Video effects in flicker to export nested sequences

I nested content in a sequence. When I export I get flicker at a time where I added an effect.  I used warp stabilizer and opacity masking and both produced sparkling in the finished coating.  When I add the effect of nested track video, while it is not nested and then rendered flicker does not appear, it is a big pain.  I've been adding effects to clips nested for years and I really need, what can I do?

I don't know that this will help you, but...  I recently found this with glued on the nested clip (green bknd) drop shadow effect.  I found that the sequence containing the clips that were the nested sequence had a frequency of inappropriate images (10 FPS).  When I changed this to 23.976 fps, the flicker disappeared.  At no time the real video clip has played at 10 frames per second - just the shadow.

I don't know why that should be while I thought that the rendering was supposed to correct differences as a sequence that when I moved the sequence to the main time line.

  • Nested sequences messed up in After Effects (photos inside)

    Hey guys and girls!

I'm slowly but surely mad. Our project is mounted, 30 hours of video are waiting to be rendered. And the first nested sequence imported from the body After effects fails miserably.

    What is the problem?

    nested problem 1.png

I have these sequences of the body. Note that on video 3 there is a "Cup" at 02:14. It's not really a cup it's my EOS 5 d MIII images. The EOS stops after 29mins record - but the two clips are seamless.

Now I replace with a Composition of Effects after. I tried nested, to them, grouped, separated, track at once and all the tracks at the same time (as it should).

    That's what I get:

    nested problem 2.png

15 second gap between the two clips. None of the clips have effects of any kind applied to them.

Please help, not only am I'll shamelessly insane, we are going to miss our deadline because of this.

    Thank you!

    Michael

Now, you are facing the following problems:

    -make the order;

-bugs in the key effect hidden Track.

Look at the first, all the effects are rendered in a particular order:

-from top down according to their position in a list of the applied effects.

    - Fixed effects are rendered after Standard effects.

-nested content is rendered in bubble mode of Crescent: a greater depth to the surface.

Therefore, in order to deceive the rendering order, you can for example instead of manipulate the movement properties of the effect apply the transformative effect before any other effect Standard or breed your images and manipulate the properties of the effect of movement inside the nested sequence.

Look for bugs to track overlay, can't you sometimes it wrong with the effect of the transformation and, therefore, have nesting.

  • Solution-alternatives-tips for multi-audio export in a nested sequence?

Like many, I mounted my final model as a nested sequence. Several, but not all the subsequences contain a mixture of stereo audio tracks and mono source (including: some isolated from the channels of dialogue, layers, sound effects, etc...). Unfortunately, as I just found on the hard, it seems that exporting OMF or AAF in a nested sequence transfers only the tracks visible IN the NESTED sequence ONLY and ignores all other audio tracks of original sequences (void). And I said that this is the norm for OMF/AAF.  Wow! It sucks!

I hope it's one of those annoying weird things where everyone but me knows the best way to get the audio tracks, went to their audio favorite finishing DAW. Mine is Logic Pro X.

    Appreciate it. Thank you!

What happens if you UN - nest it. Like taking this sequence in the project bin after selecting the button "display nests as the individual sequences and more words ' in the panel mounting - take this sequence nested of the location of the project and place it on the timeline where he opens the video layers.

Now, if this is not export as an OMF - perhaps because she always links to the nest - what to say to another sequence, copying stacked above video layers (layers video open upwards) and copy the audio layers.

Other then that, the command "flatten" allows in some circumstances - but even more with blocking sequences.

  • Video effects work only not on sequences embedded in first Pro CS5

    HI -.

I am having trouble with the first ProCS5. I have a project with a few clips I put together in a sequence. I put this sequence in another sequence. Here, I'll add one or two tracks of additional images and apply the color correction.

The problem is: no effects video I drag the sequence (which is now a nested sequence) has no effect. What I change in the effect control will sho not upward in the monitor. Audio effects do not work, though. In addition, none of the tracks above the nested clip are displayed. To clarify: the nested track is on V1, another clip is on V2 and V3 is a picture. Only V1 is displayed.

I know that it is supposed to work, and it doesn't in another project created in the same version on the same machine with the same kind of material. But no matter how many times I create a new project, just the application of video effects to a nested sequence does not work.

