Video twinkle first CS5.5.

Hello. I had this problem for some time. I tried a lot of different things like change the weft dominant order, deinterlace, creating a new sequence directly from the clip, the duration of the speed, imported after effects and using Remapping keys. I'll post more info if I remember later.

Here's a Vimeo link to the clip, that I do not speak...

http://Vimeo.com/33338487

I use the Canon XHA1 and 50i DVPAL widescreen film.

I use Windows 7 on PC. My graphics card is NVIDIA GEforce 9800GTX/9800 GTX + (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM v1.1).

Here's my project settings...

When I right click on the clip for the properties, I get this information...

I hope I could give you all the information you need. I hope that someone can even direct me on how I would need to go to find out what goes wrong. The problem is most common when I slowed down. I don't idle by clicking with the right button on the clip and the duration of speed to 30 percent. Actuallu, I can change the clip to a few different percentages and I'm having the same flicker. Particularly in the top of the image. I can see the highlights, the trees in the background, detail on the flicker of the outfits in particular. I know you can expect some, but it's certainly more than usual. I hope that the link to the vimeo video will let you see the problem.

Please let me know if you need more information. Thank you...

Re-read my previous post.

HDV capture, edit export HDV (50i timeline) to mpeg2-dvd (do NOT use match sequence settings, or the view of the files).

Using a parameter of export as DV pal widescreen (or manually) and set use Max-rendering quality (hidden in the menu on the side of the export settings) on.

To use Vimeo YouTube preset or a predefined format H.264 HDTV.

Especially working with interlaced material, for the slomo / images frozen, you generally set deinterlace systematically on the timeline or use flicker removal, works best. Its trial and error. You can experiment with interpolation (right click on the item in the timeline)

Playback is nervous as well?  First CS5 is older than 5 years and you can be on the 32-bit version?    Also be sure to what ShadowPlay produces a constant frame rate export.   First dislikes images of frame variable rate but which usually manifests as not be able to play all the.

Try to run your file through Handbrake and set it to constant framerate and try again first.  Is not guaranteed to solve the problem, but removes a suspect.

  • RAW video plays for only 1 second in first CS5 Viewer

I'm on an iMac, OS X 10.6.8 Intel Core i7 2.93 GHz, 8 GB of memory.

I try to use the First CS5 (full version), which I am new to edit a raw video that was shot. Import the file (.mov files 590,1 MB) by double clicking, then I drag this file into the window of the observer.

I click on the play button and the first time it plays for about a second, then at any time after that, he plays at the best prices. If I hold down the right arrow key it plays but it is extremely rough.

I looked for solutions (http://forums.adobe.com/thread/642962?tstart=0) and I found a suggestion of update my drivers by a software update, after a reboot, what has not worked. Then I found a suggestion to try to reproduce the problem even after log you in as User Root , but I still have the same question as the User Root.

I tried to do my editing in Final Cut Express and it worked fine, but because it's Express is a little limiting. I thought about a version of first full pro would be better.

Is there anyone else out there with the other suggestions?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi Dave,.

    Welcome to the forum.

  • Problems with video capture in Final cut pro verses first CS5

The codec used in the capture of a video of the PCF, I cannot import the FCP in first CS5. Video I get clients who capture video in FCP and then send it to me. Is there a different capture format, they can use or y at - it a codec that is available that does not cost a fortune, working first for windows?

Yes, I am intimately familiar with P2 and edit in Premiere Pro - I have done so for four years. You don't need drivers for P2 unless you are actually mount the card P2 or the camera to your computer. Premiere Pro will edit the images natively without any additional installation. The applies to all formats that can be recorded to P2, including DV, DVCPRO, DVCPRO 50, DVCPRO HD, and AVC-Intra. If someone offers you a complete workout of the P2 files (folder structure) and you can import and edit all these without additional work around.

  • Video problem, first pro cs5.5

Hi there, I'm trying to import video into adobe cs5.5, but every time I do it comes up with this error message "this file has no audio or video stream" now, it's not true that I can play the videos with media player and they work fine and I can also download them in windows movie maker 2011 hassle However I need them in CS5.5. Any ideas what could be the cause of this?

