• How can I upgrade any OS other than El Capitan?

  I'm currently under Snow Leopard and have not had a problem... until Apple has decided to update my iPhone... now it won't sync with my iMac because the OS is obsolete. Ok..  whatever... but the only available upgrade is at El Capitan.  My iMac is too old to upgrade to El Capitan, but it should be ok for other versions of the OS. Other versions are not on the app store... someone has any suggestions other than buying a new iMac (I refuse to do).  Apple has been so good, but lately I'm losing faith.

  If your Mac is too old for El Capitan, then its too old for anything else except Lion.  Nothing after the Lion has the same system requirements as El Capitan. 4 OS versions so far, which have not changed the system requirements.

  But to be sure, what exact model, year of iMac do you have?

• We move license to a group of servers in Coldfusion 5, but it seems that Adobe no longer has the media so that we do this movement.  Any ideas (other than buying new)?

  My company has three licenses of ColdFusion (very old) V5 Server license.  We want to move the product to a new group of servers but are unable to get support to install it on the new servers.  I asked what adobe so they could provide it but the oldest available was V7.  Anyone have any ideas on how we can locate the media so that we can move to our new servers?  Our last ditch option is to buy a new one and examine old licenses without value.

• 8620 print any materials other than test page

  Hi all

  Just hung up a 8620 on wireless and everything communicates and the printer test pages work fine. The question cannot print other documents, it goes to the printer says print then does not. It's with anything other than diagnostic pages printed from HP or coil the printer test page.

  It shows in the coil and then disappears, never to be printed. I signed up for ink instant is this cause a problem? This shouldn't be something I need to go into windows to repair. I ran the fix HP software that it says that the printer is not yet on the network, but prints the test pages, as is recognized by all programs. Printer is set as default as well printer. May need to return this thing, I need it for my business and my other printer never had these problems. It's instant ink which was interesting for me.

  San,

  It depends on exactly what you are trying to customize, but generally, you want to use Siebel tools.  There are many inter relationships, dependencies, etc that will keep the tools.  Also use other things that tools to customize based repository (namely the .srf) customizations is not supported and might cause you some major headaches.

• BlackBerry Smartphones video / Audio Out of sync

  I have a BB9650 with 5.0 o/s.  The only problem is when I play videos the real Visual and audio are not synchronized.  Complete the part of the video and the audio ends then.  On long videos, this can be important.  I reloaded the video using Desktop Manager and it still does not work.  I will NOT use 6 o/s because it's a bad operating system, using more than 50% of the RAM and slow down my BB so it crashes all the time.

  I appreciate any help anyone can provide.

  If the file is a supported format try to remove the file from the device and then use "Mass storage Mode" and copy the file on the memory card and the test.

• Video / Audio Out of Sync - export

  Greetings,

  I read in these forums for over a week now and I can't seem to fix my problem, so I decided to try something myself.
  My question is this:

  -After creating a sequence and exporting in x 264 format, which corresponds to of the source medium (CBR, codec is not serious, he tried with several), it seems that my sound and/or video is desyncing.

  I export in CBR while there should be no fluctuation of flow, but it seems that when the video is still standing for a while, say a loading screen, it gets shortened considerably and so the video runs in front of the audio.

  This effect occurs not matter what I do. I tried a clean install, remove scratch files, clear the cache of media, etc.
  The problem does NOT occur on Sony Vegas or even Windows Movie Maker.

  It seems as if support screens still just gets their duration reduced, which doesn't make much sense.
  Since I am absolutely ideas on what could cause this, I hope you guys can help me.

  Just to clarify the problem, the video runs faster than the audio. No matter if CBR or VBR, same as FPS source.

  An absolutely horrible solution to this problem.
  I leave Handbrake handle the file to convert the VBR to CBR (because the handbrake is great), so I can import without any problem in Adobe Premiere without the video running too fast.

• Satellite A105-S4064 - need drivers XP for LAN, video, Audio

  I recently had to do a clean install of my Satellite A105-S4064 and have had problems to get the right drivers for it.

  On the Toshiba site, it lists only 4 drivers for XP for my model, even if that's what it came installed with. The video driver list and sound do not yet work for me.

  I need drivers for the modem, LAN, video, Audio, please.

  Any help would be a great help!

  At the moment the page provides a display driver nVidia GeForce (v83.02, 19/01/2006)

  I also found a driver of his right. It s a Realtek audio driver.
  If you need a more recent version, then I recommend to visit the site Web of Realtek and download the newest one.

  But note; the XP SP2 operating system needs and before install you the audio driver you must first install the Microsoft Hotfixes; KB888111 and KB835221
  After the installation of these two patches, you can follow with another audio driver installation.

  It also seems that this notebook would support an Intel PRO/100 VE Network Connection - 10/100 Base-TX Lan card
  So, you can visit the Intel page to get the right Win XP driver for this Lan chip.

• Windows Media Player 12 - no video, audio playback only

  I am running Windows 7 Ultimate (clean install) and will have issues playing any media in Media Player 12, which includes the video. For example, when I look in the library, I see the "Wildlife in HD" file (this is a .wmv) that is installed on my system. When I play the file, it starts without error but I can't hear the audio file, there is no image at all. If I play this file in Media Center, it plays perfectly. I have the same thing happen with the Landscapes.wtv file that the cam installed on my system. He plays in Media Center perfectly but I can't hear the Audio in Media Player.

  I tried to remove and reinstall (using Add/Remove windows components) without modification. I clicked these types of files and used the default program choose and set Media Player, also no change. Right now the Media Player is only a music player. However, there is no problem to play .mp3 .wav. ect.

  For now, I use VLC to play these file types, but it's annoying to have a $300 more operating system and for it to be so horribly broken.

  If you can give advice or solutions, I'm all ears.

  I have a possible solution, if you are running an NVIDIA GPU. I found that in the "Video color settings" Panel I had deselect the option use the NVIDIA control panel color settings. Media Player and Media Center work very well for me now. I don't know if it has made all the difference, or have had an impact, but I'm also using Spyder3 on my machine, for photo work.

• No audio and error bad Sfc.exe after the recent update of Windows

• Importing video, audio is fine at the beginning but the audio desync later vid.  Audio is very well during playback with VLC/Quicktime

  Use of elements 13 trial on mac first.  An imported video - audio synchronized to the top at first but later in the video, the audio is far away.  There are some quiet parts so I can't say exactly when the audio desync.  Played in VLC/Quicktime, audio is perfect all the way through, there seems to be a bug in first.

  Any advice?

  Searched the forum for other solutions since handbreak is always hours of late.

  "Interpret video" with fixed framerate seemed to handle the audio track somehow, but it's still desynced.

  BUT

  Oddly, replacing the extension of the source file to .mpg .mp4 seems to remedy.  Would be nice if the first can handle this automatically, but it's a pretty easy fix.
