video display on SD via computer problems

I'm trying to copy a video from my sd card on my computer.  I already copied the pictures more successfully, except that the video does not appear on the sd card on the computer. I can watch the video on the camera, but it does not appear in the folder dcim on the computer.  Can anyone suggest a way to copy it on?  My friend has used its sd card in the computer, and he managed to copy on his videos.    Thanks for your help.  Jaclyn

It becomes a certain mystery...

Even if your computer can't play the video I
think you could at least copy the file to a
folder on your hard drive.

There is a sample AVCHD - MTS video clip you
is downloadable from the following site. To the right
Click on the name of the file and choose... Save target as.

It would be interesting to see if you could download
and read this file. (I noticed that the camera also records
in the QuickTime. Format MOV... have you tried?)

It may be interesting to try to download and install one or
both the freeware following media players:

  • Satellite L650 - 1 MM-video display problem

    Greetings from Finland.

So, about a month I bought this laptop of mine, Satellite L650 - 1 MM, and I was wondering what the heck is the problem with the video display. Don't know about you is this a problem with the hardware or just something with the settings on the computer. I mean, even on youtube, that so I got pixelated image when I look at some 720 p HD videofootage, it hurts. Here's some evidence: [http://img822.imageshack.us/img822/6623/youtubena.jpg] and Yes, I got the last Flash Player plug-ins and everything, so it couldn't be her.

And perhaps, eventually, when I look at some * movies, series tv or something, they looke all so pixelated. And I know that there are codecs and everything, but I'm positive, I got all this managed. In fact, at the beginning I had the worst of the video display, but with the codecs I got a little better. Yet, I am far from satisfied. Now, I heard that there could be some problems with Windows 7 and display video, but you know, is not certain.

So basically I'm here to exclude the possibility that there could be some problems with the equipment. Could there be? The screen looks fine, when normally at idle and for example surf the net, but the streaming videos or watch videos, oh man, oh man, it's so pixelated. I have the latest Toshiba display drivers, BIOS drivers too. It would be any help, if I have the latest drivers directly from the AMD website (Ati Mobility Radeon HD 5650)? Does still? I mean when Toshiba updates their own display drivers and everything, and very rarely what I heard.

Here are my features of laptops:
    Satellite L650 - 1 MM
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit
    BIOS-version 1.80
    Intel Core i5 CPU M460 @ 2.53 GHz
    4096 MB RAM
    HARD DRIVE ~ 600 GB
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 version = 8.723.2.0
    15 "6, 1366 x 768
    True color (32 bit)
Conexant Audio Driver for AMD HDMI Codec version = 4.98.26.0

So please, if there is any suspicion you can give me, I would much appreciate it!

    Ed.
Also, just remembered, that I had one more problem. When connecting HDMI to my HDTV 40 ", and when I close the screen of my laptop, the sound starts to bug and in some cases video too. So I have to keep my laptop open screen, so I can watch movies without any problem sound or video. What is with that?

    Hi mate

To be honest, I don't think that it is a problem of display driver.
You have this problem of pixel, I look at the videos of internet only or also if watch you DVD movies?

Did you watch the video in continuous mode full screen?

The videos are usually pixeled because of videos were recorded in low resolution or have been compressed to reduce the resolution to reduce the size of the file.

  • Display/video for windows 8 pro driver problem

I use a HP pavilion dv6000 series, model 6602au. Last month, I installed windows 8 pro. Everything works well except the video display driver. I tried to update the driver through the Device Manager, but its display dirver is up tp date. I'm not motion pictures or text as clear as my Windows vista or windows 7. Can u please give me the link to install necessary driver or please give me a necessary solution. Thanks in advance.

    Hello:

Here's what I would like you to try...

Download and run the vista driver support for your laptop and driver, page on the link below.

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/WC/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-70238-2&CC=US&DLC=en&LC=en&os=2093&Product=3543711&sw_lang=

Don't worry if it errors out or do not install...

Now, close out of all windows error and go to Device Manager.  Under the section display maps, click on the video controller.

    Click the driver tab.

Click on set to update driver.

Select the 'Browse my computer for software' and navigate to the driver installation folder that was created when you ran the file.

