  There is no virus affecting the os x in the wild. And it is unlikely that you have been hacked - it's much more likely that someone has taken over your email address and send spam using as the address "from"; It is a very common practice. It's how you receipt of the e-mails apparently yourself - spam with Zip files is still prevalent, but usually he pretends to be an invoice or other document. In fact, it is malware, but probably only affecting Windows - do not open it, of course.

  It's infuriating when someone uses your address in this way, but there is not really anything you can do about it. Usually it stops after some spammers moving on to address some other victim.

• What impression Firefox does not open the print dialog window

  When printing to our office, we often print on several printers, not just the default printer. When you print in Firefox, however, printing is automatically sent to the default printer and I do not get a print dialog window.   Some web pages do not print to PDF after Firefox Version 8. The result is incomplete PDF or progress printing stops at a certain point and Firefox is stuck.   This page print to PDF for me in 17 Firefox on Windows 7 x 64 - I tested pdfFactory Pro and PDF Creator.

  Could you also try to disable graphics hardware acceleration? I don't know if this affects printing at all, but just in case.

  You need to restart Firefox for it to take effect, so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).

  In the mini ' General' tab, uncheck the box for "use hardware acceleration when available.

  A standard Diagnostics in order to avoid interference by extensions (and some custom settings) is to try Mode without failure of Firefox.

  Toshiba external hard drive is configured with two partitions. Main is 290 GB for backup data.
  Small partition shows as a CD drive and contains the ONSPEC program (which I don't use).

  The Shield Deluxe continuous anti-virus program to tell me there is a virus affecting a file in the small partition. The file affected (allegedly) is \Driver\SwitchFK.exe.

  The virus is supposed to be Email - Worm.Win32.nyxem.e
  I can not remove this file or even the program Onspec. Setup as a CD player gives me a message saying that the disk (the small partition) is not able to write to.

  Even tried using Linux (Knoppix), but could not do the thing to remove.
  So I have a password called drive, which seems to be a bad guy.

  Set - up to print wirelessly, I had a race with this model until recently of dream & I don't remember any event that affects all of a sudden it.

  My wife's cell phone is not affected & print very well.

  HP Diagnostics initially sorted a shift of the port but after a fix - up it still will not print.

  If the printer can print from your Android smartphone, then you are correct, that the problem is with the laptop running Windows 7.
