Vista laptop screen is blurred after using projector

I used a projector for Powerpoint presentation. When I plugged it in, my laptop screen is entered in a different resolution mode. Even if I reset the resolution to what it is supposed to be, letters and images appear slightly modified and so is fuzzy. I'm also active Cleartype. Any suggestions?

Hello

I suggest you perform a system restore to restore the computer to an earlier point in time.

    Hello:

In the Device Manager in the category graphics cards is the AMD RADEON HD 6480 listed G graphic card, or is that just an adapter VGA Standard listed there.

If there is an adapter VGA Standard listed there that means you need to install the graphics driver AMD for Windows Vista.

If the graphics card Radeon HD is listed under the category of display device manager cards, then the only suggestion I can offer would be to download and install the latest version of Adobe Flash Player and see if that helps any.

  • vista blue screen of Windows after load of desktop?

Receiving blue screen blocking after which penetrates windows on news environment it gives is stop: 0x0000008E aoddriver2.sys address: 9E2B1D76 base at 9E2AD000, Datestamp 4f13d4fb can someone tell me what is a way to fix it?

    Hello

Could be a nuisance pilot. Update your drivers manually looking at system manufacturer and
Sites of the manufacturer of the device.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

How to install a device driver in Vista Device Manager
    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-Device-Manager-install-driver.html

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver under Windows
Updates, this leaves ONE of Windows updates, but it will not install the drivers who will be generally
be older and cause problems. If updates offers a new driver and then HIDE it (right click on it) and
Then, get new ones manually if you wish.

Thank you for having prepared the answer of the indepth network.

His computer has been allowing us to start in safe mode, so I knew that this was not a screen problem. I tried to follow the link microsoft to start in a clean boot, as I had never heard of this before, but I could find it only for windows xp not windows 7. really, I'm not technical and was at my wits end, failed twice to restore because it says cannot restore because he could not get rid of a file called nativeimages _ windows livewriter?

As a last resort, and something I should have done in the first place, I deleted everything that my daughter had downloaded to play music and watch TV on since the beginning of the new year so that it worked very well. some of the applications must have been with it downloaded that she had never heard of them before things happen.

Once we had all these off (except upgrades) the laptop started immediately.

Still thank you for your time, I was ready to go into a computer store for repair, but your encouragement to try to fix that made me determined to do. very grateful

  • Laptop screen disabled when connecting to a projector

    Original title:

Hello, I am trying to connect to a projector Acer H5360 to my computer dv9750 Pavilion laptop under Vista Home Premium using an HDMI cable.

Whenever I connect the projector, or noting happens and typing FN + F4 I can have my proposed office or automatically after a certain time, my office is planned (without typing anything). In both cases, the office disappears from the screen of my laptop (!)
The only way to have my laptop active screen is again by disconnecting the HDMI cable AND it's not completely deterministic: it happens that the laptop screen remains inactive after extraction of the HDMI connector and until the power is cycled
My question is how can I configure the system to always reflect the tower to the projector screen, whenever the projector is attached, while leaving the tower still active screen? before, during and after the setting of the projector.
I would add only that I did not imagine it's be so complicated to just fix a projector. For example, when I move the same projector with the same cable to my xoom Tablet I just see projected! without doing anything more than the * physical connection *.

How many times do you have to press the key combination?

FN + F4 key combination is to switch between monitors. Try pressing the fn + f4 several times until you get show both monitors ON.

When the monitor of the laptop is turned OFF and the projector is on, press the key combination, the projector must be OFF and the monitor of the laptop must be turned on. By pressing the key combination twice turns the laptop screen and the projector. There should be no instance that both will turn OFF.

If it does not try to activate your dual display:
Right click on the desktop-> Output To-> Intel Dual Display Clone-> notebook + monitor. It can vary in defense on your installation, I use a laptop HP and Acer LCD as a second monitor.

Double "stacked" on first desktop on one monitor - desktop screen came just after using two monitors (Netflix on TV extended

My computer kept crashing after I had hung a dual monitor.  The second monitor was my television, playing a Netflix movie while I also used my computer to work on.  After splitting the two, I kept crashing for a few days.  I tried to delete the second monitor in the display settings, but does not know how to do this, if it's possible, but I think it's the problem and the cause of the double view of the desktop on my computer now.

Does anyone know how to confirm what the problem is for some, and/or instructions how to solve this problem if you already know what can cause this problem.  No assistance at all would be greatly appreciated.  I tried to understand this two days...

Note, in the heat of the Las Vegas area, I thought this may be due to overheating, but I actually he cooled in the refrigerator for a short time and restarted, but still have the problem.  Thank you.

You have a Nvidia 8600 M GS graphics chip located on the motherboard, the drivers for it are provided by your manufacturer, HP, PC-specific to your model and NOT of the site MSUpdate or Nvidia.

Hmm have you tried to reinstall / recover the laptop to see if it helps to solve this problem?
In my opinion you should try it because it could be a problem in the system.

Otherwise if new system installation / restore does not help you, it could be a malfunction of the equipment.

    Hi Ted,

See if you can access the Windows system restore using the following method.

Stop of the laptop and leave it like that for 10 seconds.

Tap here to f11 as soon as you press the power button until you see a message "Windows is loading.

On the next screen, select your Keyboard Layout and on the next screen, select Troubleshooting.

Select 'Advanced Options', and then select System Restore.

Click on yourcurrent system O and then wait as the system restore window opens.

Choose a restore point at least 48 hours before the problem arose first and then proceed with the restoration of the system.

    Kind regards