This file will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp42635.

Make sure that the include subfolders is selected, and I hope that the driver will be installed.

Reboot and you should have decent graphics card again.

  • GRIMBOT webmail I lost functions like delete button and light the contents of the Inbox. It is a computer problem, all three of my browsers have the same problem

Web mail indicates it has mail in my Inbox... but it does not show in the display. I pour the contents in the trash to read the mail.

I lost the function of the button Delete... I have to use the button remove on my keyboard

This problem occurred after I installed several plugins to download youtube videos. I disabled the plugins... I deleted Firefox and reinstalled... no change.

This problem also occurs with IE and Chrome. I guess that's a computer problem.
I confirmed that I have the latest flash installed and running on my computer

Start the computer in Mode safe mode with network support Windows (on the startup screen, press F8) as a test to see if that helps.

  • All of a sudden my pictures folders are now all show in Windows Media Player and I can't open each photo in full screen, but only in the video display mode.

All of a sudden my pictures folders are now all show in Windows Media Player and I can't open each photo in full screen, but only in the video display mode.   When I go to my pictures and choose view as thumbnails, that's fine, but when I click on the individual photo, it shows on the screen no video not in mode full screen and I can't move the photo to the photo without closing the video screen.  How can I get my pictures on Windows Media Player?

This problem has now been resolved.  I went in my computer > tools > Folder Options > file Type, select the type of file and clicked on advanced then > change and changed back to Windows Picture and Fax Viewer in Windows Media Player.  I had the idea of a response posted on this forum about a different issue, but who pointed me in the right direction.

  • How can I change the video display Mode when the monitor mode not supported?

While creating my new monitor, I changed the computer video display mode at 120 Hz by accident.  Now I see something on the monitor other than the words not taken in CHARGE the MODE.

My system is a new HP Pavilion p7-1423W running Windows 8.1 with Intel i5-2320 3 ghz

I tried the start mode by pressing ESC on power but do not help the startup options.  And the just F11 menu option makes the startup screen disapear and puts the monitor mode not supported.  Tapping F8 doen't work and tapping F12 just puts me in the bios menus that do not help.

How can I upgrade the video card integrated with a video mode that is supported when I can't see the screen?

I answer my own question because I found my solution, thanks to my grandson (freshman to Renselear Politech).

I shoot to buy a monitor that displays a refresh rate of 120, so I could put my rear view.

    Here is the solution.

My computer double exit DVI.  My grandson told me to connect my new monitor to the other output because the output does not get touched when I changed the original mode of production.  He has worked and is automatically selects the default monitors mode.  Then I've reconfigured the original output using the integrated display software. Solved!

  • Constantly reloading the video/display drivers

"New hardware found" retains detect it and I have to reload the drivers, even if I have done several times (he seems to forget them as well. Strangely, this doesn't happens whenever I start, just most of the time. It's a pain. Any suggestions?

    Thank you very much

    Ian

I think that your video hardware is on the output path, if it is onboard video and you have a desktop pc, then you could buy a video card to work around the problem, you may need to change a bios setting - first PCI and you must make sure that the pci slot is dust free. If you already have a video card, it may be necessary to clean and put it back - if she has a fan make sure it is not clogged by dust and have a good look at the contacts in the fire to make sure they are clean. The video card has ram on board and is sensative static so a bracelet is a good idea or you can hold the chassis case a static load leveling. Make sure you remove the power cable before you begin.

  • How to "Windows did not start because of a configuration of the disk of the computer problem. Could not read the selected startup disk... "on a netbook without a CD/disk drive?

