''  Then who made these changes? I ask my self.  Hard ware? Virus? Don't know but I know he's been through, I guess, my virtual browser settings that follow me via Google Chrome / tool bar. where I have access to the net. Not sure why it did not affect browser Fire Fox?

  This should be something that your wireless adapter on your computer supports, or does not work.  It is not a feature of Vista, but the network hardware.  When your wireless adapter on your computer sees the router which has the active Protocol, it must ask the key and once offers you the key, it needs to connect.  If you do not see this option for your network card, then you should contact the manufacturer.

  What are the different wireless network security methods?

  If you plan to have a wireless network, you must configure the only people that can access your choice. Here are a few options for the security of wireless networks.

  Wi - Fi Protected Access (WPA)
  WPA encrypts information and it checks to make sure that the network security key has not been modified. WPA also authenticates users to ensure that only authorized individuals can access the network.

  There are two types of WPA authentication: WPA and WPA2. WPA is designed to work with all wireless network cards, but it might not work with the older routers or access points. WPA2 is more secure than WPA, but it will not work with some older network cards. WPA is designed to be used with an authentication server 802.1 X, which distributes different keys to each user. This is referred to as WPA-Enterprise or WPA2-Enterprise. It can also be used in pre-shared key (PSK), where each user has the same passphrase.   WEP is an older network security who is still able to support older devices, but it is not recommended. When you enable WEP, you configure a network security key. • Network for NFS

  I have infrastructure as follows;

  2 welcome each containing 6 1Gig speed NIC each.

  A NAS storage with 4 NIC

  Two L2 Switches (managed HP).

  Planning to run it by the best recommendations and requirements, so that there should not be a SPOF any level.

  So keeping this in mind, we have designed to use ports on each server as follows:

  2 for the NFS storage, 2 for Production management and 2 others for vMotion on each server.

  A cable from each port configured for respective roles goes uplink switch1 and switch2, so if a switch goes down we still have the other switch support.

  Separated VLAN is configured by the switch to different types of traffic.

  My question as below;

  Should I team two ports on each vSS.If so that what should be the parameters for NETWORK adapters for the production, storage, and vMotion network grouping (keeping in mind cables going to switch uplink separated).

  Should I keep adapter in active-standby or active-active mode.

  I didn't think any specific settings to link pass that one cable by a single port is to go there and I don't have the choice of the channel of the ether or LACP.

  In addition, vmware license is essential and having therefore no possibility to use dynamic switches.

  Consider using 5.5.0.

  Also do you propose to use frames as well in the present.

  I suggest always you put management and vMotion on the same set of natachasery management and workloads. It makes no difference where they are subnet a perspective.  I also suggest to read the following:

  • The great debate VSwitch (old writings but still VERY there, let not the age fool you on this one)
  • VMware Virtual networking concepts
  • Networking for administrators of virtualization

  Who should you get.

  natachasery have no IP address in a vSphere environment, they act as a link between a physical and virtual switch. According to the way which you the trunk your VLAN Trunk ends pSwitch (external switch tagging) or the virtual switch (switch virtual tagging). Most people master their VLAN to the virtual switch.

  You want something like the following:

  pSwitch <->pNIC0 <->[ <->Portgroup vSwitch0] <->management (subnet1)

  pSwitch <->pNIC1 <->[ <->Portgroup vSwitch0] <->vMotion (subnet2)

  When switching between pNIC0 and pNIC1 management and vMotion end up on the same bear but when normally run that they remain separated. It is the recommended method. In this case you would master the VLAN to the vSwitch. I know some people who just do not use VLANs, but who use only separate subnets and it works as well.

  pSwitch <->pNIC2/pNIC3 <-> <->Portgroup vSwitch1 (s) <->of workloads (subnet1)

  If you use VLANs (except for vMotion) you're trunking to vSwitch1 (virtual switch tagging). If subnet1 is on the same vSwitch and the trunk is correct via pSwitch ports so he can talk to management on vSwitch0 effortlessly. Switches know how to route traffic to VLAN.

  pSwitch <->pNIC4/pNIC5 <->vSwitch2 <->Portgroup <->NFS (subnet3)

  Here we link pNIC4 and pNIC5 together or use them as a pair of failover for NFS on its own subnet / VLAN itself. This VLAN can end the pSwitch if you wish or terminate once again to the vSwitch.

