Visitor to connect to unique members area

New to Dreamweaver without skills other than html coding. I'm building a site with different members areas and different levels of access. Has begun a test using php site, set up my database (phpMySQL), fields username, password, access. Dreamweaver is connected to my database, but the server behavior parameters appears to allow a unique landing page. With the help of php can I send a visitor to a page based on their user name? I read that Cold Fusion could manage this, but my server can't see any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, but it is to make a minor change in the Code view. Apply the newspaper
In the server behavior the user using an ordinary page. For the sake of this
example, call the menu.php.

In Code view, locate the following line:

$MM_redirectLoginSuccess = "menu.php";

Change to this:

$MM_redirectLoginSuccess = "$loginUsername.php";

This step will redirect the user to a page that uses his user name. For
example, if the user name is powers, it will redirect a successful login
to dpowers.php.

If you want to redirect to another folder, you can add the rest of
the relative path inside the quotes, for example:

$MM_redirectLoginSuccess = "... / users / $loginUsername.php";

  • Registered to a members area users can update their account details?

Hello. We have been invited to build a members area. Once that Member has logged required to be able to update their information, change password and change any subscription email, they can be purchased. Is this achievable in British Colombia? I have not found anywhere in BC docs telling me if this is possible.

    Appreciate any advice on this.

    Thank you.

    Grant

A customer can view their case and order history and update their contact information:

    http://docs.BusinessCatalyst.com/user-manual/site-design/secure-zones/managing-customer-in training-with-fix-areas
Opt-out possible only in the messages themselves. If you want a form that a user submits to register to different things, you can create a page under a securezone to do.

You can't update credit card details because BC does not store credit card details in the system.

Yes, it would be the same. However, you need to make sure that it is exactly the same adobe id with which you made the purchase.

  • How to hide a menu option unless the user is connected to a specific area of Secure

Is it possible to hide a menu option and it display only if a user is logged into a secure area?

I know that I can add pages to secure areas so that no one can navigate to this page unless the information is recorded in the secure area, but I also want to show a menu in the main menu option, if the user is connected to a secure area.

Perhaps I could address the issue with CSS to hide the menu option and show only if {module_isloggedin} but it would mean that any user who is connected to any secure area would then see this menu option.

    Is it possible to do?

    Hi David,

The traditional way was to use JS and CSS in combination with the module_subscriptions module which is a bit tricky, more information on the module here:

{module_subscriptions} | Developers of business catalyst

However, now with the liquid that is much easier and safer (as is the side Server). Using the same output of module in liquid form in the collection:

  • How do you dynamically check if all child members are missing?

    Hi all

How do you dynamically check if all child members are missing?

for example the threshold does not work because you cannot directly use member sets in an IF statement.

    IF ((@CHILDREN ("Profit") == #MISSING))

If I list explicitly all the children in the IF statement, it will work, but there is a lot of hard code.

    Thanks in advance.

    Darren

I'm sure that (I have not tested) who...

    @SUM (@CHILDREN ('profit'))

.. work - @SUM will commandeer a member set.  And as the sum of a set will be #Missing if all the members of the set are also #Missing that is the desired result.

Quite frequently, the size of accounts will be dynamic at all higher levels, which means that you could just test 'Profit', but I guess that is not the case here.

  • When exporting data to essbase with L0 members, shared members are also get exported.

Hi, when exporting data to essbase with L0 members, shared members are also get exported.

But I don't want to export another hierarchy!

    Example:

    project

    XYZ +.

    ABCD +.

    P00001 +.

    p00002 +.

    GFE +.

    p00003 +.

    p00004 +.

    all the xyz (Label only)

    ABCD (shared member)

    EFG (shared member)

    I want data to be exported only with P00001, 2, 3, 4.

I think that the OP cannot use Level0 in DATAEXPORTOPTIONS, because not all dimensions are zero-level.

Cameron, thanks - Yes, it's the behavior of the OP is seen (and disliking).  The share of 'level zero' which is in fact not level zero (in the primary hierarchy) is included in the output.  I think it's the problem rather than replication / repetition.

  • Client unique patches are specific?

    Hello

Client unique patches are specific? I have a document that lists the patches applied at Oracle on the existing server, and I have to apply the same to fixes a new server that I am building. I tried all of the fixes listed, but impossible to find the "punctual" patch listed by research.

    Please let me know.

    Best regadds

    Two points:

    1. copies of all patches should have been kept on the server (or in a library of source code).  This patch should be available.

But some sites / DBA just don't take the precautions required to maintain patches!

    2. for a single stamp, it is likely that it is available for download for only a few weeks, with a required password for download (it's my experience when I asked for specific one-off tasks for my site).  You have to raise a SR with Oracle's Support for access to the patch again.

