  I'm really sorry to learn that when you watch videos on your laptop Lenovo T430, it sparkles and get stuck for a few seconds every time that you try to move or to push.

  I would like to inform you that your Lenovo T430 has a technology called Active Protection System. When the protection system detects any movement, he stops to your hard drive and the system seems to be temporarily out of order. The hard drive is less vulnerable to damage when it is not in operation.

  You can manually disable Thinkvantage Active Protection System.Uncheck the "enable Active Protection System".

  I think that probably the Thinkvantage Active Protection System (APS) suspends your drive hard as you move your system, try disabling it temporarily and check again the behavior.

  As for the warranty, if your purchased your SL510 of a retail store like Best Buy, then you can get your warranty by sending a fax from your purchase receipt to the guys at Lenovo warranty.   The driver listed for your laptop with a Radeon graphics card can be exceeded, but there may be an option to update.

  AMD strongly recommend using OEM driver as laptops are customized by the OEM, but some users have a need or desire to have the latest driver available.

  I used Steam from Valve platform for years to update my ATI/AMD drivers for my laptop and desktop with a Radeon graphics card.  Note that Steam is developed by Valve and it is not associated with HP.

  This method is not known outside the community of players, and I would like to share this method.

  1. install Steam store.steampowered.com.

  2. once it is installed and creating an account, please sign in.

  3. click on Steam at the top left of the page.

  4. Select search automatically updates of the video driver.

  5. it will scan your material and detect the most recent driver and software for the Radeon card.

  6 if there is nothing new, it will prompt to install.  Follow the prompts.  If there is nothing new, it will indicate that you already have the most recent.

  The method above is what I consider the best way to get updates from AMD driver for Radeon cards.  If it is a switchable graphic system, this should work as long as the AMD card is active.

  My laptop is switchable graphics and it worked for me.  However, there are some cases of switchable graphics where it may not work.

  It's weird. Some games that I can play with the medium or high settings with little or no problem. I know that this is not a portable game, but I only play games occasionally. I'm not talking about games here either. It runs Skyrim and Fallout: New Vegas without problem. In addition, it ran call of Duty: MW3 upstairs very smooth.

  The question is... can I allocate more memory on my video card? He said that the card can be a total memory approx. 1696 MB, but I know this isn't a 1.6 GB video card. I read some computers allow you to change the BIOS settings to add more memory, but I can't find anything. Im just surprised he plays these big games that he probably lag at least a little, but he can't play hitman: absolution of all and the video RAM minimum for this is 512 mb like Skyrim.

  There is no option in the BIOS to allocate more memory for the video card. Video card performance is optimized automatically during the game.
