  We have recently upgraded to RH6 and its version control. (I guess that version control is the reason why I can't rename my project).
  However, the technology installed RH6 put the side Server and local project on my PC and he asks questions. One is that the name of the project server matches the local copy is no longer and it seems to be confusing for other people in the office. And the second, is that I can't rename my project at all. I need to be able to rename the project at the end of each month with the current month in the name.
  UH... does make sense? If so, is - anyone can suggest a solution?

  Sounds like 'the tech installed RH6' needs to rectify this point; It does seem like an HR issue.

  In addition, if you're going to be rename project every month, why even bother with the source code control? I think you would be better served simply copy your source for folders separated for each month and get back up daily or weekly.

  You can rename a bookmark in bookmarks (library) Manager in the details pane lower right, after selecting a bookmark.

  You can also do it in the bookmarks bar (view > sidebar) through the context menu > properties.

  "Bookmarks > organize bookmarks ' has been renamed to"show all bookmarks"in Firefox 4 and later versions.

  OK, I fixed it.  I did go in safe mode, go to documents, right-click on the file, select Properties, security, advanced, owner and change the owner.  And that's all.

  They don't call me computer Rod for nothing!

  I rename a directory of Windows and now all of the previous content are missing.  I need suggestions on how to recover.

  Background:

  My machine runs on Win7 x 64.  The "Downloads" folder under my profile of the user (C:\Users\Brian\Downloads) had been innaccesible for many months.  When I try to open, that it does not open and, possibly, the time-out.   I could see the content when you browse the directory in a shell.  As a work-around to access the content via a command prompt I moved all the files/directories in a new directory that I named "downloads" in the folder My Documents (C:\Users\Brian\Documents\downloads).   All files are installed perfectly (about 9 GB) and I could see all the files in the new profile of downloads (C:\Users\Brian\Documents\downloads).  Then I renamed the «_downloads» download folder

  When I open the _downloads file then all files were missing!  The directory is now completely empty.

  I tried two programs of recovery of files (NTFS Undelete and Piriform Recuva) without success.   I haven't restarted the computer.  I read that a possible solution would be to rename the original name 'downloads' folder, but I didn't yet.

  Any suggestions on next steps?

  CHKDSK may be able to solve this problem, but be aware that there is always a risk of data loss when chkdsk is run, it is advisable to start on a clone rather than the original disk where the files are stored.

• 'File name' is locked for editing by 'Client', why not show the correct user account

  A .xls file created by MS Excel 2003 and saved on the server files (Windows Server 2008 R2 without Service Pack).

  We have two users: A and c. accounts of A and C join same above file server's domain. A approval of the admin on the server, C is a common user. The version of MS Excel on the pc is 2010, although it is 2003 for C.

  C tries to open a file on the server and it has the change permission on the file and the file, however, the file is locked for editing by 'administrator '. For the moment, no one opens this file, so which is 'Administrator'?

  More tests:

  (1) once A open file C is reached, there is message: file is locked for editing by 'Client', so why shows 'Client' instead of a correct domain account?

  (2) after C opens the file and then A is reached, there is message: file is locked for a domain C user account. So it seems OK.

  I bought this computer by a previous owner.  And his name still be on this folder of the user.  When I right click on the file to rename, Rename option is not displayed.  (Content in this folder are all my personal files). I am registered as an administrator and the single user account is the only one with my name.  Also, my computer name is listed under my name. Can someone please help me understand why Windows Vista won't let me not rename this user folder?  Thank you.

  You cannot rename the user folder because you have already connected (only administrator account) and the account is currently in use.

• Why so long?

  Hi all. I hope that I am not posting this in the wrong forum. I'm new here.

  My question is this: why does take so long to get a license/link to download the trial of VSphere 5? I am studying for certification VCP 5 and recently crossed the process to get the trial version of VSphere 5, but every time I check all my reviews, I have never seen is "Coming Soon." If I try and download the product, I get a message from a license key is being developed. I've been waited more than a week to be able to simply download the software.

  Now, I understand that a week is not much time, BUT in this era of instant downloads, a week just for a download of the demo seems just right, stupid. I was able to download VMWare Workstation 9 and launch the installation in 15 minutes. Why the VSphere is so different? Why can not simply receive us a demo license immediately, as the download of workstation?

  If anyone has any idea to ease my frustration, I would be very grateful.

• An asynchronous call - why so long?

  I have a window that comes and goes, during the operation of the program.

  This window has 72 sub-panels, each containing a retractable VI even copy for a "block".  I insert the VI in the secondary and then to run the VI with a call CALL and FORGET.

  When the user closed the window, the entire block live end, and the window closes.  I don't care if the closing backstage going again after the window disappears.

  But when the user leaves the program, with this window to the top, I need to make sure that the block screws have completed before I stop other things (close files, etc.).

  To this end, I changed the CALL and FORGET a CALL and operation COLLECT and installed a WAIT on ASYNCHRONOUS CALL to each instance at the end of the code window.  It is after the blocks have been ordered to die (via an event).

  I see the debug file (a part is represented) to about 1000 milliseconds to wait for all instances to die.

  

  The thing is, if I change to "0" to "1000", then what I expected, it is that the actual waiting time would< 100="">

  My thought is that during this timed wait blocks could die anyway, it would take less time to actually wait on them.

  But when I do that, nothing really changes.  Registered time is always above 1000 mSec.

  If I limit the number of blocks to 12, the time is 97 mSec, to 24, is 185, for 36, is 576 and so on - it is proportional to number of blocks.

  So, what is really?  If he waits just things die, why the timed wait does not affect the numbers?

  I initially (when I used CALL and FORGET) kept track of how many were opened and how much were closed and waited for that becomes zero, but it is a cleaner way to do it, at least in theory.

  Am I missing something?

  This occurs intermittently in many places.

  1 copy the files and songs (mp3) directly on the device using Windows Explorer in Windows 7 Pro.

  2. check the folders and songs appear as they should (using Windows Explorer).

  3 unplug the unit and let it cool off.

  4 browse music on the device, and Note Renaming wandering some songs and records.

  5. reconnect the device to the computer via the USB port.

  6. check with the Windows Explorer that stray names are there as previously played on the device, and NOT what I put there.

  How to stop?

  It is a Zip Sansa Clip 8 GB with a SanDisk 32 GB microSDHC Mobile extra card and using Windows 7 Pro.

  Turn the player in MSC mode. It is in the Control Panel, USB mode.

  when im trying to rename a folder and I type a name, it always comes back to 'New folder' and when I go into the properties and I uncheck the box of blue saying read only and I click on apply it does not help then when I go into properties to new playback only box is checked.  I have the security defined for total control and I am the administrater account but I won't yet let me rename it. • Automatic update of Windows Vista (SP2) stuck on 13 06:24 hours. Why do long?

  I went to close my PC (Vista SP2).  Ago automatically updates waiting for loading.  Off, the PC shows that there are 24 updates to download and do NOT close or disconnect my PC.  After six hours, he is still blocked in 13 of the 24 updates of loading.  It seems stuck.  I'm afraid that I may damage if I unplug and make a hard stop.  Why is it so much to take?
