I was curious to know if anyone had a list of the command-line such as msconfig and regedit for vista Home premium. I had to leave school due to the fact of their being incriminated, and now I'm looking to go elsewhere.

  • How to hide the command-line on the scrreen Vista Boot start?

Equipped with Windows Vista.  Some had work done on my PC, and they ran a Vista repair to the problems.  Now when the computer starts, a few command lines appear on the screen until it dark.  Prefer not to see.

In the old days, I would simply move the Echo Off before these lines in the autoexec.bat file.  Understand that Vista works differently in what concerns the autoexec.bat file.

    Hello

This means that your computer is configured to boot from CD/DVD. There are 2 ways to avoid this screen.

    1. make sure that you start the computer with no CD/DVD in the drive.

    2. you will need to boot the computer into the BIOS and change the first boot of CD/DVD to hard drive device. To do this, you can contact the computer manufacturer and check.

Warning: modification of the BIOS / semiconductor (CMOS) to complementary metal oxide settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

  • Uninstall all the Vista service packs under the command line

I'm under Vista Business on a MacBook using Bootcamp. I could not restart successfully since it crashed (blue screen/memory image) and I am only able to boot from the Vista disc. I tried a variety of repair (points, connecting the command-line etc. of various tools for restore) and any options the these were unsuccessful.

I decided that my next course of action is to reinstall Vista on top of my files and settings using the options of installation and upgrade from Vista installation disc.

I encountered a problem in that the upgrade option is not available and I understand that it is because the service pack (installation completely up-to-date) version that I am trying to upgrade is newer than the version on the installation disc. I obviously need to uninstall all updates so that it works, but the only way I have to do this is the command line.

I don't know the syntax to do this, and several examples I found online do not work. Can someone help me with this - it would be greatly appreciated! As this is a Bootcamp installation I can access the Windows partition from the partition of the Apple OS if I need to check the locations of files etc.

    Thank you!

  • Need help to use a diskpart command line to create a partition.

Original title: diskpart question - please help

I really need help with the diskpart commands, so I hope someone can help out me. I recently sold a pc on ebay which would include a 320 GB HARD drive. I didn't want to take any chances on the data being restored from the disk I did a "clean up" the disk to be sure.

Seeing how it would take time, I started after work and went to bed. During the night the XP machine, it worked on that decided to do an update and restart. Long story short, I have more the diskpart command line to create the new partition and format the disk, and I can't (don't know how) get machine XP or 7 to recognize the drive.

I do not think that it will hire at all, but the reader is sitting in a docking station and mounted in the machine. If someone could help me I would be very happy. If you can give me a list of commands that I need to get this drive back to normal and ready to ship (so the buyer can easily load their own OS) I would be eternally gratefull.

Is there another way besides as diskpart to get the disk to format so I can send it ready for the new owner to install its own operating system?

    Hello

Step 1: Format your hard drive using the Installation disc.

If you have the installation disc, you can format the hard drive.

To do this, follow the steps below:

    (a) place the installation disk in the system tray.

    (b) restart the system using the installation disc. (This is commonly known as booting from the installation disc).

    (c) during the installation process, you can re-partition and reformat your hard drive

Note: the process will erase your files and programs, so remember to make backups of your data files and the program before you start.

    Check out the link:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/installing-and-reinstalling-Windows-7

You can try following the steps from the link below

    Hello

    1. This occurs when you use a specific application or all applications?

2 did you a recent software or changes to the material on the computer?

    3. have you installed all versions of Visual studio?

    4. What is the finished message, that you have found?

You can try to perform a clean boot and see if it helps.

A clean boot to check if startup item or services to third-party application is causing this issue.

You can read the following article to put the computer in a clean boot:

This solution does not work, thanks for the reply but. I found that Vista locks going to the Command.pif running cmd from Windows users, so even if you terminate the process cmd it active again. I also found a mistake in one of the sons were he mentions emm396.exe as a way to check the emm on Vista memory. My Home Premium installation isn't emm386.exe.

Anyway once again don't thanks for the help no wonder that many stores do not use Vista. There are a number of development tools that run from command line.

  • Keep getting 'command line' has stopped working

When I try to turn on windows Defender - will work a few minutes then I get the error message the command line has stoped working and leaves the program - it won't turn after I restarted my computer - but maintains it of the thing happens - I have to run a malware scan - but just Defender will not stay

If you have Microsoft Security Essentials, AVG, McAfee, Norton, etc. installed, they have a conflict with Windows Defender, or turn it off.

Microsoft Security Essentials has its own integrated version of the defender and should automatically disable the version of Vista in Windows Defender.

    If it's not:
