version of Cisco ASA5506-SEC-BUN-K9 wireless

Hello

(6) - the ASA5506-SEC-BUN-K9 is available with wireless (802.11n for example) and feuature wps? which is the point of making correct reference number?

You can work directly with your retailer to build a valid BOM. Reference numbers and subscriptions can be a little confusing to explain in a simple forum thread.

They would have started with the bundle SKU (ASA5506W-FPWR-BUN) and then (the internal configuration of Cisco and ordering tool) CCW walks in the valid reference numbers and license options.

There are many choices - especially for the wireless as it has four reference numbers of the devices according to which wireless geographical regulatory field applies to you (North America, Europe, Japan or ANZ). There is also a choice of different power cables. There is the choice of the license of security more or not (as the case may be you must HA mainly), AnyConnect license or not (type and duration) and power of fire of licenses or not (type and duration).

  • ASA5505-SEC-PL Vs ASA5505-SEC-BUN-K9

    Hello gentlemen and ladies.

I have a question about licensing on the SAA. I found on a Cisco's Web site the following:

Cisco ASA 5505 Security Plus bundle ASA5505-SEC-BUN-K9

#Includes cisco ASA 5505, unlimited number of users, switch 8-port Fast Ethernet, firewall stateful, 25 VPN IPsec peers, 2 peers of SSL VPN, stateless active / standby high availability, dual ISP support, support of DMZ, 3DES/AES license and 1 extension housing

    #Cisco ASA 5505 Security Plus bundle ASA5505-SEC-PL

Cisco ASA 5505 Security Plus's license (provides high without active state availability / standby dual ISP, DMZ support, supported VLAN trunking and session increased and support capacity peer IPSec VPN)

    Issues related to the:

    (a) what is the difference between the two? other than the obvious like VLAN Trunking and increased session and peer VPN capabilities

    (b) can take us about which we can get is one of them or a license and the other is a collection of products (including the hardware + license)

I get conflicting information from people so wanted to get this settled once and for all

Thank you very much in advance

    Knoa IT

It is an update license of all or nothing, and it is the only one offered.

  • ASA5510-SEC-BUN-K9 bundle

Hello. I have a question about ASA 5510 SEC-BUN-K9 bundle that our company has ordered a K9 bundle, but when I enter the command show version on the ASA, I see that the system image file is named asa706 - k8.bin.

Is this normal or were there a mix to the top as on the box it says it's a bundle of K9.

    Igor

It is not a mixup or a problem. It is normal that the name of the image to say k8 when ASA is described as a beam of K9. The names are incompatible, but the ASA should work as you expect it.

  • Script to check the version of Cisco VEM on ESXi host

    Hallo,

I need help, a script to check and report in a CSV file, the version of Cisco Nexus 1000v VEM on all ESXi hosts connected to a vCenter.

Basically, "vem version - v" but for all the ESXi hosts connected to a vCenter.

    Thank you

    Joseph

I suspect you could use PowerShell v1, in this version that the Export-Csv has not had the UseCulture parameter.

Try to run the script without this parameter.

But I would strongly suggest to upgrade your version of PowerShell (v3 is available)

Cisco limited offer of trial copies of some of its products. Those that are linked from here:

    http://www.Cisco.com/go/nmsevals

In General, if it is not there, it is not available as a trial version. It is usually not Cisco policy to provide all the software trial for teaching and laboratory use.

If you are working with a Cisco or a partner account manager, you will get an exception on a case-by-case basis.

  • See the version for Cisco Blocker

    Hello

As I am not really tech savvy here, we currently have a problem where we need to check a serial number for blocker of Cisco. However, the customer says that they didn't show version and we provided instead the system state information. However, her, we can derive the correct serial No. Anyone who is familiar with how to interpret the State of the system to get the correct serial number for Cisbo Blocker? Or are there other options that the customer can give us to get the correct serial number?

I enclose the status of the system provided by the customer.

    Thank you

    Cathy

    Spare part

BV277F1 is a valid serial number for blocker of Cisco.

Do I have to buy a license for software only, or should I buy a saparate for IPS module work?  How would the license be about?

    Help

You can run IOS IPS on the 2911 router, however, you must purchase the license IOS IPS to be able to run the IOS IPS feature. Not sure how the license, it is best if you ask Cisco reseller/partner and they would be able to help others with a price.

  • Cisco still sells router-AP (wireless routers) for domestic use

Well, do not really know where to ask
    But what is described

Cisco router-point of access is great and fearsome performance for a domestic use, but cisco is still for sale? If so, can someone give me a link to the list of products?
Think so just to clarify, I'm not talking about Linksys wireless routers :)

If you are looking for equipment of the company, so it's Cisco, but since they let go the Linksys line, it is not any kind of home router AP. Cisco has an SME but that may not be what you want too.

  • Does anyone know if the version of Cisco Clean Access Server supports the 4.1 (8) SHA - 256 signed SSL certificates?

Yes, I know they are very old servers and technically, we should move away from CASES in total. But unfortunately, it's an environment I inherited, and I am now dealing with issues.  Because of the requirement to move away from sha - 1 signed certificates that I need to replace my existing certs, certs signature sha-256.  But before I do that I would like to know if anyone knows if CASE version 4.1 (8) supports SHA - 256 certificates?  I did check the release notes, but there is no mention of the supported versions of SHA, etc..  I tried TACS but no joy there either, etc..

    Hello Rafael,.

SHA - 2 signed the certificate of support was added in 4.7.2 for SCS and CAM.

We have filed a default document to have it documented in the release notes.
CSCud99946    Note of support for the NAC should say we support certs of SHA - 2

    Kind regards