Even more strange is the fact that my applied effects appear in the "export settings" window. They do not, however, in the final rendered file. I'd say it's a bug.

What could be the reason for this behavior?

You use acclerated CUDA/GPU rendering? If so, what happens when you change the rendering mode to your software only project?

  • Why my nested sequence is superimposing the effects?

    Hey everybody,

So after I fix the colors my master clips, I sync them, remove the audio not desired, then nest them. BUT in the nested sequence, it seems that all the layer of video tracks video effects throwing my nested sequence in a horrible color landscape of overexposed or more colorful clips! Can someone help me?

    Mike Diaz

    1. create a sequence corresponding to your support.

    2. Add the clips, synchronization manually.

    3. create a second sequence corresponding to your support.

    4. nest the first sequence in the second sequence.

    5. right click this sequence of nested, then choose multicamera > activate.

    6 change now.

Once you're done editing, add effects cc for clips in the first sequence, created in step 2.

  • Time remapping a nested sequence results in video black/empty

    Hey!

I have a long sequence (47 minutes), I want to remap time (to increase the speed of certain keyframes). I therefore nested sequence in a master sequence, where I make the time-remapping. However, I feel what seems to be a weird bug: to a certain slice turns black/empty video and stays that way - even if the original sequence keeps the video material.

It's not helping to split the clip (nested sequence) in small clips and time remapping those individually - just empty frames appear earlier in each clip.

    Export works very well

When I export the sequence as a medium, the output looks very good however.

I hope that you are able to help me or tell me, if I do something wrong.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hardware information

I work on a MacBook Pro (retina, 15 inch, mid-2014).

You can also try to change the software-only rendering engine. It's under "project settings" in the menu.

  • Export without sequence video coding

I edited the clips of a camcorder format (progressive 50i/s on the hd 1080 x 1920 full panasonic) which is entirely compatible bluray.

(I would like to export the sequence without encoding again from one) it is a long and b process) provides that the reduction in quality with regard to the native format. (there is reason that the effects have to rencoded).

Can sombedoy tell me how to proceed?

    Thank you

    Phalch

And don't forget that "smart rendering" applies only to images, which has just been shortened, or joined, that is if you add Transitions, overlay (titles or PiP) or effects, then you'll still Render/Trnascode these parts for export. For pure milling and joining, VirtualDub would be the best way to go.

Then, when you are finished, you can use any number of DVD/BD creation programs to create a BD 100% compatible BD (very important) material. Although I've not used so, DVD Architect gets high marks from others.

    Good luck

  • Nested sequence shows only partial video

I use CS4.  I have a series of projects of each container of nested sequences.  So far, this has been great, but on one - and only one - a project of the sequences, when nested in another poster only a small segment of the video.  The sound is fine.  SEQ #1 and 2 are the two long 01:11:40:12.  When Seq #1 & 2 are nested in Seq #3, #2 seems perfect both audio and video audio #1 is fine but only a small fraction of the video is nested. This video starts at 00:10:33:11 in the #3 and works for only 00:03:45:17, and the video that appears is in and out at the right time.

My workaround solution has been to make Seq #1 like any other. AVI leader II - which works very well - and then, rather than the nesting of the #1 sequence I just bring the. AVI file in the time line.  It works fine - but I can't understand how and why this one in this a timeline project acts this way.

    Any ideas?

    PS:

No idea why the timings are displayed with semicolons and not settlers?   00 03 45; just curious 00:03:45:17 17 vs.

  • Why my video look different after have exported them to AfterEffects?

I made a few changes to a video legacy, and after the export of the video, I noticed that the video looked a little less dynamic compared to the origin of the film. So I compared, and of course the exported video has been washed (whitish) upwards a little search in the comparison. Its very subtle, but still noticeable to me. So I thought that maybe it's an effect I did changed the images.

So, I started above and downloaded the original file in a new project. Then without doing one thing, I exported it directly on my desk. The sequence was still different. I also double and triple checked that they are both the same files. (Quicktime MIV) Is there something I missed when exporting? I will say that this is my first attempt in a video export. I looked at a few tutorials and they seem not to be something different. I hope you guys can help.
    Thank you

inheritance changes the video permanently, it creates a gamma tag as 'Hi', if your Player supports, I should be read

with the gamma setting. This is why AE Profile Converter utility is usually the answer because it "Burns" in the right color and gamma.

