VGPU session disconnects with pcoip_server_win32.exe NvFBC.dll

I run a proof of concept VGPU VDI using Horizon 6.1 and Vsphere 6

I have only 8 test VDI users and the solution is running on the local network.

Some users reported session disconnects and w hen I checked the event logs on the clients (windows 7 64-bit) the following are entries.

Users can reconnect to the session almost immediately and no work is lost.

I use some Autodesk products (Revit, Navisworks, etc.) on the clones related and so far, the results have been very good and it is only slight complaint.

Someone at - it ideas?

    • What is the full error message that you receive?

    You can view these methods:

    Method 1
Please check if you are facing the same question when working in safe mode.
    Step 1 Mode safe
    1. reboot your computer.
    2. when the computer starts, you will see your computer hardware are listed. When you see this information begins to tap the F8 on your keyboard key repeatedly until you are presented with the screen Windows 7 Advanced Startup Options.
    3. using the arrow keys, select the desired option of Mode safe.
    4. press the Enter key on your keyboard to start in safe mode of Windows 7.
    5. when Windows starts, you will be at a typical logon screen. Connect to your computer and Windows 7 goes into safe mode.
6 do whatever tasks you need and when you are done, reboot to return to normal mode.

    Steps 2. Clean boot

If the question had existed in Mode safe run mode startup minimum troubleshooting to find the root cause of the problem:
    Clean clean boot:
    1. click on start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.
    The user account control permission.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type

    Method 2:

Try the SFC scan on the computer.
SFC/scannow is a very useful command that you can use in any version of Windows. When the SFC (System File Checker) command is used with the/scannow switch, the tool analyzes all the important files of Windows on your computer and replace if necessary.
Missing and the corruption of the operating system (like many DLLs) files are probably the main cause of the major problems of Windows. In view of this, plus the fact that the SFC/scannow is completely automatic and very easy to use, the tool should be usually one of your top not troubleshooting.

  • Some IPSec sessions associated with tunnel stop working

    Hello

Since I left an IPSec tunnel a router IOS to a Version running 3020 4.1.7.E there was a strange situation with a tunnel to a VPN Checkpoint 4.1: Tunnel get no problem but various IPSec sessions disappear with the only way to reset the being of "disconnection" (dixit the Sessions ' administer') whole tunnel can discuss again with interesting traffic. Example:

    -VPN 1 with 3 Sessions IPSec 172.1.30.x, 89.170.11.x and 192.168.3.x

-Interesting traffic for each creates an IPsec session for each that can be viewed in the monitor or administer the Sessions

-Suddenly, none of the specific time intervals the sessions 89.170.11.x and 192.168.3.x IPSec disappear from the sessions administer and cannot be used until the entire VPN tunnel is reset, then traffic does what it is supposed to and show all the necessary IPSec sessions.

-It is not the case that the timeout of sessions has lost because they can be used in when it happens

All the world faced a similar situation?

I can't restrict logging to a counterpart to activate useful debugging - we have a number of LAN-to-LAN tunnels and quite a few customers. Can someone help me in this respect?

I do not give the Checkpoint but can pass on ideas to those that do, if anyone has any.

If I need to provide more information tell me what you need.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

  • Restart VCS without session disconnection?

Is it possible to ensure that I can restart my sight connection to the server without causing my client sessions disconnect?

    -Gunnar

Right - I figured this out.  The parameter is NOT the global setting, I did reference.  It's purely for the initial connection view client to server before the actual creation of the session.

The desired setting is under configuration, servers - change the settings of the server down and tick the box enable "direct connections on the desktop.  Just tested with RDP and PCoIP and works a treat.  Session remains open if I restart the management server connection.

  • New session started with an advertising page and all my tabs are lost

New session started with an advertising page and all my tabs are lost. Restore the previous session is not active. How can I restore my tabs?

    Great work!

Sessionstore.bak files are ancient, probably autour time that you have installed Firefox 33 when the sessionstore-backup folder has been added.

To try using one or more files in the sessionstore-backup folder, here is the process:

    (1) exit Firefox and it must create a sessionstore.js from the main level of the profile folder file.

    (2) rename sessionstore.js to sessionstore.old file, or if you think that you will ever need, delete it.

    (3) copy in recovery.js or previous.js and rename sessionstore.js.

    (4) start Firefox then try to restore previous Session. Those are the tabs you want? If this isn't the case, you can try one of the other files in your backup sessionstore-backup.

If none of the files has the missing tabs, you could try a recent Windows restore point. It's more complicated on Windows 8 on Windows 7, and you could benefit from using a third-party utility. These have been mentioned in another thread:

Or... I read on a roundabout way to get previous Versions on the Properties dialog box in Windows 8. I can't test it myself, but here's what you do:

In the address bar of your Windows Explorer dialog box, replace the current path with the following and press ENTER:

    \\localhost\c$

Then click at the end and nail on the following (with your user name) and press ENTER:

    \Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles

That should help you in the vicinity of your profile folder. Then you can right-click sessionstore.js > properties > Previous Versions, or try one of the files in sessionstore-backups.

I have Windows XP Media Center Edition Version 2002 with Service Pack 3 and I tried to run Media Center but I get an error message with ehshell.exe. Could you help me?

This problem exists since the 1st Media Center. SP2 and SP3 had a difficulty, but it is obvious that it doesn't always. The same problem still exists in Vista today with a lot of other carried over from XP. System restore would work, but you do not have any good restore points so reinstall an operating system seems to be your only option.

You probably don't want to do an OS reinstall you need for Media Center, but since it does not at all, you might want to play then remove the Media Center updates and or SP3 and reinstall them.

  • Problem with av.exe; process will be not open.

I want to open by saying that I know it was stupid of me to try to solve this problem without consulting others.

In any case, my computer is infected with av.exe.  I tried to run the two Avast! Antivirus and Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, but he diverted their windows, so I couldn't run them.  At this point, I realized that I could put the av.exe task manager end process and did so; However, he would not reopen whenever I opened a new process.  In the Task Manager, I clicked av.exe, went to properties, then security.  The program has settings irremovable Allow "Full control", "Edit", "Read", "Write", and "reading & run", under all the three accounts listed: SYSTEM owner (user account) and administrator.  I tried to reduce to nil the threat by adding permissions denied to all these (it was, and by far the most stupid thing, I think).

In a sense, it worked; AV.exe is unable to start.  However, the computer tries always run every time I try a new process and since av.exe will not start, nor will any other process, including Windows Explorer and system restore.  'Run' still works and I can use it to access the command prompt, but other that that, I am limited to what I've already opened: Mozilla Firefox, Windows Live Messenger and the Task Manager.

I'm quite frustrated, and I wouldn't rather fiddle around with anything without notice.  Ideas, another that does not try to bump things?
