  I am trying to upgrade of several Server Terminal Server to Windows 2003 32-bit, v5.2 IE Flash plugin version 11.1.102.63.  It did not work on the first two servers I tried, and later I concentrated my tests on one of them.  The version on the server before the upgrade attempt has been 10.3.181.14.

  Whenever I try the upgrade, the executable initially runs, but then does nothing.  The running process is visible in the Task Manager, with no resources of treatment and about 18 MB of memory.  Unless I kill the process manually, it will sit like that indefinitely.  If I try the installation again, I get a message advising me that a single instance of the process can run.

  I tried to reboot the server, I tried to install terminal server mode server running the installation, I tried to uninstall the previous version, I tried to reinstall the previous version (which works fine).  For some reason, this version will not work.

  Any suggestions as to the next step would be very welcome.

  @cor-el: the previous version seemed to disappear of itself, about 12 hours later. I checked the topic: plugins page (along with the Add/Remove Programs), and only the latest version of Flash is not installed. I have already refreshed the pluginreg.dat file.

  There always at least a web page that asks for the installation of Flash Player, but it works very well on almost all other Web sites.

  There is no upgrade to higher version of Windows media player for Windows vista.

• Windows Media Player 12 on Windows 7 stops working after recovery from sleep mode

  I have problems to make Windows Media Player 12 to run correctly after a system sleep (standby). It works very well after the maximum boot and for as long that the machine is not going mode sleep. It is only a problem with Windows 7 and Media player 12. All other Win 7 applications seem to work correctly. The system also works very well for Vista/Media player 11.

  I installed my upgrade Windows 7 Home Premium x 64 as a new installation on a separate hard drive. This problem exists right after installation - no other software not added. I then installed all the updates MS available and the problem has not disappeared. I installed the OS a couple of times (including a copy of Windows 7 Professional x 64) on another hard drive too and the problem remains.

  Media Player 12 works perfectly until the system goes into sleep mode - either by itself, or manually. When it resumes, Media player launches, but when you try to play something, he will only play the first couple notes of music and then freeze. Same thing with videos - it will get the first couple of frames played, and then hang. If you continue to stop and restart Media Player, eventually it will be totally suspended and after a few minutes the error "Server execution failed" message. At that point in the Task Manager, wmplayer.exe will consume is a complete base my Quad CPU (25%), do nothing. Sometimes, you can kill the process and take control of the back of the PC.   This question comes to be a problem with the drivers of its updated map THROUGH as soon as we are updating the drivers from the sound card, we are not able to play the files with licenses .wma, but if uninstall us the drivers newly installed and restart the computer to get the old drivers working again and now able to play the same files .wma fine without problems.
