  • Bluetooth Driver required for DROIDX on Windows Vista 64-bit

I don't know what version of the android OS that I use, but for me, my wife bought my DROIDX on December 19, 2010.

I have discovered and twinning between HDLaptop and my DROIDX, but I can't seem to connect.  Since combining upward, I get a message from Windows Vista 64-bit:

"Windows needs to install driver software for your Bluetooth device.

    My options are:

Locate and install driver software (recommended)

    Ask me later

Do not show this message for this device

When I have Windows looking for the solution it always fails.  As I usually am connection and go to work, I usually choose ask me later.  But I just restarted and there is only the screen asking me all over again.

But, in this sense, I bought a Samsung WEP460 handsfree.  I can't get the DROIDX to see this thing at all, but I just got paired up with my HDLaptop.

When searching on the internet for a device for my droidx bluetooth driver, I noticed that everybody seemed to have driver problems with 64 bit versions of Windows Vista or Windows 7.

It's apparently a nagging question that must always be treated, or everything what is the big deal here?

Thanks, I await your help to solve this issue...

  • problems of Bluetooth on my hp with windows vista 64-bit edition

I have a hp and a vista 64 - bit edition operating system I installed a bluetooth device on my laptop and I get a message that says that hiddata.exe has stopped working properly and a bluetooth device not connected icon in my taskbar all solutions?

    Hi SapperDdy,

Welcome to the Microsoft answers site!

    (a) what Bluetooth device do you use? Who is the manufacturer of the device?

    (b) who is the manufacturer of the computer?

This problem can occur if there is a conflict between a Bluetooth device that is connected to a USB port and non-Microsoft software installed on the computer.

This problem can also occur if the basic components USB (Universal serial bus) on the windows vista operating system is damaged or corrupted.

I suggest you try the following steps:

Step 1: Download and install the Cumulative Update, see link below

Rollup cumulative update for USB in Windows Vista Basic components

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/941600/

    If the problem persists,

Step 2: Run the fixit provided in the link below.
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/tips-for-solving-problems-with-USB-devices

Step 3: Uninstall and reinstall the driver Bluetooth:

A Bluetooth firmware obsolete or outdated device driver may be causing the HIDData.exe has stopped working error.

You must be logged on as administrator to perform these steps.

    1. open Device Manager by clicking the Start button, click on the Control Panel, clicking system and Maintenance, and then clicking Device Manager.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    2. in Device Manager, look for the Audio USB head set, and then double-click the device name.

    3. click on the driver tab and then click on uninstall the driver, and then follow the instructions.

Click on the link to re - install the drivers manually

Updated a hardware driver that is not working properly

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/update-a-driver-for-hardware-that-isn ' t-work correctly

Or visit the web site of the manufacturer for the latest device driver.

If the problem persists, please consult the manufacturer of the device for more information.

Btootherror, you can follow the same steps above to solve the problem at hand.

Thank you, and in what concerns:

  • Telechareger 6.2, HotSync don't see Bluetooth connections, Vista 64-bit option

I got a new Dell Studio XPS with Vista Home Premium 64 - bit and discovered I couldn't sync USB with my Treo 755 p (Verizon). Since bluetooth sync has been recommended, I bought a Micro USB 2.0 Bluetooth IOGear GBU421-adapter and allowed the device to Windows search. When you are prompted by Windows to insert the disk to install the driver, I went on the Web of IOGear site and downloaded the latest software (WIDCOMM bluetooth software 5.5.0.4400 version released on 11-03-09 for Windows XP & Vista, 32 & 64-bit). Before installing this software, I had done a 'clean' uninstall of all Palm, such as ordered in these forums and did a restart of the computer. I installed the bluetooth software & configured to be 'discovered' and restart another. Finally, I downloaded Palm Desktop 6.2, installed and rebooted the computer again. However, HotSync Manager doesn't see Bluetooth as one of connection options. My Treo 755 p "sees" the computer when setting up bluetooth. Y at - he hope that I am able to synchronize this computer with my 755 p or am I forced to seek another smartphone? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

bonz1973: it worked! I am so relieved & happy after so many hours of frustration. I want to thank very you much for your reference to the messages #353 & #354 on 'Vista 64 Hotsync solution!' I want to share my experience that can help someone else. My comments are in brackets [] and take off those edwardek.

