  Hi guys,.

  Discussions on our new found access to MLUTs and the AE CINE was great, thanks for all the info fascinating so far. So forgive me if this has already been covered, but I have two questions:

  (A).. .for MLUTs in the viewfinder to be of any practical, why use the waveform monitor and the Zebra reacts to the MLUT when applied, as opposed to the same as if the MLUT has not been applied to all? IE - as an image in the viewfinder as slog2 sgamut my Zebra / wave give me information of the exhibition which is very useful (next to my light meter) but when I apply, say, the REC709 MLUT of the VF, news of Zebra and waveform to adapt to the new image - so REC 709 points out, blow and my zebras tell me now that the parts of the image is blown... But I'm still recording to SxS cards like sLog2 sLog2 - so, in reality, this info is not get blown at all.

  So what I mean: the REC709 MLUT is ideal to boost the brightness etc. in the viewfinder and makes the image easier on the eye than the image dark sLog2, but I always feel like my tools of exposure to expose properly for the image being recorded to the card (in this case sLog2). I hope that all makes sense... Accept others, or am I missing something here?

  and the second point is:

  (B).. .throughout all the upgrades for the camera by setting the number 2 zebras at 109% don't turn on for me in the VF, despite an image being obviously blown. No more than 108%, or 107%. However the zebras behave corectly to 106% and will show the 'Zebra lines' when the image is burned.

  Is there a reason why 109% zebras does not illuminate, or am I missing something here too?

  could you please change your message header to match the content of you post.

  in the A6300, you can change the way in which the camera automatically switches between NET & screen in

  Menu custom (cog symbol): FINDER/MONITOR.

  with a little luck, you have the same menu on the 7Sii.

  Is there a way to keep the viewfinder of dimming when a subject is backlit. I can't quite see the subject in frame/manual. Tried the effect live power no difference.   Indeed, you will need to disable the Live View Display] setting if you want the electronic viewfinder as an optical viewfinder. Please go to [Menu] - Custom Menu 3 - Live View Display] - [setting OFF effect].

  If you are still having difficulties in framing and focus on your subject, the backlight can be too strong. You can try to compensate by adjusting the brightness of the LCD screen and the viewfinder. Please go to [MENU] - Setup Menu 1 - [LCD Brightness] or [viewfinder Bright.] - [manual]. Subsequently, you can increase the brightness level according to your preference.

  Try to connect your 70 d to the Canon EOS utility and see how it works from there.

  In mode P, pushing the macro selector makes appear normal and manual options, BUT no sign of the icon of the flower?

  It's weird, I have 2 SX50 and can't reproduce your problem or be in the manual.

  I would try to do a reset to the default values in the settings menu to erase everything you have perhaps set by mistake

• debris on the viewfinder

  Recently decided on the Canon T3i on Nikon. After conversion unboxing found what looks like a large spec of debris on the viewfinder.  Looks like the spec is inside the glass of the viewfinder.  In reading the different posts on this problem of camera /, it seems that it is quite common.  The fans were not working.

  Question:

  What are the chances of getting a camera that has no debris/dust/dirt on the inside and who appears in the image or viefinder?

  Is there a fix for what I can do myself?

  I don't want to look back to get a unit of the worst questions... or several specifications.  That would drive me crazy.   I'm a little OCD as with such things.

  I think that the question that arises here is why are there dust inside a brand new camera out-of-the-box?  Was it a failure with Canon QC?  Was this an opportunity and returned item?  It was a demo or display item?  Good luck, it's just a fluke and nothing else is wrong with the camera, but no one knows who for sure.

  Regardless of whether or not it can be cleaned by blowing brush, I would not be happy spend hundreds or thousands on a camera to find it came preloaded with dust.  If it were I would go back.  Furthermore, if I bought a questionable dealer, I would be requesting a refund and take my business elsewhere.

  At the very least, I send to Canon for a deep cleaning and tested it.  Good luck.

• window of the camera does not transfer images sx50 hs

  Camera software window provided with the SX50 hs on a 10 installed windows system.  I use the same cable that I use on my EOS 1200D but the images don't transfer the SX50 hs but work fine on the EOS 1200D.  So I'm confused or something wrong?

  Once on our site, scroll down to "Drivers and downloads" and make sure that your operating system has been correctly detected. Then click on 'Software' to see the available software updates.

  Search for "CameraWindow DC 8.10.4a for Windows" then click on the [Select] button to its right.  Now click on "How to download and install" for information on installing.
