• Fresh install on SSD (image blurryor very fragile) problem?

  so I have a new SSD and a new system installs on windows 7 pro 64-bit.

  Let me make a new project and a video as usual (before I get my SSD drive), and if I push the play button I get a very "fragile" image (see photo, very difficult to explain... and search the forum)

  If I resume and advance frame by frame (with the arrow) the image is 'fragile' (left side of image) then get normal after a second (right-hand side of the photo) perhaps.

  

  Note: It is two different screenshot as a before / after.

  Test I've done, it can help?

  I have the new project, and then restart my computer with my old system = > same problem

  Then I create a new project (called 2) on the old system and add the video = > no problem

  Then restart on the new system and open a project 2 = > same problem

  If I open the video with VLC = > no problem

  I have Premiere pro resinstall.

  (When I installed first of all, I get a problem with quicktime that make one very very long opening of the Prime Minister, so I reinstalled quicktime also)

  Try changing your resolution of reading at full resolution, so that your CPU does not get bogged down scaling of the resolution.

  I went on the order of lenovo site to recalculate a unit with the superbright screen option. I can't find this selection anywhere. The only choice is the multitouch or standard LED WXGA Panel.

• Satellite A200-1AX: Win7 has very limited screen resolution

  I have a SCREEN RESOLUTION (1280 x 800) after that I went to w7, before I can get about 1600 x 1280 when I was in very limited vista. I lost my vista recovery disk so I decided to go with w7, but after that I did some installations/updates to update for all my drivers again my screen resolution gives me the size 1280 x 800 maximum.
  Anyone? Please? I need your suggestions...

  Because the screen internal 15.4 "WIDE XGA supports a maximum resolution of 1280 x 800.
  Max which is possible on the internal display, and as a result, you will not be able to choose a higher resolution on the internal display.

  The resolution of the external display may be higher but not the resolution of the screen internal.

• Recovery process for Win 7 on Satellite Pro T110 is very fragile - WARNING

  I recently bought a Toshiba Satellite Pro T110 with Windows 7 Professional and was very surprised of the fragility of the system recovery process was:

  (1) there is no DVD media with recovery of Windows 7.
  (2) during the installation process, you MUST follow all the standard options (no additional partitions) If you want to be able to use the hard disk recovery partition every time.
  (3) third-party imaging solution to take a snapshot of the disk, using a partition is a pointless exercise - you will probably not be able to recover to a State where it can be used.

  Personally, I think that must be a big red piece of paper (or better yet, a set of recovery disks) in the box that says something like the following:

  If you want to be able to recover the factory default condition, you MUST follow this process:
  (1) installation using the standard options - DO NOT CREATE any WHAT of PARTITIONS ADDITIONAL
  (2) be prepared to wait hours for the system configuration process completed successfully
  (3) DO NOT connect to a network during this process connection
  (4) do not touch the keyboard or press the button unless recommended specifically to do
  (5) be prepared to go through many cycles of restarting the computer
  (6) once completed, the FIRST thing you should do is get a USB DVD drive and use the utility program to create a set of recovery disks.
  (7) create a system repair disc - it may be a CD

  In my installation, I created a partition of D (to allow for the backup image), then managed to lock the touchpad and then ended up with a totally dead machine after having tried a system recovery which came with error F3-F100-0004. Thanks to the help of Marcus to Toshiba, Brisbane I was able to get a set of recovery disks and get it operational.

  I hope this is helpful to someone else and that Toshiba can improve the reliability and stability of the recovery process.

  If you would turn on the unit for the first time, then you will see that Windows 7 was already preinstalled and just s complete the installation process
  It will take time, however, after the win 7 installation you will find a pre-installed manual, most people don t read this and it is a big mistake
  Operating instructions, you can find all the details you mention here in the display

  As far as I know Win 7 preinstalled Toshiba is an image and does not change the partitions you can change this only if you are using the Microsoft Win 7 disc and it should be clear

  However, the recovery disk must be created ALWAYS that because there is always a risk that something would go wrong with a HARD drive or partition

  With reocvery disc, you are always on the right side

• Satellite P10-304: very dark screen with negative colors

  I have a SP10-304.
  One day I swithched turn it on and the LCD display seems negative like a photographic negative.
  It is very dark, but the colors are there just upside? I connected to an external monitor to the rear exit and it worked well.

  The backlight of the screen seems to be bright enough so I guess that it may need a replacement LCD screen.

  If you are a lucky man, you won't need to replace the LCD view screen but only the inverter FL. The screen is more expensive laptop parts and it would be very unfortunate if the LCD would malfunction.

  To me, it sounds like a fault of FL-inverter and this part is not very expensive.
  I guess to contact the technician to change this part if you have no experience.

  You mean you cannot increase the screen brightness by pressing FN + F7?

  Well, I think that the FL inverter is faulty.

  If the FL inverter starts to malfunction so everything on the screen will appear like behind a thick fog.

• Satellite L30 - very small screen

  I have a problem with my Satelltie L30.
  Tour now and very low on-screen display. I tried to make clear checked settings done system restore, but no luck.
  Plugged into the external monitor and I tried reinstalling of Windows Vista Basic recovery disk seems to work.
  The first screen of the time on external screen then nothing happens now. Does not start in safe mode as installation is not complete, but cannot complete cos no image on the laptop screen or external monitor.

  Very confused, any help appreciated

  Just read another thread that this could be a problem with the converter of FL. I was wondering if that could be the case.
  I've only had the laptop 16 months and is now out of warranty. I got bored so prob from the outset and would like to know what approximate cost of compensation would be.

  This problem could be related to a faulty inverter of FL
  It is a very small part behind the screen
  If the replacement procedure is really delicate and must be performed by a technician for laptop.

• Pavilion dv5230us very dim screen

  Hello, I have a dv5230us laptop running windows 7 Professional.  All drivers and updates are installed. At startup, the LCD is very low for maybe 10 seconds, then turns off, if you shine a flashlight on the screen, you can see the image is there, but very very small.  Connect an external monitor, the external monitor works fine.  I replaced the lcd screen and inverter without result Council.  Need ideas?  Thank you for your time.

  It turns out, I bought a faulty inverter Board.  I tried a Committee of inverter of the work of the screen and another model, but I can't adjust the brightness upward or downward.  Expects the Commission to the appropriate converter now.

  my computer sony vaio notebook has suddenly had faded! I can hear the voices and see the lights on the base, when I turn it on... but I can hardly see the image when I use a flashlights to watch! How can I know what is the problem? It is the inverter or the backlight? I'm really in a hurry all my study material are on it! kindly answer my problem! I appreciate any help!

  I can't say for sure, but I think that there is a problem with 'background' - FL inverter.

  I think the BlackBerry 8520 screen is plastic hard like all keyboard BlackBerry devices (= anything but storm/Storm2). It is possible to get scratches if you try hard on the teeth of a key of the door, but other than that it is as strong as you can expect from a mobile phone. He has not identified himself as working for Mozilla until I asked if it was Mozilla (stupid me). I explained the problem and said that I had to find a way to confirm the number preceding or report it as a scam. As soon as I said scam said I must do and hung up.

  The warning screen told me I had to get this fixed malware invasion before I went shopping on the internet. I'm pretty freaked out right now, but I'm 80% sure it was a scam. Can you confirm?

  Hi, yes you are right to be wary, Mozilla will never ask you to call them. If you did, they may well have asked you to enter an address into your browser which would enable them to take control of your computer and access your data.