I hate to ask this question, but you have installed Quicktime?  If so, which version?

The only time where I saw that the error is if the native Pr Quicktime importer does not recognize the format or the codec and the Quicktime is not installed on the system.

  • When I use magic bullet in first cs5.5 it takes time to make

    Hello

I have Dell laptop I7 16 GB intel hd graphics 4400 and I use in first cs5.5.

When I edit the video and use the magical effect, he takes like 8-12 minutes to return shoots of 5 seconds.

I can't really work with that.

I know that my graphics card is not so good, but I suppose that the memory card and the processor is enough for video editing...

I tried also to use in edius 7.5 and the same problem.

I saw some videos on youtube and they explain to change the setting sequence at 640 X 480 and then when I export to return to full hd, but I guess that the video quality is also change.

    I really exhausted problem...

    Thank you.

Some plugins like Magic Bullet are a lot of resources and the configuration of your computer is not powerful enough to cope better than that.

  • MP4 in first Cs5?

I am using first Pro Cs5 and Final Cut Pro 7.0, and it is a problem I have at the same time.

I recently got a Canon EOS 6 d still camera, which made the video. The video file details are:

    type: mp4; Movie MPEG-4

    Size: 136.8 MB

    Dimensions: 1920 x 1080

    Codecs: H.264, AAC

    Color profile: HD (1-1-1)

    Audio channels: 2

    I shot the film in 1920 30 ALL-I, 30 frames per second.

But when I import (i.e. try to open) video files in Final Cut or Premiere, I have a few problems that I don't understand. First, I'm going to file > import. A small picture of my file is displayed in the left window. But once I drag the window history on the background, the film seems too big (i.e., cropped) in the screen right where I can see my movie when I hit the space bar 'play '. I don't know how to get it to the right size.

A similar problem occurs in Final Cut.

(Please bear with me, I'm trying to teach myself video editing and do not pretend to be well informed on the subject of codecs and whatnot, but I want to learn. I bought a book on Final cut, but it does not in this topic. I come from a background of Photography/Photoshop where none of those things apply).

Is it possible to fix the size? Or do I need to convert the mp4 file in another format? If so, what is an easy, free way to do?

  • How can I import a MKV into first CS5.5

    Hello

How can I import a MKV into first CS5.5?

    Please help me

    Thank you very much

I have never used Matroska myself because I only work with material from video cameras, but it is popular and there should be many options that are available to you, but:

SEVERE WARNING: does not install something like K-Lite codec pack. This will usually require a complete reformat of your boot drive and complete a new installation of the operating system and programs. A typical SNAFU (normal, all contaminated systems upward) situation.

  • File audio h.264 out of sync. First CS5.5

After building a new machine with first CS5.5, using the Q4000 NVIDIA card, I have trouble opening my audio are out of sync. I export sequences DSLR the same sequence was already good export on my old computer. Now, when I export, the sound is out of sync a few images. There is something really funny going on. When I play the same video file in Windows media player, it seems to be in harmony. When I play it in Quicktime, it is clearly out of step. Also, when I upload to Vimeo, it is out of sync as well.

If you want to see my computer's specifications, you will find them in this post:

    http://forums.Adobe.com/message/4211881#4211881

When I export the same file in Mpeg DVD, it seems in sync. Is - this problem anyone familiar?

See the raw images to compare sound.

Refer to your sequence to make sure that you don't to not push the audio out of sync at all.

Remove the media cache in the project and leave the first re - conform to the audio.

  • FLICKER IN AREAS of CONTRAST HIGH first CS5.5

    Hello

I am getting video flicker in my videos high contrast areas. I recently posted a discussion to get the correct sequence settings, and who has made miracles...