Since most of the video is rec.709, 16-235 and 0-255 to create different looks and darkens the image so that when downloaded on youtube, when youtube them brightened again, (which is bad, but good), they come out perfect.

instructions for installation color profile Converter:

set the input to rec.709 profile, 16-235

and the output profile to rec.709 "no numbers here.

    This will darken your image.

I also have gamma Lut that convert 2.2 to 1.8 and vice versa with the Dispcal free software.

  • Sequences can inherit the nested sequences chapter markers?

I am in my project of edition about 2 hours of video. For that things remain manageable and being able to do fast makes it partial, I have divided the project into several parts. Each part is edited in a clean sequence. Finally I combine parts by adding them in the form of sequences embedded in my master sequence. The problem with this approach is that I can't get the creation to inherit the nested sequences chapter markers. For example, in my 03 sequence, I put a chapter marker.

    sequence.png

When I put this sequence in my master sequence, chapter markers will not appear and it is also not be counted when I export the main movie to a DVD:

    master-sequence.png

I could of course place the markers on the main sequence, but I would rather their place in the sequence of the child for two reasons:

    • Markers and edited scenes would be in one place.
    • If I choose to re - edit some parts of the sequence, I won't forget to update the position of the mark.

I'd love to hear your ideas on how I could do this. If my work flow is poor/ineffective, I'd love to hear about that, too

You can do all your editing in different sequences and bring them a master.

But I leave the markers to the end of the Master.

  • Nested sequence: after a break, audio repeats of previous clip

Summary: In a situation of the nested sequence, I get short audio repetition of an element of clip just before a haircut.

    Context:

    • First Pro CC, the most recent version at the time of writing (7.0.1 (105), Windows 7 (64-bit).)
    • Structure: I have a sync sequence (sequence source multicam) consisting of XDCAM-EX (largely inspired by the AVCHD file structure) and Z1 (plain m2t files).  Derivative of / depends on who's a multicam editing sequence, where I cut between camera angles.  While the sequence is itself nested in a master sequence (showing selected excerpts from the performance).
    • Reference: Multicam editing sequence includes (among others) of a rock band "big finish" followed by some applause.  I had a Cup in the audio (only) of the element in the sequence of nested, to activate the audio for the applause to be normalized regardless of the performance of the band.  To smooth the join, I added a melted transition chained on the Cup.  Nicer in principle that the use of volume envelopes.
    • When I play the original recording or the multicam sync-sequence or sequence multicam editing, everything looks and seems fine.

    Problem:

    • During the main sequence is read (in preview or clip exported/coded) I hear the great finish, then the applause starts, then after 2 seconds "big finish" is heard once more, but the lowest audio.
    • This effect occurs whenever I used the same technique of cutting/standardize/fade chained in the editing multicam (nested) sequence.  I also met there in previous projects in first CS6.
    • If I delete the crossfade the problem goes away...  Any type of crossfade audio is used.

Is this a known issue? and there at - it a quick fix? (other than the envelopes to the place or copy/patching the audio up to master level)

I do this kind of thing myself and have not run into this problem.  Try to make the audio in the sequence of Cup and master.

  • How do you export a sequence of editable lower third

I created a lower sequence of third parties via Quicktime PNG and PNG still. There are 3 components, quicktime Intro clip, a PNG images so I can adjust the length of the lower thirds and a quicktime clip Outro. Above all this is a title for the name of the person.

The question is, how do I do that this export to an editable object or the nested sequence? I want to be able to just slide the whole thing into any video and just need to worry about setting the duration of the lower thirds and text.

Simply isolate these layers in their own project.  A project with a single sequence and this sequence has only the assets that you want to use in other projects.

Then just import the entire project into any other project he needs. It will be in its own location, easy to work, and it will be editable.

  • Export multiple sequences at the same time?

    Hello

I am currently using Adobe first Pro CS5.5 to edit videos in about 1400 short .avi format (10 seconds for each).

I have to reduce the speed of each video to 75%, then export each again. I was able to import and to slow down all the videos at the time, but now I can't find a way to export all fast enough. When I import the unique clips at the same time, they are all placed in a sequence in a single project.

I can access only 'Export-> media' if I have one of these videos at the same time export. If I chose more than one video export, I can only access export via AAF or Final Cut Pro.

