  If it's really important, you might have more luck finding a local storage / archival or some members of the family to another House and store some backup disks with them. I don't think that the storage of online backups is a viable alternative for the amount of data we are talking about. It will cost you a lot of money, you don't get those gigabytes for free anywhere and the downloads are hairy. you are also still at risk of the supplier goes out of business or deleting your files for some reason any. Directly related to fire-related damage, you can also consider a steel tempered light Cabinet / Treasury Board. But as with all the other stuff, it should always weigh the cost against the risk of a fire happening or any other damage that occur... ultimately, it may not be worth and fees, if you cannot deduct as a business investment.

• How to record a video cut like a new video file for later use in other projects

  Hello.  I am new to Adobe Premiere and this might be a really stupid question, but it is possible to take a slice of video, a piece out of it and record this song like a new video file to use in several sequences?  For example, I have a videotape of interviews with a 100th birthday that I have attended and I would like to connect different comments in different parts of a video that I do.  But I would like to create splices of all comments I recorded, consider each comment and then organize the comments on the paper and then go back and put the clips of commentary in different parts of the video master.  How to connect the original video into smaller pieces and set them aside so I can embed clips at a later date?  I know I can cut video and leave it in my main video but I really want to put aside.  A bit like cropping of a picture and make a backup from the cropped image under a different name, so I can create a collage of pictures that result later, I crop.

  If all goes well, that makes sense.  I have until December to finish this video wife of Grandpa will celebrate HIS 100th and I would like to have this video to see the family.

  It says that images should not be greater than 1024x1024px but the retina display is 2048x1536px. So, if you want to use images of 1024px they'll appear lo-res on the retina? Is this correct?

  It is an old TechNote that needs to be updated.

  The best way to target the SD and HD (retina) devices is to create folios of 1024 x 768 in PDF image format. See the articles of multi-rendu creation. Another option is to create HD and SD formats, but even if you take this approach, we recommend however stick to documents source 1024 x 768.

  The size of the image, feel free to use for non-interactive images high resolution images.   I deleted my previous answer. If you use the same path for the assets shared among the versions h and v, each shared resource is downloaded only once. This is true of other layouts in InDesign CS6, and I think that's true for CS5/CS5.5 as well. This was the case during a quick test, we did it.

  Welcome to the forums.

  Please move the .xml files created in the folder where you have the clips to another location. You need to clean up files created by first on the initial import .cfa and .pek .xmp. .Cfa and .pek files in the cache of media so just clean the folder cache media. The xmp file will be in the folder where are the clips. Also, uncheck the "write xmp IDs to files on import" option to preferences > media... I hope this helps.

• How can I add date/time to internally of the metadata for a video file at home. The camera records all the metadata.

  My camera, Canon Ixus 870IS, adds a lot of metadata internal still picture files, but none for movie files.  I want to at least add datetime created in the internal metadata files can be organized properly.  The datetime in the external metadata is unnecessary because many videos will have the same value for datetime, that when they were transferred from the camera to the computer.

  When you go to the analysis, there should be a window that appears to select the format and the DPI of the analysis. There is also an option for the options of '/CSA/ '. Here you can change the default location to save on selecting another file of having sent them to analysis.
