win 7 Pro 64 Full

I have a PC (can call PC - 1) with Vista installed. I've upgraded to Windows 7 Pro 64-bit and all sorts of problems.

I bought a copy of OEM Win 7 Pro 64 and install it on a new hard drive on this PC-1. He works very, very well. So far, I'm very happy.

The old hard drive on PC - 1 is out of the computer in a shelf with no use. He has my Windows 7 Pro upgrade in it.

I bought a brand new similar (PC-2) computer and a new hard disc, so now I have:

-PC-1 with a new drive hard and nine OEM win 7 64 bit install and works perfectly... and

-PC-2 with a new hard drive in which I tried to install my (legal) original of the upgrade to Win 7 Pro 64, but I didn't want to not install Vista first, because I'm having the same problems that I had in the first place, so I install as a full version. At the point where he asks me my product key that I copied from the sticker in the present case, he tells me is not a valid product key.

What should I do to use this copy of Windows 7 Pro in my new hard drive, but do not install Vista first?

However, the requirements for the media upgrade is that you have an operating system already eligible such as Windows XP or Vista installed to use it. Since the Windows 7 end user license agreement.

15 UPDATES. To use upgrade software, you must first be licensed for the software that is eligible for the upgrade. After the upgrade, this agreement takes the place of the agreement for the software that you upgraded. After upgrade, you can no longer use the software that you upgraded.

You can not install the upgrades on a blank disc.

  • Win 7 32 bit sp1 pro has not upgraded to win 10.

After a failure of the upgrade to win 10, I took the option to come back to win 7, such offered in the first month or so, only to find pc display error corrupted or tampered with the Task Scheduler. I tried restoring the restore point saved only to be told that too much has been altered and lacked some crucial files. all attempts since then have failed and it seems no answer to solve the problem. I would definitely to win 10 if it worked correctly with my system .i can only hope that eventually someone can come to a solution that has many others seems to be affected by. If there is a fix out there please let me know.

If the upgrade failed, how do come back you?  I suspect the upgrade succeeded, you had questions and chose to return.

It is time to repair the system, you either have now or pure install win 10 (if enabled)

Please run a check of system files (SFC) & DISM if you're on win 8 or higher