Like Premiere Pro does not .avi formats, I want to make videos in Quick time (.mov) format.

I found a way to put them in the Adobe Media Encoder CS5.5, so I can let the encoder run export (so I don't have to wait around 1400 videos finish). The problem is that I have to export all the videos on his own in the encoder as well. It takes a lot of time, so I hope someone can help me. Is it possible to export several clips at once (or more of Premiere Pro and Media Encoder)?

    Thank you very much!

I don't know a simple or automated way...

    Ooh, ooh! Yes!

Of course, this assumes that you have something that you didn't mention it, but I will operate on the assumption that you do: After Effects. Note that I can fully test this on CS5.5, as I did not then, but it * mostly * works in CS5. I know CS5.5, however, it should work even better in many ways. Are you ready? Here goes...

    1. Assuming that you have all of your clips in first, and that you have already performed at the desired rate (I guess this is how you've changed their speed massively), select all the clips in the sandbox and copy them.
    2. Launch After Effects, create a new project and paste all clips in AE. all clips will be added to the project using the first interpretation. Technically, you could start at this stage by the importation of all your videos in AE and make the interpretation here; options, options.
    3. With all the clips selected in AE, drag them to the new Comp button at the bottom of the project Panel. This will open a dialog box asking if you want to create a unique model with all clips, or multiple compositions. Choose the option of several Compositions and click OK. Wait... You will have now a lot of comps, each containing a clip, with the correct interpretation and change of speed... and they will also have the name of your source element.
    4. Launch the SOUL. Go in Edition > Preferences > General and check the "specify destination output file:" box. Choose the location where you want all of your code to disembark; the reason why you need to do is that the SOUL allows you to change the format and preset for several items in line waiting, but foolishly, you cannot change the location of several items. This step will save you a lot of headaches x 1400
    5. Back to AE - and this is a new device fees - select your compositions and drag - move in the queue of the SOUL. You can now change the format and preset for all your items in line waiting at a time, and you'll see they're all down to the location that you chose in the preferences. A final bit that has changed in CS5.5 is this sequence of body multiple queued or AE comps use this title sequence or a model - NOT the title of the project - when you add several items to the queue. This was an error extremely annoying in CS5 (and frankly, would have made your process pretty much a nightmare), which has fortunately been corrected in CS5.5.

Now, of course, the time typed this up (which I'll leave so you can see how ridiculously easy the following process is), I found a better solution.

    1. Drag your clips in the SOUL.
    2. Select all clips in the SOUL.
    3. Click with the right button on an item in the queue or go to file > interpret footage. Set the desired cadence. Click OK.
    4. Set your format, the preset and click the Start button. You always want to set the preference of location as above in #4.

I'll let you decide which is easier

  • First Pro/SOUL fails to export the sequence containing the reverse clip

When I try to export a sequence that contains an element for which I reversed the speed, sequence are not exported. (I had a similar problem with just coating the sequence, but if I turn the GPU acceleration in the project settings and use "software only" it will make.) This happens with files of GH4 and Phantom 3 Pro (the cameras only I currently use). I can watch the progress of the export, and it always chokes on the clip in the position reversed. If I have "non-reversed" clips and play normally, everything works fine.

The clips are 4K in a calendar of 1080 p. Nesting does not help.

I export using the 1080 p YouTube preset.

Under first Pro CC 2015.2 Windows 10 Pro with a GeForce GTX 970.

Any thoughts on how I can actually reverse an element and be able to use it in the sequence? It's really frustrating, and I continue to meet him on multiple projects.

    Thank you

Right-click on the suspicious item on the timeline and in the menu drop-down, choose replace and made...

    try again your export.

  • Split a long video effectively?

Do you have a shoot for a client recently, a sequence video of the hour and a half with multiple cameras. All right, except that they want the video divided into specific sections of their act.

The last time I did, I copied the file into a new and added markers and color codes where I wanted the splits, removed all on each side, then exported. It was slow going, but I eventually got it.

Is there an easier way? Also, can I export the entire timeline as an edited clip, then reopen it in a new file, mark the changes and export? Or this will degrade the quality of the finished product?

    See you soon.

Set your sequence and output and export points.   The default is to export the sequence outside the beach.

Export a segment completely - only queue, then (re) set the In and Out points to the next segment.

    Rinse and repeat!
