Vistas UAC won't let me install programs

So, I'm going to install Sony Vegas Pro 9 and used UAC prompt comes back, but this time, instead of having just my username regular, with a blank password field, the two fields are empty, and the picture is blank.  Challenging fingerprints hangs my computer, even if the Fingerprint Logon works very well.  And when I put in my domain and name (for example: domain\user.name) and my password, it will wait 10 seconds and then freezes.  Although recording on with my password and the name works without problem.  Can someone help me?  And I tried to turn off UAC, then a command prompt comes up, so I can't do it.

    Hi, all the time I try to install a new program in my computer this window: CONTENT ADVISOR, request a password that nobody in house nows and won't let me install any new program.  Wath can I do?

    [Moved by a moderator on this forum from the Office for Mac forum]

    This has nothing to do with Office for Mac... In fact, Access Manager is a feature of Internet Explorer, which is a browser of Windows operating system.

    If this is a feature of Mac you are referring, apparently logged as something other than an administrator. There must be at least an administrator account for which a person should know the password for the connection. It would be preferable that you are pursuing this through the communities of Support from Apple: Apple - Support - Discussions - Forum Home

    Hello

    What is you get the exact error message?

    You have the required drivers for the printer?

    If you have problems installing a printer, or if you have added a printer but are unable to use it, you need to maybe install or update the printer driver so that it is compatible with the version of Windows you are using.

    Some drivers that come with Windows, are available through Windows Update, or are registered on your computer through the hardware installation process and are ready to install. In other cases, you will need to install the drivers using a CD or DVD provided by the manufacturer of the printer. To install these drivers, follow the steps to use the Printers folder. If the driver you need is not already stored on your computer or if you do not have a CD or DVD, try to search the website of the manufacturer of the printer to see if you can download and install from there.

    I recommend you go through the manual supplied with the printer first. The manual includes the steps that will lead you through the installation process.

    Or you can try this:

    If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

    Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.

    NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.

    Read all the info on the website on how to create and use:

    It's a very good Vista startup repair disk.

    You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.

    It is NOT a disc of resettlement.

    And the 32-bit is what normally comes on a computer, unless 64-bit.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    And here's the General information regarding the use of the recovery disk:
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then restart with the recovery in the drive disc.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu
  • I have two creative cloud products and it won't let me install it in another computer
    I am a student and the student service. I decided to hire the person for my friend and did through my account. Now, the system doesn't let me install it in another computer. He repeats, I'm limited to use in both computers, but I paid for two accounts.
    Hello
    You bought two subscription creative cloud under one account (your own).
    If go you ahead and try to activate it on 3rd computer he'll give activation error, because under an Adobe account, you can only keep a single creative cloud subscription, which can be used on both computers.
    in order to add on another computer, you need to buy the subscription under a different email address.
  • Ask Windows Update to install the Vista SP2, which was installed years ago and won't let me install Live Essentials for the same reason.
    Windows Update is now always ask to install the Vista SP2, which was installed years ago. When you try to install through Windows Update, it concludes the installation like ok, then once again it shows in Windows Update. When I try via stand-alone, it is said that SP1 is not installed. Of course, it is. In any case tried to reinstall and he wrote is already installed. I'm sure I installed both SPS long ago, but none of them show in the updates installed. It's probably something in the registry. Properties system shows SP1. Ah, I use Vista Home Premium 32-bit.
  • HP OfficeJet 7310 won't let me install... says I need to be an administrator on Vista 64-bit
    I have HP OfficeJet 7310 and I am installing for the first time.  I have Vista 64 bit and when I go to install it, I get an error that says... "Log then with a user with administrator privileges.
    I do not understand, I am the administrator... I tried to turn off work... didn't thing ULC.  I tried to do a clean boot... didn't work. I am at a loss can someone help me please.  I use Kaspersky... but I don't think that is the question.
    I am a real user of 7310 on Vista 64 bit and can vouch for the suggestion of driver download.  The software installation process is quite different from that performed from Windows XP (thank God) and goes a lot faster.  Certainly turn off your antivirus software during the process because it's intensive file.
    Here's my big tip for you that you can save a lot of stress.  You will see that if you never put your system into standby mode, the stock in network drivers to print frequently and permanently disappear and you need to uninstall/reinstall.  Happened to me for weeks and finally I saw an announcement somewhere however it is resolved if you install also "critical update to enhance reliability of network and USB connectivity and improve system responsiveness while printing" in the same place.  His description, he said "corrects a problem that causes the network connected printer to disappear from the system.  For some inexplicable reason this month of April, update has not been deployed in September driver version.  I installed and have not had a problem since.
    Good luck!