  • volumes for OrgUnit or group of members are created every 4 hours

    Hello

By default, the volumes of the new OrgUnit or members of the group are created every 4 hours.

Is it possible to control / change this time?

The 4-hour polling period is not editable. However, please note that this is just for the pre-creation of the writable for users. If a new user is added between the voting periods that a write will be create on the fly for this user. So the first connection may take a little longer, they should always get writing as expected.

  • Apple Remote Desktop tries to connect to some weird areas

Firefox and osx elcapitan 10.11.4 15E65

It's so weird that lately my ARD tried to connect to areas randomly I searched on the web. Little Snitch reports she's trying to connect to 'gist.github' and the other day he tried to goto "krampus".  As I said it's strange behavior since it's the kind of thing I entered in google.

    All advice is appreciated.

I would be a little surprised if Apple Remote Desktop (ARD) have been connecting the specified web sites, you can post what Little Snitch reports as the source and the destination of the connection?  Also please post what version of Apple Remote Desktop (ARD) are you using?   3.8 (A 380, 95) is in course, at last I checked.

My general recommendation is to remove Little Snitch - this is a great tool, but it also tends to cause problems when network connections are blocked by mistake, and it's certainly excellent fodder for causing paranoia.

Adware and malware can cause this, but - if you connect to these sites and don't have adware or malware or any sort of anti-virus or anti-malware, or other similar types of tools tools additional loading - I guess it's OS X hides a tile or such.

Here is a previous related discussion - even if it is not of the ARD.

  • Satellite Pro M70-132: excellent WiFi connection but the pings are slow

    Hi all...
My Satellite Pro M70-132 have problems with Wi - Fi connections (WiFi built in)... Generally, when the connection is excellent (indicator of windows), the pings are slow - very long time: 1212ms, 325ms, 645ms, 2112ms, 91ms, s 168ms... etc 'demand time limit has expired' (or sth like this).
I have updated with the latest version of the Intel WiFi driver - it does not work...
I installed new system - it does not work...

Is it possible, that LAN WiFi is dead on my M70-132? How can I check before sending my 'Toshi' to the service?

(BTW - built-in Bluetooth has been switched off...)

I was tempted to access with several AP and also ad hoc. Every time, same results... connection strong-great but pings are slow... and often ping timeout...

The IP address has been set manually and automatically - it does not work... too multidimensional :-(

It's not metter WEP encryption is enabled, 'on' or 'off' and no authentication method does not change the situation with WLAN...

    Hello

If the work of WLan connection and you are connected to the router so I guess everything's ok.
Time to ping depends on not always the strength of the signal.

If you ping other ip on the net if the time depends on the provider and type of connection.
But if you ping your WLan router and it s very slow so it s a bit strange.

If you think there could be something wrong with the Wlan card then you can try asking for help ASP.

  • Satelite C50 - B cannot connect to wireless local area network

My brand new straight out of the box Satelite C50 - B cannot connect to my wireless network, when you are running Windows 8.1.

When you run the wizard for the first time user, it was unable to connect to my network to register. And I have been unable to connect after starting the OS, even if my thread was visible and the signal strength would be strong. I entered the security network key, but the message came back "unable to connect to this network.

However, when I started on a USB key to run Linux Mint 17.1, it took less than 5 seconds to connect to my wireless network. If the Toshiba hardware work properly, as also my wireless LAN.

If I plug in a network cable, same Windows connects to my network and Internet.

However, given that the C50 - B satellite comes with Windows 8.1 both of wireless capabilities, I was hoping someone here might be able to help me get a wireless connection in Windows.

It's really strange. I have S50 - B and WLAN works properly. I used my laptop connected to several different networks and everything was OK.
You can try to test with different wireless LANs?
Have you checked all the WLAN settings?
    Try restarting your router.

I mean if your laptop can detect WLAN, this means that the hardware is enabled and working properly. There must be a problem with the WLAN settings.

Also check the advanced power settings, and then set it to maximum power WLAN.

  • When I click on a link to seend an email to someone, I get an erro message which indicates that the yahoo mail server can not connect and my messages are not sent.

    Problems sending messages.

When I click on a link to seend an email to someone, I get an erro message that says that this yahoo mail server can not connect

and my messages are not sent. I have a total of 9 messages that have been blocked.

Do I need to have a pop3 address or can you tell me what is happing.

You must have an account set up under Tools | Accounts | Mail to send from Windows Mail.  If you click on a link, it will not lead you to a webmail interface, but called instead a mail client, such as WinMail.  Around that, the only way is to copy the email address and paste it into a new message you have composed of webmail.
