Vista Guardian disorders

Hello - I have tried SpyBot, SuperSpyBot and Malwarebytes without success.  Whenever I tried to load them onto my laptop, they fail to launch.  I even tried loading them on my zip drive and then run them on my laptop.  When I do that, I get the message that the program has stopped working and the APPCRASH problem event name.  Help!

P.S. I also tried it in safe mode.

Hello

To restore the ability to run any .exe programs.

1 make a Restore Point so that you can come back if necessary back although probably not required.

  • I think I deleted malware, but my computer does not start under programs.

I got the malware virus that appeared as 'Vista Guardian 2010' on my computer.  I have run two scans I found on the Microsoft Web site, and it seems to have stopped activity malware.  Before you run the scans, I was not able to launch Firefox or Malwarebytes.  Now I can run these programs.  The thing is, I have to 'Run as administrator' to make them open.  If I simply click the icon to launch the program, it will prompt me to choose a program to open the .exe file.

I am running the scan of Malwarebytes, as recommended for people with this particular problem.  But I could not install the updates for Malwarebytes, because updates automatically open and could not be "run as Administrator" to work.  The only way to get a program to work is to "run as Administrator" and I couldn't do it for updates.  I was still able to run the program, but is probably not up-to-date?  I do not know...

in any case, it's scanning now.

But how can I fix?  How can I get my computer back up to the point where she normally works and recognizes these .exe files?

Please, be specific with answers... I'm not very good computer so I need clear instructions.

  • Guardian of Vista?

That is the guardian of Vista and how do I get it my computer? I'm afraid to download a program to make it because its probably a spyware program too! What should I do?

    Hello

The best two methods allow scanners to run and/or AV.exe out of the way or removing.
CTRL SHIFT ESC - task manager OR right click on the taskbar - task manager

Process tab - complete the process on AV. EXE and continue with the uninstall Guide.

If necessary use start - computer or Windows Explorer to navigate to

C:\Program Malwarebytes Anti - Malware\mbam.exe or where it is installed - if
necessary right click on the shortcut of Malwarebytes - Properties - tab - target line to see where it
    is installed.

Right-click on it and rename it to ZZMbam.exe (or something different than now), then
Double-click it and run it like this. You can rename it back later. Do the same with others
programs as needed. Use this method for other necessary - DO NOT ASSUMER one
program removes all or that there is no other malware.

    ---------------------------------------------------

Another method is to use them:

Use Process Explorer to "Suspend" the process will not stop

Then use AutoRuns to delete the malicious program startup items.

Now use UnLocker to delete the files in the malware.

You may need to do a file at a time.

    Hello

    I'm desperate...

I use a mini Logitech dinovo keyboard like a keyboard for my P200. It connects via Bluetooth. My Bluetooth connection is a Bluetooth USB device provided with the keyboard. Until yesterday, everything worked fine, but then I installed the Vista SP1 and I lost the bluetooth connection. The computer does not recognize the device Bluetooth USB and bluetooth Control Panel contral disappeared.

I have one installed SP1, it does not solve

I downloaded and installed the driver from the BT monitor and it does not change anaything. I installed the drivers of BT stack, but it doesn't

    Please can someone help me?

    Much appreciated,

    WR

In such situations, there are two sides. It will be interesting to know if there is a problem if you try to connect another BT device to your laptop. Try it with your mobile phone if BT is available.
I can't imagine the BT device doesn't properly work.

Have you tried to contact Logitech technical support? Maybe they have the solution to this.

All you have done is OK, but I can imagine that that SP1 of Vista SP3 in Windows XP Home edition can perform or certain disorders.

Please check other BT device functionality and display the results.

  • Don't recharge files after restoring Vista 32 bit

I had vista 64 bit OS and got disorders pilot so I restored it to 32 bits after a backup to an external hard drive, now I can't restore the files as the restoration Center shows no backup is available. Please help I need these files soon.

    Original title; Novice needs help.

    Hi Bluesman123,

Please take a look at the following information through MRMic of a previous post:

I got exactly the same problem on Vista 32 bit. The second time I tried to restore from my external hard drive, I got the error "data too small area."