Here are links to my previous discussions...

    http://forums.Adobe.com/message/4092910#4092910
    http://forums.Adobe.com/message/4102131#4102131

Now, my film is looking great, but when I play on a TV on DVD, areas with details, such as... Details on an Indian wedding dress, the trees, the backgrounds with light and dark shades different than flickering. As a he, I slowed down the images up to 30%.

    I've read a few posts...

    http://forums.Adobe.com/message/3889344#3889344#3889344

I tried to read others and looking for them, but did not find the problem or resolution specifically.

Already tried right click the images, go to field options, then clicking on remove the flicker, but when I play back the image is good until the camera pans, and that's when you can see it photo jumping or jittering.

OT sure if you need these details, but here they just in case.

    I use windows 7 64
    First CS5.5

I read on temporal smoothing, but also read that this does not work in manual mode of the shadow effect / light tones.

Here are some pictures of my sequence and the parameters of the project + the clip info

You do not change the framerate just scaling: hdv to sd card.

However to reduce the speed of a clip might be the cause. Try numbers like 50% or 25%.

    Have you tried another TV?

    > m4v is not an ideal format for a video that contains audio and video, right?

In my opinion, M4V means "MPEG-4, video only.  I know that this is the accepted industry convention.  It is not impossible to audio in a container of M4V, but this is not the desired result.

    > rather than offer .m4v, it is advisable to ask and provide des.mp4/.mov for the project.

If you produce video + audio files for Apple devices, Yes, video H.264 + AAC audio in MP4 or MOV container is exactly what you want.

  • First CS5 - system reading HDV freezes/crashes!

    Hi all

Despite the immense anger and frustration that accumulates in these moments there, I will try as hard as possible to stick to the facts here:

First CS5 is completely unusable since I bought it 6 weeks ago.  It runs on a new Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit system.   He can't handle the HDV playback and blocks the machine at random intervals during play, normally within a few seconds.  Sometimes the 'crash' means that the video freezes for and audio continues to play.  Sometimes, the accident blocks the whole machine or even forces an immediate re-boot.  First seems to behave as if it is running on an old and slow system that cannot follow.  I cannot perform a single Edition on my calendar because of the crash problem.

I support box to open with Adobe, but they seem to have no idea how fix the problem and continue round in circles (they tried to dismiss the case 3 times more!).  I called Sunny, Sundeep, Riaz, Deepak and the supervisor, Avinash.  I have also contacted technical sales engineer Steve Burnard (to the BVE, Earls Court), but have so far been ignored, despite its promises to help.  I have been working through a comprehensive list of maintenance, but made no progress.  It goes without saying really, but my business suffers bigtime.

My system spec is as follows: Asus P7P7P55-M, Intel Core i7 870, Coolermaster Hyper TX3, 8 gb Corsair DDR3 1600 mhz CL9 DHX (4 x 2 GB modules), NVidia GeForce GTX 460 1 GB, 700w EZCool Tornado PSU, Western Digital FW800 Raid Array, Matrox Triplehead2go (now disconnected from paternalism).  The machine is NOT overclockee, and I have no antivirus software or other programs on the system: it is a dedicated video editing system.

I'm under first CS5 version 5.0.3 (all updates installed).  My NVidia drivers are up-to-date (266.58 version). My images are HDV 1080i for a Canon XLH1a (PAL).

Here is a summary of the main things I've tried.  None of these steps has made a clear difference:

    • Changed "rendering optimizes memory/performance."
    • Tinkered with memory allocation settings
    • Cache cleared
    • Lowered playback quality
    • Captured or imported new film HDV (same camera)
    • Re-capture the images of 'problem' (same camera)
    • Film imported from another machine (work). These images editing / playing perfectly in CS3 on the old machine and was captured on the same device
    • Footage moved to another (fast) drive hard internal
    • Other drivers and BIOS updated
    • Entry memory timings/tension manually instead of using the parameters of the BIOS 'Auto '.
    • TH2go disconnected and uninstalled Matrox Powerdesk
    • Updated day/re-installed video card drivers (clean install)
    • First uninstalled and then reinstalled updates one at a time (the last 5.0.3)
    • Run memtest86 with only a WHAT DIMM installed in time - no error reported
    • Run Prime95 Torture test for 4.5 hours with no error reported
    • Tried to import Quicktime HD DVD 'Company of images' files (won't import)

    Main findings:

Images that hangs at first CS5 plays back fine in Windows Media Player on the same machine at full resolution.

