I am trying to install on a PC running windows XP. a complete uninstall by KB02206. The installer gets to that point:

Installation of Microsoft .NET framework 3.5 sp1 (for download).

That brings up the following dialog box:

Please wait while setupup configures the component. This may take several minutes.

    Several minutes elapse, then:

Installation of Microsoft .NET framework 3.5 sp1 (for download) has failed. The installation program will now stop.

Gee, configuration, please tell me why it failed. Maybe one of you kind souls has some tips on how I can make this work?

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Can not install Desktop Manager due to the DEP.

    BlackBerry users good day.

I just of me a BlackBerry Storm 1 and I would like to install the Desktop Manager.

I downloaded the installation from the website and tried to install it.

At the beginning it goes well, that I start, select my country... but then...

... When I chose my country and I click then the installation hangs and I get the DEP error.

I looked around these forums, but I am not getting any help.

    Could someone help me please?

I'm pretty annoyed by this error.

I hope to have a useful answer.

    Kind regards

    Jurrien van Rooij.

Unfortunately not, as with most of the facilities of software, information must be written in some parts of the computer, such as the registry, and you can just use a USB flash drive to run your applications.

This error is a Microsoft Windows error occurs when Windows detects code that is run from a protected location  At this point, Microsoft is your best bet for support as it is not an error of BlackBerry Desktop Manager.

    Thank you

  • Map of media recognized by the laptop blackBerry Smartphones, but not BB Desktop Manager

I just bought a new media card that I installed in my BB Curve 9320.  When I go into my computer and discovers the phone as a disk, the space available on my new media card appears but when I try to sync everything using the Desktop Manager it just tells me I have insufficient storage and suggests using a memory card?  Map support obviously is not defective and is correctly installed, otherwise it would not appear anywhere? Thought I'd ask here was probably more likely to find a solution than the last half hour, I was screaming to my laptop!  I tried to go into the options of the device and changing where the media is stored but the only option of the menu drop-down me gives is "device 32 MB" also, I read the post about the reassignment of the number of disks in disk management, but it has not solved the problem either

How do you solve a problem like Maria!  (although my name is Emma!) Smart cookie that I am, I worked it out by myself but announcement on the case where someone else has the same problem.  I put the micro SD in the SD adapter full size that came with it and plugged directly into the memory card on my laptop... how he told me that the card should be formatted, did that and boom, now he's worked

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BB ID vs Desktop Manager.

Hi all. first of all, sorry for the bad English (I'm Italian).

I have a 9320 curve, my first BB.

these screenshots to explain my problem:

    http://postimg.org/image/atzzxr1dx/

    http://postimg.org/image/6dnurrxt3/

    Firmware 7.1.0.714 (operator Wind Italy).

yesterday, I opened the Blackberry App World. He opens and invites me to update to Blackberry World (ok, the link to the site, download, install).

then I restarted and opened the world of Blackberry. It opens and invites me to update the Blackberry ID. Once again, successful update.

everything ok, but when I put all my phone (new applications, contacts/photos/music of the old...) I plug the 9320 for the Blackberry Desktop Manager for a backup and uninstall applications.

Blackberry Desktop Manager show upward with a pending (see the screenshot) operation: reinstall some 'old version' of "necessary software." the issue is that is NOT possible to turn off this operation. It reinstall the OLD BB ID, then the BB world would install the ID of the NEW BB Desktop Manager to reinstall the OLD...

    How can be fixed that?

on the desktop software, there is an option for him would not not to make the automatic updates. I suggest that you uncheck this option.

If you want to keep this option is checked, then you must install on your PC, the latest version of the OS for your 9320. Contact the wind if need is, you should be able to download it here:
    https://swdownloads.BlackBerry.com/downloads/entry.do?code=C8758B517083196F05AC29810B924ACA
(it seems that you did not, because this is the same version 7.1.0.714...)

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Can I remove Desktop Manager of BB

I use a Mac, download Pocketmac to sync with my 8350i Curve.  Could not know how to change the automatic signature, so I plugged the 8350 to my PC with Desktop Manager, according to the instructions.  Sync cannot end with Pocketmac.  Is there a conflict between the two and delete the Desktop Manager in the BB?

    Thank you

    Hello

You should be good to go as far as all conflicts between pocketmac and Office Manager.

I would try this link before deleting pocketmac. I would also like to use the office as a Manager

  • BlackBerry Smartphones can't uninstall Desktop Manager

I just upgraded from curve to the storm.  Existing desktop software is v4.2.2.14.  Don't know how you change it to recognize the new device, but when you try to upgrade to the latest Desktop I get the message "the Office Manager is running. Close it before you continue. Click Cancel to abort the installation.

Therefore, I thought that I would like to delete (via Add/Remove Programs), but I get the same message?

As far as I'm concerned the Desktop Manager does NOT work.  When you Ctrl + Alt + Del and the conduct of the audit of programs, it does not appear as a running application.

Guidance on how to uninstall would be appreciated.

    Hello

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not see Desktop Manager in my list of all programs on the start menu

I just installed the Blackberry Desktop Manager for Blackberry 7100i Nextel (version 4.1.0.376).

It does not appear under all programs on my Winxp start menu.    It seemed to install correctly, but it just doesn't appear in the start menu.    I removed it by following the instructions (requiring the removal of certain registry entries and files and more using Add/Remove programs in the control panel).

I reinstalled the program and it will not always be displayed on the start menu.    I can run a couple of .exe files and run it manually, but I don't get the full program.

I am the administrator of my pc Windows XP Professional.

