  So, just to be sure (I'm sure you did that... but please indulge me), you have devoted to the application of sounds (whether through the icon on the home screen or the "speaker" below the power indicator of battery in portrait screen mode button) and choose ' Set Ring Tones/alerts. You have selected 'Messages' and then selected the Email line associated with your Yahoo! mail account BIS. Then you define 'Volume' to 'Silent', 'LED' on 'Off' and 'Vibration' to 'Off '. And you did for each line item in the section "Messages" from this screen. Right?

  If so, then it looks like you have what I like to call 'strange behaviour' of the storm. And the first normal cure is hard reboot battery-pop. With the power of the appliance, remove the back cover and pull the battery. Wait for about a minute then reinsert the battery and replace the cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long long long restart the process (perhaps as long as 10 minutes). See if the strange behavior ceases. Like all computers, the Storm has to reset... and there is a thread on this forum recommends to every four days.

  For some reason any starting today, I just noticed that I can not switch on customized on my Apple Watch calendar alerts.  When I set it to 'Custom' instead of 'Mirror my iPhone', the button "View alerts" is green, but all the other calendar settings are turned to "Off" and when I go to turn it on, it's like the button to toggle them is stuck and won't turn on.   It can help to choose my iPhone mirror. Depending on the configuration of your iPhone, your watch can then provide calendar with audio and vibration alerts (even if the vibration is not included in your iPhone for the calendar notification settings).

  Also check your settings of the iPhone for each type of notification of calendar:

  -On your iPhone, go to: settings > Notifications > calendar.

  -Enable all options for each type of alert, including the choice of a sound (although this will not change the type of sounds on Apple Watch).

  It is not a native function, so it is probably a part of 3:rd application that you have downloaded.

  Cerberus seems to have this feature, for example: http://www.androidwearapps.org/2015/03/cerberus-anti-theft-added-support-for.html and I also saw in some other forums as watchmaker seems to have this feature. I haven't checked all the apps that you have, so it could be several applications that has this.

• Crush the ringing at random

  Anyone has an idea why my Crush vibrated for about 3/4 of a second intermittently. I have disabled all types of notifications of alerts/calls vibrate and still probably 10 to 12 times per hour, it vibrates. I went through all the settings and there no notifications are defined to be awakened, I checked and there is no waiting voice messages, text, or photos pending. I'm stumped on this one. I might have to bring the phone to US Cellular for them to inspect and replace if necessary.

  Hello people! I just took the Motorola Droid this weekend and I'm having a problem with something... so here and I hope someone can help me with this question:

  While my phone is on vibrate, how is it that whenever I get a new SMS, gmail or facebook to update my phone only vibrates? All I get is a flashing that lets me know I have a new text or e-mail, but other than the light, there is no way for me to know that I have a new message.

  If my phone vibrate and someone calls me, the phone starts vibrating... but not when I get new messages... as I said, on the phone light will start to blink, but the phone vibrates to let me know I have a new message.

  I don't understand.. with my old phone (travel) when it has been set to "Vibrate" mode, the phone vibrated both when I received a call or SMS, but not my Droid. I looked in the 'manual' together and I wasn't able to find anything about alert messages and how to set up different types of notifications. So right now, I'm stuck looking at my phone from time to time to see if I have new messages. I received some messages while I got the phone on vibrate attached to my waist and I didn't know people had texted me because there was no sound or vibration notification type.

  Anyone has an idea how to set up the phone vibrates when receiving new messages when the phone is on "vibrate"?

  under the settings of your email (I use gmail), there is a setting to vibrate when the message or something like that. and should be somehting similar to your e-mail. If these values are defined, then it still vibrates when a text or an e-mail arrives that you are on silent or not.

  Hi all!

  This problem lasts for at least a month now, so I figure it's high time to ask about it. Several weeks back my iPhone 4 has stopped to give me a new email alerts. I have all my accounts the value 'Badges, sounds and alerts.  I get the sound / vibrate when I get a new email but I DO NOT get an alert box. It was always nice to get a glimpse of emails and I want to come back.

  Of course, I receive pushed emails I get sound. Anyone has any ideas on where to go from here? The problem persists after a reboot.

  Are you referring to something like a snooze option? I've not seen a reminder have this option, except to set once again. Otherwise there would be a badge on the reminders application icon, but that does not give you an extra noise/vibration.

  Have you tried to change the ringtone in the sounds? Try using set a different ringtone temporarily.
