  12.1.3 JDeveloper / MAF 2.1 / Windows 7 Prof 64 bit / JDK 1.7

  I just updated the MAF from JDeveloper extension (Help - Check for Updates).

  I had earlier version 2.0 of the MAF and it worked very well.

  After this 2.1 update, I was not able to start the JDeveloper. The update succeeded.

  It gives me error when I try to open up JDeveloper below.

  I also tried to remove the "system12.1.3.0.41.140521.1008" folder, but it is still not start.

  I've seen other posts in this forum but some developers could start JDeveloper after the update.

  Can you get it someone please let me know if there is a way to solve this problem?

  Not exactly what goes wrong with your installation.

  In general JDeveloper 12.1.3 must be started with JDK 1.7

  You must also have 1.8 JDK on your machine, and the extension of the MAF will need to know its installed location.

  I suggest that you remove the system12.1.3 directory, and then re - install JDeveloper in a new location.

  When you install JDeveloper, if you use the installer of pot, make sure that start you with JDK 1.7.

  (Should be fine if install you using the exe file).

  Try these steps and see if it helps:

  Step 1: Press the Windows key + R on the keyboard, type services.msc and press enter.

  Step 2: You can get the Print Spooler Service in the window and double-click it.
  Step 3: Check if the Startup type is set to Automatic. If this isn't the case, set it to automatic and restart your PC.
  Step 4: Check if the Print Spooler Service restarts automatically on reboot (given that the startup type is set to automatic).

  Step 5: Also check if the status shows running under the status column in the print spooler service.

  I use an envy TouchSmart 15 and I just launched an update of Windows based on the automatic system update 8.1 (he ran 5 updates).

  I would firstly you welcome on the HP Forums!

  Thanks for sharing the troubleshooting steps that you already have, and I say you are right that the issue is not with the HDMI cable or the 27 "monitor. From what you described in your post, it sounds as if he is with the drivers, maybe a conflict.

  I would like to begin with the installation of the original video drivers supplied with your laptop. I've included the document "using Recovery Manager to restore the software and drivers (Windows 8)". Please follow the steps to reinstall everything video original drivers. After you have installed the original drivers, restart your computer.

  Now, once the computer is restarted, you will need to install the updates that are available for HP and Windows. You can install both of them through the HP Support Assistant. I've included the document 'using HP Support Assistant (Windows 8)'. Scroll to the bottom of the page on to Midway, and you should see an option for the updates and the updates. Please follow the options for HP and Windows updates.

• Audio not working do not after Windows 8.1 update

  A few days ago that I have updated Windows 8.1 evaluation to the full version 8.1 and since then my audio doesn't work. In Control Panel, "Digital Audio display (AMD high definition Audio Device)" is listed as disconnected. The audio icon on the taskbar is XE out and clicking on it works the finder error in vain. Speakers no longer appear in the list of devices well now that nothing works I don't know if they have ever or if the audio comes through display Digital Audio. Headphones do not present as playback device and the volume on the keyboard controls and the taskbar are not accessible. I've never used external speakers.
  
  Windows 8.1 update seemed to wipe all my software HP and AMD came with the laptop so I reinstalled the HP support center and looked for a driver updated and all that jive, but all also shows to date. I don't know what else to look for because most of the forums I've seen seem to speak of their output HDMI sound does not work when it is connected to a TV and I just try to have sound, period.

  Try the following.

  Download IDT Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

  One time finished, open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open sound, video and game controllers.  If you see a very similar entry for (or entry of IDT) IDT HD Audio , right click on the device and select uninstall - you should also get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.  If there is no input IDT, go just below.

  When you're done, shut down the laptop, unplug the AC adapter and then remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

  Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f5 to load the default values (sometimes it's f9, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

  Allow Windows to fully - charge it will automatically load an audio driver, but let just this complete.  Then open your download folder, right-click on the IDT Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once this done, do a right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select playback devices.  'Speakers and headphones' left click once to highlight, and then click the Set Default button - check if you now audio.

• mount_webdav does not not after 10.11.6 updating

  I have a startup script that uses the mount_webdav command to mount webdav 2 slots in the /Volumes directory.  The script ran fine on the previous updates of El Capitan, Yosemite, and Maverick.  The script no longer works after update (10.11.6).  I have 2 empty editing file in the directory /Volumes , no visible beneath them files and no desk mount disk icons.  So I screwed up everywhere, and here's what I have observed.

  • Restart the machine and reset PRAM has not helped.
  • The mount_webdav works sporadically, occasionally, one of the webdav location must obtain mounted correctly, but still rarely.
  • Running the mount_webdav commands manually didn't work.
  • I can mount the same spot 2 by going to the Finder menu and use go > connect to server..., no issues here.
  • So here's the kicker, if I get one of the car (we'll tell B of A & B) using go > connect to server....  I then disconnect mount B.  I run the script, trying to get both A & B, B installs successfully.  Works spare also, to climb a first, disconnect, and then run the script, A will ride with success.

  Seems something is different between the connection to the server... and the mount_webdav, and something is cached?  In any case, just a few more details.  WebDAV is on a public hosting service, I am authenticating with username and password over HTTPS, and there is a custom port #.  I don't think I've changed any security or network settings on my Mac, only the update.  I put ISP recently, but I guess if it is problem, go > connect to server... wouldn't work also.  Help!  Thank you!

  What do you mean by 'startup script. The only official "startup scripts" have been declared obsolete more ten years ago. They continued to work until a couple of years. What OS version updated you go?

  WebDAV is not well supported more. The rumors are that Apple is declining even its own standard Microsoft Protocol (http://appleinsider.com/articles/13/06/11/apple-shifts-from-afp-file-sharing-to-smb2-in-os-x-109-mavericks) file sharing network. I suggest you do the same.

  strange experience that I wanted to stress with you all.

  I just had an update (this morning) to What's New build 3.0.A.0.2

  After you install this hotfix / update, then told me that "editing" is available for download. Build is 5.0.A.0.12

  I'm worried I have not had this app on my phone before - archive system applications reveals this is a new installation, rather than an update of an existing application.

  Also, I did not how to make it work, because there is no app on my home screen shortcuts. The app is not visible in the drop-down list app (when adding new items to my homescreens) either. Nor is the application in the list of main application (accessed with the key 6 points to the center of the permanent Panel shortcut on the home screen).

  I even tried to use a very useful app "quick shortcut maker" and even if I find photo editor in his list of activities, when I test the generated shortcut, unfortunately, I get "the photo editing software has stopped."

  Any ideas?

  Photo Editor is a system application only, it can be used when editing photo app to your Album or Photo. For example, if you go to Album > tap a photo > press the bottom icon that looks like a pencil on paper > Photo retouching tap.

  Try resetting your device. This will not erase your data stored on that device.

  • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
  • Press and hold the Home button
  • Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.

  Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings
