  This is more or less normal.  If you ever remove the portable computer from the docking station, he would remember the settings.  But given that you change your primary display to the external monitor (a bit like using only an external and by closing the lid on the laptop), when you restart your computer on the dock, he can't find where to view your desktop so it resets the LCD on the laptop (as opposed to only get a white screen).

  It should work, as long as you:

  1. Have the tools installed and up-to-date

  2. Using XP or newer (some Linux distributions also work, but do you care no doubt thereon)

  3. Selected "View > use all displays full-screen" (if you are using full-screen). No changes are required for the mode of the unit.

  Virtual machines replicas are locked to prevent the administrator to change them. You can unlock the replica by using a command on the composer of the view (SviConfig), however I do not know how this will affect your linked clones.

  It may be better to just recompose your clones linked against a new replica in the good portgroup / network.

  Hello, had a problem of slowness that I don't know how to solve problems.  ISE 2.0 patch3, AnyConnect 4.3.02

  My setup is Anyconnect which is already on the computer windows laptop 10, EAP with TLS chaining for authentication of the host and PEAP for user auth.  ISE Posture checks for windows AV defs and AV windows install.  AnyConnect has 'start before logon' installed and * just work *.  Boots of the user, auths from the machine before the connection of the user, user logs in and ISE Posture check runs and passes.  The user gets the green checkmark on the line.

  With a little problem.  At the time wherever the user types the password and hit enter, the grip of the Welcome screen for about 45 to 60 seconds, a few rare occasions longer, my high water line is 1 minute 12 seconds.  Meanwhile machine auth and auth user spend with the unknown state of compliance in the live of the radius of ISE log.  Then welcome screen disappears and the bureau paints (finally), at this time, the machine cannot access anything on the network, 5 seconds later the Anyconnect client starts.  1 second later the bumps network connection, and the analysis of the Posture of ISE in the Anyconnect client starts.  Analysis of the Posture of the ISE takes about 7-10 seconds to complete.  After that everything is good and the user can access the network.

  Do you have the port in a vlan to auth machine and then change once the machine and the user connects? Also, you will probably need to open any acl you apply while the posture is 'unknown '. It is usually due to some AD access that is blocked.

  I use Acrobat Standard on Windows 7. I have the package of bridges with other Adobe products.

  I have a large number of PDF files in different folders. Most of the documents is the fields of metadata for the author, title, etc. completes. A small percentage do not have this information.

Bridge shows the XMP schemas related to the photos and videos (EXIF and IPTC) - he ignores the specific PDF entries, and there is no tool to display metadata in bulk in the Acrobat family.

  I have a problem with the desktop exactly seen on the desktop on another monitor to display. When I press ctrl + F5, and then select the two crt and laptop lcd, crt screen is totally out of sync. I tried different monitors, LCDs, with different properties of the resolution. I've updated the drivers. Still the same problem. The kicker is this, attach and display my desktop to another monitor works. It identifies correctly, and the resolution is correct. However do a mirror of my office does not work.   You could also checked the settings of display properties (right click on the desktop and properties), go to options and then advanced GeForce 5200...

  When I click the icon "Cycle multiple monitors", I get the message "VMware Workstation does not support the multiple monitors feature in other guests."  Google found me no hits on it.  Anyone know what that means or how I could get multiple monitors to work?

  The host OS is Windows 7 Professional x 64 with service pack 1 applied.  The guest operating system is Debian Linux, version 8, also 64-bit.

  With your virtual machine turned off the power, go into the settings of your virtual machine and on the Options tab, under general, select the client OS type: Linux > Debian 7 64-bit.  Then try to turn your virtual computer and see if it works.  (8 debian is quite close to Debian 7.)

• Start bar begins on a bad office in a multiple monitor configuration.

  I have my Windows 7 Home Premium machine series upwards with two monitors extended desktop display. I'm having a problem where sometimes, when I restart the computer, the start menu begins on the secondary display even if the icons are correctly located on the main display. I have to disable the secondary display and reactivate to solve this problem. It's extremely annoying; y at - it a fix for this problem?

  Rather than the deactivation and reactivation of the secondary display, follow these steps:

  1 - Check that the second screen is defined as primary in the resolution options.

  2 - the next time you experience the misplaced taskbar, unlock the taskbar (by clicking on the right) and then dragging it to the correct location.  The taskbar will remember this post - that it cannot do when it is placed automatically during the installation of multiple monitors.

  Hello. Sorry for the delay... I must have missed your response earlier...

  Well, then it seems that X is configured correctly. If you look in the vmware.log, you'll find that we detects resolutions and numbers of monitors.

  The real problem is the Manager of windows, and here's why... So far last year, it was not a formal way to say a window manager, "hey, I want this window to be full screen and I want to extend over multiple monitors." So we have some 'interesting' hacks in our code that try to force windows to do managers, even if they do not want. The results can vary from complete hell (Compiz) to slightly irritating (Openbox, apparently ;) =). Last year, some of my colleagues added the NETWM_FULLSCREEN_MONITORS indicator window to the EWMH (http://snurl.com/dxbi6) specification Manager so that we have now a clean way to do it.

  In the past months, we have seen this suspicion becomes available in KDE 4.2.0 and Compiz 0.8 XFWM4 4.6.0. It has also been accepted in the Metacity svn repo and must do it in the next version of GNOME/Metacity. I do not think that Openbox supports this indication (for information, run this command: NETWM_FULLSCREEN_MONITORS xprop-root").

  So, the thing is that our small fullscreen/multimon hacks that have been put in place before NETWM_FULLSCREEN_MONITORS do not seem to work always well with Metacity and KWin, but not with most other window managers. It seems that the Openbox is the one who does not want to stretch a window full screen beyond the limits of the current screen.

  The only short-term solution is to run a Manager Windows that plays well with our old fullscreen/multimon hacks (Metacity and KWin), either an execution the most recent window managers that I mentioned above, that support NETWM_FULLSCREEN_MONITORS. The solution long term for Openbox is that it must support the NETWM_FULLSCREEN_MONITORS EWMH indicator, and it would probably be a good idea for you to file a bug with the Openbox project on this subject so that they can start working on it.

  Sorry for the long-winded speech, but I wanted to provide as much information as possible and not appear as one of these "it is your fault... This isn't us... etc." people.