I did a lot of research and unfortunately havnt found a road toward the front of the detroit to a fix. Long story short... I installed Jolicloud as a dual boot with windows xp on netbook gateway of my wife. This netbook has no cd/dvd drive. Jolicloud wanted to screw up the startup option to not allow me to boot into windows, going Strait to jolicloud without option of windows. I tried to change it via the "menu.lst" and Grub.cfg file (I think) the only value I changed was I think 'boot... ". ' value between 1 and 2. When I restarted, then finally got a startup list (although I don't think that my modification of the value gave me the list, I had already installed manually "Grub" via the cmd prompt. I should have just restarted from there without changing anything else... because when I chose 'windows xp' in the start menu... He gave me a black screen and kept going back to the start menu. Then, I tried the "Vista loader" option... hoping that it would some how solve my problem... He asked me if I wanted to run a repair any. I agree with him and when he finished he told me that there is no enough space on the hard disk to copy the files (or something like that) then it froze kind of there. I had to do a hard reboot after that that it froze, then I got the code "Windows did not start because of a computer disk configuration problem. Could not read from the selected boot disk.  check the hardware path and startup disk, please check the windows documentation about hardware disk configuration and your hardware for more information reference manuals.

Again, I have no drive cd/dvd on a netbook... IM assuming that im going to have to return a key USB with windows boot info to load the Manu F2 at startup... But I do not know... Help, please. Thank you

  • Increase video memory dedicated for my computer...

Hi, my computer is a Windows Vista Ultimate, Intel Core to Duo T7700 2.4 GHz, 4 GB of RAM, 2 GB of RAM, blah blah blah, video Total rest is not necessary.

Anyway, I wanted to know how to increase my DEDICATED VIDEO RAM, not the total. Currently, my dedicated video memory is sitting up to 256 MB, which means approximately 1.74 GB of video RAM is not used (supposedly).
I tried everything to my Start menu to enter the "BIOS", which everyone says is the way to change the dedicated video memory. Unfortunately, the BIOS does not turn upward anywhere and I can't find another way to change the dedicated video memory.
What is the easiest or more simplified to change my dedicated video memory? Or I do something wrong?
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
P.S. I use my computer to play various games (that you might have supposed), but I have played games that require more dedicated video RAM to display for my computer, for example 512 MB, while I have 256 MB, as mentioned previously. The games work well and generally smooth. Is it just because of the CPU or is my video memory dedicated, is actually just a mask for the amount of RAM? Or maybe something else?

  • Remote Desktop is designed to help users to solve their computer problems?

Is it a good tool to use to help other users with computers there are problems?

    Hello

Remote Desktop connection is a technology that allows you to sit in front of a computer (sometimes called the client computer) and connect to a remote computer (called the host computer) in a different location. For example, you can connect your computer to work from your home computer and have access to all of your programs, files, and network resources as if you were in front of your computer at work. You can leave programs running at work and then, when you get back, you can see the desktop of your computer work displayed on your computer at home, with the same programs running.

    Remote assistance:
When you encounter a computer problem, you sometimes can help someone else. You can use Windows Remote Assistance to invite someone to connect to your computer and help you, even if that person isn't nearby. (Make sure you only ask someone that you trust, because the other person will have access to your files and personal information.) Once connected, the other person can view your computer screen and chat with you everything you see. With your permission, your helper can use his mouse and keyboard to control your computer and show you how to solve a problem. You can also help someone else the same way. This technology is called Remote Assistance.

  • I need the video/display drivers for my Dell Inspiron 6000 with Windows 8.

I need the video/display drivers for my Dell Inspiron 6000 with Windows 8.  Laptop is the Intel Pentium M processor 2.00 GHz RAM, operating system, 32-bit on x 86.  My resolution is not at the right level and videos have hard play.

    1 https://support.dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/kcs/document?c=us&l=en&s=gen&docid=DSN_179256&isLegacy=true#Issue5
Reconstructions of Dell should be loaded in a particular order until the drivers are installed, that is to say the controllers then the drivers for the chipset and resolution etc. They are specific to this.
    then;
2 CharlesGrimes comment '... ". searching on my computer for the Dell under the old windows files and the old drivers were loaded. "I had tried this but not good. So went into a ghost of Dell image when the resolution was good on Win7, recovered files in windows/System32, which has old drivers. Does the update in graphic cards [Device Manager] driver and manually looked through above the files recovered from previous instal win7 and YES they charge this time.
Oh what a relief to have a higher resolution. Experience had taught me how snappy Win8 is, I picked up a shortened bunch of ways to circumvent the operating system, and it is growing on me. WIN8 Pro works best on this old machine than its original Home XP and Win7.
Thank you Carlos and others for your info that led to my positive resolution.