Any ideas on what could be the problem?

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

Yes, that would do makes a difference. For reference, the best procedure must first install the full package of DTM (what version you need for your PIM version if you plan to synchronize via attached USB/BT), then, at the top of the DTM installed, your bundle of BONES of carriers (which modifies DTM so that it can provide you with options that apply to you).

You can edit your previous post - but it's actually better not unless there is a real error needing correction. It is good to leave the wire in place just in case someone in the future should have a similar situation... so that they can find your description and solution and I hope to find their response without the need to post a new thread.

Oh yes, once you are sure that it is resolved, please don't forget to mark the thread as solved.

    Best!

  • BlackBerry smartphones a FIX! -Desktop Manager 7.0

HELO all - after 2 days was also frustrated that hundeds of you were, I have my running Desktop Manager 7.0 (version 44). Thanks to a certain number of you who gave me clues. I tried to roll back to a restore point in order to obtain the return - 6.1 which failed miserably and I couldn't even get it to load - this is what steps I used to get a solution I tested:

    BTW - I use Win 7 (64-bit) and Office/Outlook 2010 (32-bit), synchronization with a Bb Tour using OS 5.x

    1. using the Control Panel, uninstall all Bb DM you have (versions 6 or 7). Reset.

    2. using the Control Panel, uninstall the MS .net components. (I got 4.0 and need to uninstall the component extended before you uninstall the .net Framework.) Also, I chose to "Restart later" After uninstallation of first and only restarted after uninstalling second. Reset.

    3. you must have Visual C++ 2008 SP1 installed. Look under control Panel\Programs to see if you have it. If this is not the case, do a Google search and you will get the download link easily. Reboot after installation (if you do not already have Visual C++ 2008 SP1).

    4. go to Blackberry.com and download the latest 7.0 (build 44) and follow the instructions for installation.

    5. once loading Desktop Manager, accept the values by default - but do * not * check the organizer for synchroization files.

    6. connect your Blackberry via USB cable. A backup will take place.

    7. when the backup is complete, go to the organizer and configure each of the four areas that you want to use. Be sure to select a one-way since the device and check the box to write about the device files.

    8. once the settings are finished, synchronize all. (I + 2 000 entries, and it took about 15 minutes.) The overview of the synchronization will take a few minutes too, but be patient!

    9. when the synchronization is complete, disconnect the phone and check your calendar, contacts, etc.. It must be up to date.

    10. make a change in the schedule. Reconnect the phone. Change the settings of the Organizer to perform two-way synchronization. Synchronize all the. It will take a few minutes, but not that first sync - always be patient!

    11. when the synchronization is complete, check the calendar change - it should be there.

I hope this helps you and a lot of people because it has really been a hell two days! Best - Chuck

    Play well.

IIRC, when I installed everything first DM (v6.x), I had to uninstall all versions of the .NET framework. Then, DM has installed its own version of one of them. Since then, various other programs have reinstalled parts of the .NET framework "package" without interfering with the DM.

If it is only the 'BB software development team' and I'm using the VERY loose term, in fact, have stumbled on this obstacle, once again... .

Thanks for all the effort you put into documenting your way to victory!

However, I think I'll waqit until the BB actually recover and difficulty THEIR s/w CORRECTLY...

BTW, where all the BB customer support people answer these white-hot forum discussions?

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not uninstall Desktop Manager 5.0.1.

    Hello

I'm trying to uninstall version 5.0.1 DM on my Windows 7 computer. After the usual uninstall procedure (remove programs in the control panel), I get an error saying that "this action is only valid for products that are currently installed.

Have tried a few third party uninstall programs, but all have failed...

I need to uninstall the DM to be able to upgrade to OS6 on my Bold 9700

(apploader located traces of DM 5.0.1 and will not continue until DM 5.0.1 is removed...)

appreciate the help to get rid of the DM 5.0.1. or upgrade to OS6 on my "BOLD" without using the apploader

    Tom.

OK, this helps to understand, thanks.

Have you tried this method below to install the software for the OS device?

Honestly, for me, it's about the only method that I don't use, because it is much cleaner and easier for me and I get more control over the upgrade process.

First find your operator and the system operating file that you want to use.
    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp

Make a backup of your device first, using Desktop Manager > backup. Close the office at the end Manager.

    1. download the OS files to the PC then install on the PC by running (double click) the downloaded file.
    2. go in c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
    3. plug in the BB and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones what's Dungeon Desktop Manager deleting my App World icon?

Recently, I noticed that when I plug in my "BOLD" of Desktop Manager, he wants to update Basic apps and when he does, he keeps getting rid of my App World icon.  Not sure why...?  Can someone give me an idea as to why? Thank you.

Why update you?  If you'e updated, so you should be good for awhile.  Sometimes the DM will say that you need to update when you have not really.  I have no idea why he removes appworld, but it does.  The app is still there, but the icon is hidden.  Just reinstall and it should be good.

    • with a few OSes 5.0.X.X, BBm is a basic application and cannot be deleted.
    • BUT the other OSes, the BBm 5.0.X.X became an addon application and can be removed. (i.e. 5.0.0.43 6 and 5.0.0.462)

If you have the first category OS, I suggest you try and install BBm for example using AppWorld. Perhaps by upgrading BBm, it will become an add-on.

    Right now I have:

I would like to exchange more and calendar with Messenger.

    Is this possible?  and how?

Yes, you can move the application you prefer the top line of the complete form of icons, and that will be displayed on your home screen.

Highlight the calendar icon, press Menu > move and move this icon to the upper line.