After you have reinstalled Vista, I wanted to make a backup. To avoid a conflict between the backup of previous installation and the new facility, I renamed the backup folder (for example, MICPC to MICPC-OLD). Later, I got the error trying to restore my old backup. On a whim, I renamed the old folder its original name (OLD of MICPC to MICPC) and that fixed it (or at least restore now works).

It turns out that I never needed to rename the folder in the first place because when I reinstalled Vista, I added in some way a dash in my name of the computer (MIC - PC) makes it different from the old (MICPC) one anyway.

    I hope this helps!

Go to the website of the manufacturer of your laptop > drivers and downloads Section > key in your model number > looking for the latest graphics drivers for Vista > download/install the.

  • Computer crashes when tried to wake mode "Eve" in Vista

My computer completely froze when I tried to wake him from sleep.  The button on the tower was blinking 'blue', but it was too frozen - provide no response from the computer.  In the end, I had to pull on the power cord.  What gives?  I am not given a choice of hibernation - it's either sleep or stop.

  • WHY IS THERE NO PARENTAL CONTROLS FILTERS ASSOCIATED WITH EATING DISORDERS?

I know that I can ban specific websites using Parental control filters, but when Microsoft will add a way to filter the news of dangerous on weight loss, dieting, etc.. ? It is too easy for children to find the BMI calculators, feeding sites and other things of that nature and mistreat them. I could turn on each single parental control and my child would probably still managed to use a search engine to access a Web site that could be detrimental to her recovery. I can't type in a thousand of banned sites. It would just be easier to ban its ability to search for a specific word.

So I would like to see a filter added to Vista, XP, and Internet Explorer that allows me to forbid my child looking for a specific word associated with consumption of issues, issues of body image, eating disorders, weight loss, etc.
These topics are just as dangerous as alcohol, nudity, blasphemy, weapons, etc. IF NOT MORE SO.
And with so much pressure from the media, there are more and more children using the internet to fuel this problem.
It's time to give parents a chance to help protect our girls (and boys!) preventing them from surfing for such things!

But there is a better way to achieve your goals, rather than through your operating system. Set up a free account at OpenDNS and choose your own filters. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  • Music from Apple on Windows Vista

    Hello

I want to subscribe to Apple music etc, but the upgrade will not take effect, apparently due to the fact that my laptop running Windows Vista. Of course, this is not normal? How can I subscribe to the Apple's music on the Windows Vista system without being forced to invest in a costly upgrade of my operating system?

    Hello

You cannot use Apple music on Windows vista. iTunes 12.3 or later is required for Apple music. If you want to use Apple music you need to update your operating system (computer?).

  • I'm running Thunderbird ver15 under Win Vista. Gmail considers ver15 a low security application. How updated to a version that works with Gmail?

This worm is working great for years. Suddenly, Gmail could not accept my sign-in. I have auto day together in Thunderbird, but it won't go past worm 15. Only after that I changed the setting in Gmail to enable low security Gmail applications would allow me in my emails via Thunderbird. I could connect to Gmail via the web very well, but not via Thunderbird. Could this be a problem with Vista?

    Thank you
    Richard

Then I tried to configure server authentication to "OAuth2" method, but this option was not available. in the drop-down list.

"OAuth2" only works for IMAP accounts. For POP "Normal password" is required, either in "allow applications that are less safe" or authentication step 2.

You can set if "OAuth2' for SMTP server outgoing.

When your problem has been fixed can you mark the thread as "solved" Please?
    Thank you.

  • Basics of microsoft, as installed on vista, still works after that I have switch to firefox?

I am moving from Vista to Firefox and want to know if Microsoft Essentials will continue to run after I made the change. MSE has preformed well for many years and I would like to avoid having to change to another anti-virus program.

Actually, you will still have Windows Vista, even if you use Firefox rather than the browser Internet Explorer (IE) that comes with Windows.

Another browser of your choice requires no modification of your security software. Also, it does not replace your security software. Unlike some programs that require special configuration steps, Firefox and Microsoft Essentials should get along very well.
