• Audio missing on vimeo and youtube

  Recently, I downloaded a video, vimeo and youtube. When I saw on my iphone or ipad, one of the audio tracks is missing. I can hear the audio when I use headphones, but not the speakers on the iphone and the ipad or tablet.

Several years ago YouTube was a Flash API for direct playback of video integrated inside a SWF file of parent (the only way to do it in a PDF file), but it also allowed the population to ignore advertising, so they we closed.   2. Host the video file on your own website and put the HTTP link in the annotation dialog box (simple but anyone can download a copy, is not safe).

  Hope someone can help me with this... Just got a new Blackberry passport a week ago, coming from an iphone 4 s. I have play videos on Facebook and Youtube and after a few seconds/minutes a VERY STRONG high pitch sound (more like a whistling noise) suddenly burst speakers, then slowly his is dimishing and after a few seconds, no more sounds of Blackberry coming out of speakers. The music plays, but no sound, even for the videos and key tone. I need to reboot my bb for my speakers to work again. What happens here?

  Some things you can try:

  Can you open your Real Player and tell me what version you have? I think that Real Player 15.0.6 is supposed to solve this problem. There was a conflict between Real Player and Flash this all summer that broke Flash videos. Real Player has released an update which may help in your case.

  If played from YouTube or your own web server, the file size of the video will not add anything significant to the size of the web page.  They are simply text files, very small in comparison.  Adding a video is a few lines of code pointing to the reading software and the video file itself.

  If you host the file on your own server, then the bandwidth will count towards your monthly totals, while only hosted on YouTube, he obviously won't.  But the web page itself will not change much in size.
