  Hi friend:

  I suffer from this problem of generation. After you install Visual Studio 2015 and update 1, which took 4 hours, and then I built my code. But when I tried to run the executables generated (by vc140), he complains error in debug mode as "the program cannot start because api-ms-win-core-rtlsupport-l1-2-0.» DLL is missing from your computer. "Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." My OS is windows 7 Service pack 1. I work with VS2013 for over 2 years, never had this kind of problems before.

• Is it possible to combine Entity Framework 6 with ODAC 11 g within Visual Studio 2015?

  The .NET application, I want to develop will be deployed on a server with the customer Oracle 11 g used to access a back-end 10g database.  I would use the possible latest technologies which can still fulfil this obligation.

  Is it possible, therefore, to combine Entity Framework 6 with ODAC 11 g (or develop using 12 c, but deploy to an application server running 11 g)?  Should I strictly use ODP.Net Oracle libraries to do this?  I'm hoping to use Visual Studio 2015 (about to be released).

  If this is not possible, what are my options?

  Only ODP.NET 12.1.0.2 in ODAC 12 c R3 and higher is certified with EF 6. You must use a client of 12 c. However, you can still access a 10.2 this customer DB server.

  Hi Jacob,

  Some tips for you, VS 2015 is not recommended for dev environment. CS6 InDesign plugin. You will meet all kinds of issues if you use for creating plugins CS6 2015, are some of the issues you may face

  1. Compilation or linking errors
  2. Random crashes, while the plugin is running, if you manage to get that much.

  The main reason for this is the different versions of libraries CRT used by different versions of VS, which used once all causes all sorts of compatibility issues.

  I would recommend that you follow the recommended by Adobe in the SDK VS version.

  Now in regards to putting in place the project settings, you must configure the following paths mainly to point to different paths of the SDK

  1. Include paths for the C++ compiler, these are directories that contain different header files. This will contain multiple paths, see the sample project SDK for more details
  2. Path for libraries that need to be linked to your project, see Linker of a SDK project.
  3. Include the path to the resource compiler
  4. Apart from this, you can also set the executable directories, as shown in the screenshot you attached. This is used to designate certain executables that are used during the accumulation of the generation of the project phase.

  You could refer to the sample project SDK for details, I would recommend that you base your new project on a sample project of SDK software for beginners and once you are comfortable with the settings, you can go ahead and write your own project to project depending on how you like to your Setup project the configuration files. For more details on how to write configuration files for VS projects to do a google search on it.

  I have a problem on my laptop which is the startup screen freezing after installing Hyper-V on Windows Pro 8.1. Actully I need because it is used by Visual Studio 2015 do Andriod device emulator work

  After a search internet I found that this problem is caused by the driver Ralink Bluetooth and common

  I'm also thinking that I can boot windows successfully when I disable virtualization BIOS, so I logged on windows and I have tried a few solutions

  1. Disable Bluetooth device-> does not

  2 - Install the latest Ralink driver-> does not

  3. Remove VEN_1814 & DEV_3298 & SUBSYS_18EC103C & REV_00-> work but the returned key after that restart so I have to delete this key, everytime I open windows, and more that's a problem with virtual switches on Hyper-V

  Any solution permanent please?

  I discovered Mediatek drivers which are no longer updated.

  Not sure if that helps in your case with Visual Studio.

  I get the error of false unit test "ShimNotSupportedException" below. I use Visual Studio 2015 Enterprise Update 1, I also tried to update the 2 but no luck from the moment.   I downloaded "vs2015.com_enu.iso". The installation gets stuck in the place where it says, install Microsoft .NET 4.6.

  A few important points:

  • I am also unable to install .NET 4.0, 4.5 .NET.
  • Windows Update indicates the update, download too and said the update will install on the next reboot, and after the next reboot always two updates on the WUA list and are not installed.
  • So the problem I tried to reinstall the Windows OS, but nothing helped.

  I recently installed a game (Grim Dawn) and when I try to run it, I get this message:

  My provisional driving licence expired on Visual Studio 2015 and I need to connect get a new one. The access to the sign on screen in Visual Studio via the sign in button and enter in my (valid registered Microsoft) email, I gives me the following error: SP324098: your browser could not complete the operation. To achieve the same screen and enter my e-mail address via the buttons 'Add an account' or ' check for a license update of ", rather I am greeted with this error: Cookies must be allowed. I'm not sure what browser VS uses to access the login page, so I checked the settings for each of my three browsers (IE, Chrome and Firefox) and define each to always allow cookies, but the problem persists. I restarted my computer, my browsers and VS, but nothing seems to work. I've been a long-time user of Visual Studio on many different computers without problem.
