  So I recently got this Dell OptiPlex 760 desktop form factor that I really like and I would get a video card for it.

  It fits into all THE MODELS except the USFF because USFF has no slots.  You will need to remove the flange size and use the version of low profile.

  I'm new here and that you have already looked for solutions.  I bought new in June 2012 with card mother MSI MS-7778-Jasmine, image AMD A10-5700, 10 MB of ram and Windows 7 64-bit Office P7-1240.  I am trying to install a graphics card, so my son can play games it must currently play on low resolution using the integrated graphics card.

  I have updated my 600 Watt Corsair PSU and tried GTX 750 Ti and cards GTX-660 without success (the computer does not start after the HP splash screen).  I have also tried to map AMD Radeon R7-265 but couldn't even boot to the HP splash screen.  If I understand correctly, HP offers no updated BIOS for Windows 7 (I read here that a guy has loaded an update of the BIOS for Windows 8 on his machine to Windows 7 and it worked, but I'm too chicken to try it).

  I just put this issue to rest.  So my question is simply this: does anyone know of a series of graphics cards that will work certainly OUT-OF-THE-BOX in my machine with the slot of the BIOS and PCI - Exp 16 Gen 2 stock?  I'll try a 500-series GTX card then.  But I wanted to get some advice first, because I won't be able to return it if it does not work.

  Hi GBaksh,

  The problem looks like a bug of AMD Vision Engine Control Center.  You could search the Internet by using the error message and see what you find.  I don't know if the AMD software will uninstall without the adapter being active which means remove the NVIDIA 750 and reboot and then go into Control Panel - programs and remove the AMD software. I've seen this sort of thing happens in the past on my HP e9280t using the ATI 4850 and AMD CCC software but this is a rare situation.  You can give it a try.  I do not use the AMD products that much so I can't say with certainty what is the shortest path to success.

I went to my Apple TV to see it, thinking that it is now classified as a rental on my account. No luck. I see no way to make it visible on my Apple TV. Can someone tell me please how to access my Apple TV rental?

  You must use home sharing (and access to the title of the app to computers) or AirPlay for broadcast on the ATV. It's not a purchase, it is not available in the cloud.

  I'm looking to upgrade my p6213w integrated to a PCI-Express x 16 GTS 250 video card video graphics. I have already updated to an Antec TP-550 power supply, anyone have suggestions on which GTS 250 fits on the card mother p6213w? Or has someone already updated their HP Pavilion p6213w with a video card PCI-Express x 16 and if so... one that adapts (brand, model, etc).

  I couldn't find all the steps for the PNY graphics card.  However, the XFX GTS 250 1 GB is 9.0 "x 4,367 x 1.5".  It's a double profile (two locations).  You can measure the space for the card.  Measure from the inside edge of the case across the motherboard where the PCIE x 16 slot.  It is the approximate length of the card that fits.  You must be certain that a card double profile will fit, too.

  Yes, PCI Express x 16 2.0 is backward compatible.  Therefore, it works perfectly.  The power supply unit (PSU) in the computer is 300W.  You need to make sure that the video card requires more power.  Most of the cards need at least more recent mid-level 400W to work properly.

  I have a HP Touchsmart 520-1070 with an AMD RADEON HD 6450 A graphics card. I'm not too good with technical stuff, and when I bought this PC I was told that it would be perfectly fine any game. However, when I tried to download some of the popular games and play them on my PC as it is today, with the THIEF, what I discovered was that this computer was great, except that a single card video.   What I'm saying is, you can't buy a standard PCI Express x 16 video card, for example, the R9 from AMD.  It should be a card MXM Mobile, as stated in my previous post.  I wasn't able to find a map that shows the specifications shown, however.  They are not readily available.  To be honest, I'm not sure that an upgrade would allow you to play the games you mentioned.

  To be clear on terminology, your model is a Small Form Factor, SFF (the tower is a different model).

  7750 is the best graphics card available (a 6670 also works, but has worst heat and lower performance). You will need a low card profile, and measure the length available, as it will be too tight. Get the one with the biggest fan, it will cool better with less noise. The PSU is a custom size and not easy to upgrade.

  I use AMD Catalyst 13.4, it is solid. Monitor system and GPU time during the game, you may need to remove the cover from the pci beside the GPU for ventilation slot.

  Be the latest updates of BIOS, Lenovo and MSFT.

  The TI 750 will not harm your diet or your portfolio. The R7 250 is $99 and the 750 TI is $ 139. It is in the middle between the really cheap and good performance.

  I saw the specifications of your computer.  He has only two PCI Express X 16 slots for video cards. one is available.  There are three ways that you can go: 1) buy another video card to fill the vacant unit 2) buy a USB video adapter or 3) buy a nVidia Quadro or another workstation that supports multiple video cards.

  You should make sure that the power supply unit (PSU) has enough power to run two or more cards.
