Videos suddenly not displayed to the top.

The other day I had some videos that should rose in Windows Media Player start coming upwards to QuickTime. I changed a few settings, and they have finished working. HOWEVER, now I find some sites that have embedded the video does not show the video - there is an empty space where the video would be generally (and where the video IS when I open the site in Chrome). I'm afraid I missed something and tried to redefine things to QuickTime, but nothing I've tried has fixed this. Is an example of a site where this is happening here: http://www.entrepreneuressacademy.com/ I had left that open in a tab "to watch later", but when I'm near him (I didn't realize that it was just a 30 second clip), the video did not exist in FireFox. I tried the reset options, close and restart FireFox, etc., but this (and other) embedded videos are suddenly not there (once again, in FireFox, they well in Chrome, etc.). Also - embedded YouTube videos seem to work perfectly... it's other types of embedded videos (which appears in FireFox) are now just spaces.

You are welcome.

Adobe and Mozilla are working together on a way to solve this problem.

It happened suddenly, one day OK then not! At the top of the screen, I get the normal icon of pre, File, Edit, Clip, etc..

First 13 elements absolutely works with Windows 7!

In fact, I highly recommend you download the free trial version and give it a test run.

In the meantime, go to Windows Update and make sure you have all the updates of Windows, including those who do not automatically install it. Then go to the website of ATI / nVidia and ensure that you have the latest driver for your graphics card and go to Apple.com and ensure you have the latest version of Quicktime, by the requirements of the program.

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system. For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver, description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.

Control Panel device - graphics card configuration-manager - note the brand and complete model of your graphics driver - double-click - tab - write version information. Now, click the driver update (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party with their own software and drivers and the other main device drivers you have.

Now go to the website of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restoration), then site of the manufacturer of the device (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Review of the BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system while there).

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - tab drivers version you install actually shows up. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat if necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

  • Files window is always displayed at the top

Since the upgrade to CC (could also be a problem in CS6, can't remember), files window is always displayed as the top of the window. I love having her fill a good part of my monitor so that I can easily see the files by ftp next to local files and also to see dates of the files. If I want to work in a particular file, I open, I have to close my sites window. Even more, when I leave Dreamweaver open in the background and switch to another application, the files window will always show above all else on my screen.

Is it possible to change this behavior, or should it be reported as a bug. I'm working on an iMac running Mountain Lion.

It seems after that run a lot of CC will update this morning, the problem seems to have disappeared now. Don't remember if Dreamweaver made the updates or not.

If resurface the problem, I downloaded Jing and will post a video cast of the question.

    Thanks for Sidney respondent.

  • Firefox will not display on the screen even though with Process Explorer, I see active Firefox.exe but no CPU usage

I use Firefox as default browser v10.0.2 on Dell XPS8300 Intel Core i5 and Windows 7 Ultimate and Compaq Presario CQ57 IO IO Intel Core i3 and Windows 7 Home. More frequently on the (approximately 90% of attempts) that Dell (50% of attempts) Firefox will not display on the screen when I click the icon. Cannot display other programs when it happens. I expressly say display because I believe that Firefox has started. To work around the problem, I installed Process Explorer on both machines and launch this program first, then click on the Firefox icon. When the problem occurs I see process Firefox.exe in the list of processes; some CPU consumed but, then, no CPU activity. If I click on the Firefox icon, yet another process opens in the list of processes, but with the same answer - some consumed CPU and then no CPU activity. If I have 2 processes running and kill the process from the 1st, the 2nd poster and then everything is normal. If I do not open it treat a 2nd, but kill the 1st process then click the Firefox Firefox is displayed and all then is normal. This problem has occurred since the original on the two new machines installation. I have updated the video drivers on both computers.

OK, let's see if we can solve this problem and make it work for you!

First of all, if you start Firefox in safe mode (restart your computer first, then when you open Firefox, hold down the SHIFT key) it starts more reliable? This is usually caused by a defective module. If this does not help, then restart Firefox, go to the Firefox, then add-ons button and disable your extensions one by one until you find the troublemaker.

Also, try to update to Firefox 11, it has several bug fixes that might make life easier here.

Just as a few troubleshooting steps base to ensure that we have all the bases covered,
