  So when I play, I play games like Combat Arms, CS: s and so on. • Problem Vista Flash Cards on Satellite A200 - 18 M - R6025 run-time error

  I recently installed the latest version of the BIOS, and after installation, I see this message eveytime my laptop starts:

  You must know that Vista uses a different BIOS as the Windows XP!

• Halo 2 on Vista Home Basic, lag problem, ati raedon hd 4650

  k, im having some problems with halo 2 for vista. I bought the game off of ebay, less than a week ago. the installation went well, that I chose to wait until after that she installed to play halo 2. but as soon as I started the game, I noticed a slight jolt every second or two. When I actually played the game it was worse. It was not the normal kind of LAG that slows just your framerate altogether, it was as if I was getting excellent and left images falling for about 1 second and then got great fps again for 2 sec then droppped to 1. It was very difficult to actually shoot and kill the enemies, I still managed to get 5 achievements far however.

  My my pc specs are:

  ATI raedon HD 4650 (TOTALLY should be able to handle Halo 2, no problem)

  8 GB of ram (no problem either)

  4x2.4 gHz AMD phenom 9750. (no problem at all! unless the clock speed is a little slow, nuclei form for this)

  my pc however, gets a total score of 5.1, with the highest tier in cpu with 5.9.

  Please, please tell me how I can solve this problem, I left EVERYTHING until I opened the game (in the task monitor, took off from all processes that were losing cpu) I reinstalled the drivers, I installed x 9 direct because I heard 10 was bugged, ive done everything I can I know. so please let me know what I can do to solve this problem. it sucks to waste money on a good computer and a good game, when none of them is working properly!

  I note also that no matter how high or low, I put the resoultion or graphics settings, it continues to lag, the game itself is not late I just think for some reason has a vista problem it works correctly.

  He made one of only a few patches, I know. It fixes the problems of major shift with Halo 2. You should try it.

  im a bit disappointed with how the new icon. Before slot windows XP would only Flash when there is traffic flowing through them, but the new version of Vista flashes randomly. How can I get my network icons to work only when there is current network activity?

  I'm sorry that you are not satisfied with the way Vista displays the LAN activity.  However, there is not a way to change this.  You are invited to read all about Windows 7 which has a release candidate available for free download.  I don't know if the icon of LAN traffic is different in Windows 7 it is XP.  You can read all about Windows 7 here:

  There is an option in the power manager to activate automatic Optical Drive Power Off.

  Look for it thru Power Manager.   Right-click in the Green battery icon in the systray and

  This is a known issue, see article XP/Vista: Flash PPAPI 23.0.0.162 plugin does not work in Opera and chrome. For now, you can uninstall the Flash Player and download the previous version of Flash Player (fp_22.0.0.209_archive.zip) of page archived versions Adobe Flash Player, extract the zip file and install flashplayer22_0r0_209_winpep.exe in the 22_0_r0_209 folder.

  While installation make sure you select "Warn me to install updates" so that Flash Player is not old.

  Problems with sound in vista on multiple computers by using a flash 8 application, we find that the sounds are delayed in comparrison to XP.
  
  We have a program where by what a key is pressed an animation and its event occurs, there is now a significant of aprox 200ms delay until the noise is heard.

  OK, I worked it.

  There a stupid by default in Vista for improved sounds. If you disable this, everything is ok.

I had some problems with my SR5505F, I run Memtest + 86 on a barrette of RAM (2x2gb) both, but first wanted to check/upgrade the BIOS in case that was the problem, problem is, I upgraded the OS from Vista to Windows 7, and the BIOS for this model only offer the choice for Vista 32 and Vista 64 What should I do, my last update of the BIOS shows 2008.   Yes, I wouldn't risk.

  You can always make a system image to install W7 using W7 backup tool, reinstall Vista, Flash the BIOS and reinstall W7 from your image backup. You will need to do a W7 boot CD or use your installation disk of W7 and instead of the installation option, select repair your computer option at the bottom left of the installation screen.  Then select restore from an image system or what is the closest that verbage thing.

  You cannot Flash the BIOS now that you have installed Windows 7.

  The BIOS flash is good for Windows Vista.

  If you need to Flash the BIOS, you will have to reinstall Vista, Flash BIOS and then reinstall W7.

  It seems to me that the latest version of the BIOS of your laptop is F.43.

  Once again... DO NOT try to Flash the BIOS in Windows 7.

  If you do, you will join a long list of very unhappy people with portable bricks.

  If you have v.F.45 BIOS or more recent version installed you can switch to an Intel Core 2 Duo Mobile Processor T8100, T8300, T9300 or T9500.

  If you don't have a BIOS v.F.45 or more recent version installed, do NOT update the BIOS, now that you have installed W7, or you will be clean your laptop.

  You need to reinstall Vista, Flash the BIOS with the latest version and then reinstall W7.

  Otherwise, you can install one of the Intel processors listed in the service manual, Chapter 1, page 1.