The images which blocks the first time and publishes fine on an old machine running Premiere CS3.

Capture the scene does not work properly - it cuts off after a few minutes. Bands must therefore be captured in their entirety, meaning file sizes are large.

AVI files seem to play back fine so far (could it be related to higher compression formats?)

My apologies for the length of this post.  It is a complex problem and long term, and so far no 'professionals' from Adobe showed a real willingness to help.  Adobe support have suggested so far only the basics.  They are extremely reluctant to you allow to talk to their support higher level officers and seem to basically just script-readers.  If a suggestion does not work, they seem to have no idea of what to try next (until they ' talking to their superiors'!).

They recorded a session with me and are apparently still discuss the results: honestly, I'm not sure I believe them.  Four weeks have passed now.   According to me, that I really need someone to try to resolve the conflict of machine/first on hardware software.  I could be wrong, but given all of my testing so far this seems to be caused by a conflict between the first and something on my machine... .but what?  I don't see any sign of a faulty hardware.

All the advice in the wake of any listed above would be appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

    Paul

    Power supplies - what!

I would like to say to NewEggs on sides of the user as a good starting point to help with your selection. I like also jonnyGuru.com be able to provide comments. they looked at a lot of different p / s

About power, do not put too much weight in this alone. I have an old Thermaltake Toughpower 675 watts p/s which is so solid, but there are sellers of 1000 and 1200 models of watt that I wouldn't trust in my system for a second. I think you should at least 650 watt rated p/w with a renowned manufacturer.

    Things that I find important:

-more large power units tend to be much quieter with excess capacity and more fans (I got the AX1200 gold Corsair and LOVE)

-models of modular cables may provide much cleaner cases

    -variable speed fans

  • First CS5 + images 7 d + = my computer cannot return (!)

    Hello guys
A week ago I had my first assignment and my client does not really believe I can do it (when he saw filming me with 7 d.) o I really want to surprise him. The problem is that I do something wrong or my computer is really too slow to make movies.

    First of all, spec. comp:

Pentium Dual Core 3.0 GHZ 64-bit
    4 GB RAM OCZ Platinum Rev2 800 MHZ 4-4-4-15
    WD Caviar 160GB 7200 (I know ;()
    GeForce 8800GTS 640MO

    Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

I'm working on the first CS5 and After Effects CS5 (tests at the moment ' casue I have to consider purchasing computer before buying the software better :/).

I had a 4 MINUTE long 7 D images, executed in first, color in After Effects (dynamic linked Premiere), and with a few cross dissolve transitions first + a track ambient (25 MB) and voice track (70 MB). The PROBLEM IS when I want to PAY him, he says he will make for 36HOURS (!). I can't even finish it because I can't play the full movie. I wanted to go to a really small format just to check if there is everything fine with cuts and with sound but can't!  I chose QuickTime format and codec H.264 with 50% of the quality, 23.976 rate, D1/DV PAL widescreen and it shows me 36HOURS...

I tried the trial Cineform Neoscene codec and convert my .mov AVCHD in cineform .avi video, then I tried to make it with the worst possible .flv options and it shows me always more than 30 hours

Am I doing something wrong or what?:(

The PROBLEM IS when I want to PAY him, he says he will make for 36HOURS (!)

It is to be expected when the system does not yet meet the minimum requirements and that you are dealing with one of the most difficult codecs and taxing autour.

The only solution I see is to get a new PC: Forums Adobe: how to build PC? and watch the economic model as a bare minimum with this source material.

What you are trying to do is to carry a load of 40 tonnes with a bike uphill. But by choosing QuiRckTime as export format, make you it even worse, you have a bike with a rear flat tire. Stay away from 32 bit QT as much as possible.
