  We're sorry, but Sony cameras that do not have an internal memory cannot save pictures taken when there is no inserted memory card.   Hello! I bought my Z3c two days ago and now I have problem with his camera. When I start it, it's ok and suddenly the picture freezes, camera continues to function, but I have this image frozen on the screen until I restart the camera.

  I'm having a problem with some code that runs on Android 2.3 4.4 and iOS 5-7.  In short, he calls the getPicture of camera api method which managed returns a file URI.  An example of this URI is as follows:

• How to display all the other images in the image indicator

  I use IMAQ for capture and record high freq and images high resolution. I have an indicator of image directly from 'Image Grab acquire'. Thus, the indicator image displays images at very high frequency too. To display frames, but not necessarily all alone (enough so that the operator can see what's happening). So, I wonder how I can view, say all the other images (for example all the odd/even number of images), or jump on two and show the third?

  Here are some general observations.

  • Image acquisition is "a horse of a different color" - in contrast to many other I/o devices, the memory containing the data (here called the "buffer") is handled by the driver and is not directly available for LabVIEW.
  • I'm guessing that you are using hardware OR video, because you use the IMAQ functions (I used only IMAQdx).  Is this true?  What camera do you use?
  • The (probably) "Awakenings" IMAQ extraction buffer herself to the camera (I say 'probably' because I don't know the hardware you use).  This means that While the loop containing it will work at the rate of the camera images (so you can easily calculate the frame rate, as your example code).

  This looks like a routine NI Demo, so I think that you don't have much experience with the treatment of Vision.  If you have a lot of other LabVIEW experience, you should be able to make the leap to the vision, once you have the idea of the functioning of the buffers.  Unfortunately, there isn't much in the way of tutorials and white papers on Vision than on other subjects of LabVIEW.

  Yes to your question - how to view every Nth frame.  This is the loop key (which arises directly from your code):

  Hi Mohammed sorry for the delay in response to I am new to the Forum and could not find my way.   Looks like an incomplete picture, this could be caused by the missing packets.  To prevent missing packets when the acquisition, you can do two main things: the size of the packets configured on the camera may not exceed what the network card can manage and ensure that the bandwidth of the output of the camera image data do not saturate interface band bandwidth.  I would reduce the packet size of camera for 1500 initially to determine if the size of the package is the cause of the problem.  You can throttle how much data that the camera can send by manipulating the interpacket delay, some manufacturers have a very handy feature called StreamBytesPerSecond.  According to what mechanism, you can use, increase interpacket delay or reduce StreamBytesPerSecond.

  But sometimes, when I try to access the camera after that the phone is in standby mode, no image is displayed on the screen and getSnapshot() returns no image data. It turns out that this also happens with the native camera application (the user interface is there, but no camera picture), except that the native camera app finally gets the image of the camera (it can take from 1 second to 5 or more). Once the native camera app becomes the camera image, this also works in my MIDlet.

  I can't use the camera application native from my app needs a user interface customized for the screen where the snapshot is taken.