1 installed Palm v4.2 [I have found that I don't have to do]

    2 installed Palm v6.2

3 installed Palm Outlook 2007 [did not this part either since I'm using Outlook 2003]

    4 installation Bluetooth apps

    5. Insert the... dongle into the USB #6

[edwardek claims that he needed to use the USB #6 but my computer does not have a USB #6. Instead it divides many ports USB Hubs. What ' is more important that some software implements the Bluetooth to transmit on a COM port Mine was COM3. Films to see how your software installed adapter your Bluetooth device, see the Device Manager in Control Panel. It does not list "Bluetooth devices" where you can find the device, right click, choose Properties and see what the Bluetooth adapter USB port is in. However, Device Manager will appear also my Bluetooth under "Network adapters" and "Ports (COM & LPT)" which is important, because I had to configure HotSync using the serial port COM3. I think it depends on the Bluetooth software you get.]

    6. in your status bar (at the bottom of your PC screen) PC, right-click Hotsync Manager and select 'Settings' [Yes, you must configure your computer HotSync method.]

    7. wait for a long time (2 minutes) and of HotSync Manager window will appear. Because window click on 'Sign in' and when the window opens, click on "USB" (a check mark then), and then click COM (a check mark appears), under the present, you will see a menu drop-down pick list showing all ports. Select COM6.

[I don't have to wait at all HotSync display.] Yes, check the USB connection or connections series and at this point, a dialog box shows that the serial connection is COM3, corresponding to what was in the Device Manager. I suspect that some software actually creates a Bluetooth option that appears in the list of connections such as specify the instructions of PALM. [My software has not implemented the Bluetooth device is in this way and so I was totally frustrated of not find Bluetooth on the list of connections.]

    8. then configure your Bluetooth application and make sure that it is paired with your Treo (I assumed that everyone knows how to do that, but basically, you ensure the Bluetooth application sees your Treo (your name) and your Treo sees your PC (the PC name).) [Before this step, you configure your Treo therefore Bluetooth is ON and VISIBLE and you can see your computer as a device. I had a shortcut in my Bluetooth software in the PC bar next to the HotSync icon. [Once I had defined for USB connections and series to step 7 and the Treo is configured to be Visible, the computer saw my Treo using the name I had given him the Treo.]

    9. in your Treo start the HotSync, then on your Bluetooth application (Bluesoleil) made a right click on the Treo device and select Connect. You should then see if the 2 devices are connected and that the Exchange begins. [Yes, start the HotSync from your Treo.]

It worked for me and I hope this helps you synchronize your Treo and your 64-bit Vista. Thanks for everyone's input and help.

  • get the 0x400110020000100b error code while making the recovery of the system for windows vista 32 bit.

I tried to do a system restore on my laptop using the included recovery disks and had this error 0x400110020000100B. The drive looked pretty beaten last week so I ordered a new series. Hello:

See if you can make your own Vista installation disc if you can read the product key 25 character on the bottom of your laptop.

    Here's how:

If you are in a fault light but rewarding you can do yourself if you can read your product key of Vista on the PC of 25 characters.

You just download the 3 files you need on the link below and read all the instructions to create a Setup bootable DVD disk using imageburn.

Do not take into account the part of the text in the first screen shot about "extract the files in the folder of Vista."

The files were extracted already in this folder when you ran the X14.exe file by reading the text on top of the first screenshot.

The other thing I noticed is on the 4th page, where it shows Developer ID Microsoft Corporation. I had to type Microsoft Corporation in me, and then other codes already filled in.

When I went to compile the ISO file, ImageBurn gave a message on a WIM file, file and ISO, and if I wanted to burn it in a different format.

I selected no, make the ISO file.

It was not so hard to do. I burned both the disk of 64-bit and 32-bit disk in case I ever need them.

I tested both of them one my hp dc7100 CMT desktop PC, worked flawlessly.

When you enter the product key, he knows which version of Vista you have.

    http://en.community.Dell.com/support-forums/software-OS/w/microsoft_os/3317.2-3-Microsoft-Windows-v...

After you install Vista successfully, you can then install the drivers for your PC and driver page support.

    Hi Rocketron,

Sometimes patches seem to just have a hard time to proceed with the installation.  I have a fw for to look you at other things.  First of all, your Background Intelligent Transfer Services set to Automaticand started and Windows Update ? You can check these settings by typing services.msc in the search box of the start menu.

Sometimes in order to get patches to install correctly, you must perform these tasks manually.

    (1) Download Center to visit Microsoft: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/default.aspx.
    (2) search for each update code that begins with the letters "KB" and followed by a set of numbers (i.e. KB979309).
    3) click on the link for the download and then click on download and run.  You must accept the agreement and then click on continue.
    (4) repeat this process for each download of updates Windows could not install.
    (5) to rerun the update from Microsoft, click find updates.  If all goes well, it will show that you are completely patched.

If this does not work, try to run the Microsoft OneCare safety scanner.  Sometimes it will solve problems of hidden registry, or erase viruses can prevent the installation of patches: http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/center/whatsnew.htm. Click full service scan, and then Quick scan (full scan takes a long time to complete). Try the patches.

    Good luck