  In this configuration you have 3 VLAN and 3 subnets (subnets use by VLAN are also recommended)... for example:

  VLAN100-> subnet1-> workload management

  VLAN200->-> vMOtion subnet2

  VLAN300->-> NFS subnet3

  Let the pSwitches any 'movement' of traffic for each VLAN. You need only a routing device if you want TO cross borders VLAN and there is absolutely no need to do it in this configuration.

• Server 2012R2 Lenovo ROK fails to intsaller to vmware

  If fails to install as recognized Lenovo hardware... support sent a link to change the data store. I'm relatively new to Vmware, does anyonehave step by step instructions to change the configuration?

  It's getting into vmware, choose the virtual machine and change the configuration settings, add a line, and enter SMBIOS.reflecthost = "TRUE". It was my steps:

  1. Launch the hypervisor
  2. Click on Virtual Machine
  3. Click on change Virtual Machine properties
  4. Click Options, click general
  5. Click on Configuration settings
  6. Click Add a line
  7. Enter SMBIOS.reflect.host the right pane in the left pane and TRUE
  8. Click OK

  You will now be able to install the version of Lenovo ROK of the server 2012R2

• iCloud library is not available if the system library is located on a network file server

  I moved my library on an external hard drive, that drive is directly connected to my router via the USB port.

  I can make pictures to my library of photos and pictures of charge very well. I've set the library to serve the library system:

  I have the ability to connect this external hard drive to an iMac which is used as a server, I just prefer not, but if it's the only option I want.

  That's right - the library needs (for iCLoud, use of the library and for the safe operation) to be on a local wired connection - may not be on a network connection

  I'm unable to install language packs on the server 2012R2, I no longer get the 775 error using dism, or no valid language pack that is found when you try to use the language pack install tool.  I downloaded the language of 2.6 GB with all languages pack.

• Server 2012R2 Standard Remote Desktop redirected printer stops printing 372 Win32 error 2147500037

  All of a sudden that all users RDP cannot print on any redirected printers on Windows Server 2012R2.  Printers appear on printers and devices on the server.  Print jobs appear in the queue on the server, click local device, but disappear without printing queues.  Same behavior for multiple computers, Windows 7, se8, all users, including administrators.  Easy Print installed.  Work on it for hours without success. For any help or suggestions appreciated!

  Under Windows, you can connect a printer to a computer via USB and be able to print. However, since there is no software for it on the HP site it's all what you can. Unfortunately, you will only be able to print using the USB method.

• Hide popup network for system SMS notification

  Hi all

  I develop an application that receives occasional notifications from a remote server via SMS.   The format of your SMS message seems incorrect.

  A class 0 SMS message will display the prompt see you and do not appear in the Inbox.

  A SMS message from type 0 does not any command prompt and not to see the place in the Inbox.

  Knowledge base article shows the format of an SMS type 0.

  We have configured our Cisco devices to use Windows 2008 network POLICY server for RADIUS.  However, we cannot configure aaa represents priv 15 commands to use the same radius servers for recording of commands in privileged mode.  When you set up by using the following command:

  AAA commands 15 arrhythmic default accounting RADIUS_SERVERS group

  I noticed that there is only GANYMEDE + servers 'group' categories and optional.  After entering the server radius group, I realized that the command is not saved and by inspecting the logs I saw the following:

  The 'MF_RAD' server group is not a Ganymede server group. Please define "RADIUS_SERVERS" as a Ganymede server group.

  This means that the function of accounting 'orders' (and probably most others) can be activated only when you use a GANYMEDE Server +?

  You're absolutely right. Accounting command only works with Ganymede. We cannot have the command for the radius Protocol accounting. RADIUS accounting only gives you start and stop sessions package.

  I've found a workaround:

  When I run the import-PSSnapin I noticed (with wireshark) a lot of traffic failed to WAN addresses, so I set myself, in Internet Options a false proxy (127.0.0.1), excluding the proxy DNS of my domain active directory name (so I can connect to the virtual center without going through the wrong proxy)
