• Vista Home Premium SP1 Reboot loop infinite, inaccessible Windows restore

  Problem: Update marked Service Pack 1 (I do not know the real KB #) sent my computer in an infinite loop.  After a reboot "3 3 0% complete configuration updates / don't turn off computer" appears and the percentage continues to 100%, the system reboots and repeat.  I left the computer to update last night and now he has been yet updated this morning.

  Is trying to solve: I studied what I can on this problem.  I tried to access the system restore via the following methods:

  1.   Do a repair disc to do a repair system restore / boot:

  As is the case with most computers/laptops these days, they do not come with good Vista disc to repair only the recovery disks.

  As your grave in the category above, download the ISO on the link provided and make a bootdisk of it.

  Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

  At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

  When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

  You can make a tool to restart system, System Restore, etc. with it.

• Windows Vista - > 7 install fail - reboot loop

  I have a Dell Inspiron 1545, Vista upgrade using the update of Win7 from Dell.  I used their upgrade wizard first, and he told me to inactivate iTunes, I did.  Regular upgrade disc then proceeded, who has had a series of restarts.  I wasn't sitting there watching all the bars and screen.

  Windows Vista Home Basic Edition will not boot to the Welcome screen. It keeps restarting loop. I tried to go into safe mode, but who does not start too. Loops of safe mode and return to the start screen.

  I have a dell laptop and I just restalled operating system. I had Windows Update set to automatically download and install. PC worked great until the next day (after the time programmed for automatic updates). I'm assuming that the started after some windows updates when installed. • Vista Home Premium Reboot Loop after automatic update of Windows

  I have a Compaq Presario F700.  We have recently installed Norton, set, and automatic updates Windows automatic backup options.  I have the system restore points all.  When you try to start the system goes to the Windows Error Recovery window.  If I choose Safe mode or safe mode with networking, the system reboots automatically.  When this happens, it load all the way to my connection profile.  There are two profiles (protected by password) on the computer, but both are administrator accounts.  When I connect each profile, the computer stops and automatically restarts (constantly).  I tried to do a restore of the system from the command prompt and of the recovery tool.  I tried repairing the windows system as well.  I went into the advanced boot options and tried several of them.  Any suggestions?  What is a virus or a windows update problem?

• Windows machine is in a constant reboot loop. HP has been working on the device and there is no hardware problem. Microsoft support said there are corrupted in windows files and we were able to repair windows.

  HP is sending me a CD to reboot for Vista and say these original files are on my hard drive. The risk is of losing all the data. I'm embarrassed to say I didn't have a backup or set a restore point in the years I've had the machine

  Cause

  One possible cause of this bug check is damaged drive. Corruption in the system of NTFS file or defective (sectors) on the hard disk can cause this error. Corrupted drivers SCSI and IDE may also compromise the ability to read and write to the disk system, so causing the error.

  Another possible cause is the depletion of memory pool non paged. If the nonpaged memory is exhausted, this error can shut down the system. However, during the indexing process, if the amount of memory available nonpaged pool is very small, another driver in nonpaged kernel memory in pool mode may also cause this error

  Solve the problem

  To solve a problem of hard drive corruption: Check Event Viewer for error of SCSI and FASTFAT (syslog) messages or Autochk (the application log) that might help determine the device or driver that generated the error. Try disabling any antivirus software or Disk Defragmenter tools that continually monitor the system. You must also run the diagnostics of material provided by the manufacturer of the system. For more information about these procedures, see the manual of your computer. RunChkdsk /f /r to detect and resolve any file system structural corruption. You must reboot the system before the start of the analysis of disk on a system partition.

  To solve a problem of impoverishment of nonpaged memory: Add new physical memory to the computer (which increases the amount of memory available to the kernel nonpaged pool), or reduce the number of files on the volume Macintosh (SFM) Services

  Schedule chkdsk to run at next boot (checkdisk).
