Windows Media Player error message says that I don't have the media usage rights acquisition.
Original title: Windows Media Player
Am not able to play music in Windows Media Player to the library after the transfer of music from another computer. Error message says that I don't have the media usage rights acquisition.
Hello
Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community and we give the opportunity to help you.
Cause of the error:
Windows Media Player uses Microsoft Digital Rights Management (DRM) to protect the rights of content owners who protect their music or video products in this manner. You must have usage rights required to play, burn, or sync protected content.
How to upgrade the DRM license?
By default, Windows Media Player will automatically attempt to acquire the rights of use in silence unless the server requires some input on your part (for example, registration or tax information). You can disable the automatic rights acquisition. In this case, you will be asked to obtain the rights for any new content that requires them. To prevent Windows Media Player from acquiring rights automatically, do the following:
a. click on the arrow on the now playing tab, and then click Other Options.
b. click on the Privacy tab, and clear the automatically check if protected files need to be refreshed check.
Please note that this setting affects not acquisition of rights of use of online stores.
Which settings affect privacy in Windows Media Player?

To upgrade the security for your digital media player component, see:

This page allows you to upgrade the components of security of your digital media player to play the files on your computer.

When I click on the program, it has an error saying that I can't have the proper authorization. Right click and selecting run to do the same thing. I downloaded the latest version of firefox 3 times and always get the message that I don't have the current version. I'm not able to open Pandora.com because of this. What Miss me?
Hi cheryl28,
It seems that the details of your system, would you say that you are still on version 3. How have you tried to update Firefox? There were errors during the update? You should look at Firefox updated to the latest version for more details.
You can also try to go to http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/
- Download the full installer for 8.0.1 to your desktop.
- Closing Firefox. Remember that she is still ongoing in the background.
- Run the Setup program and re-open Firefox.
Hope this helps!

I get a message saying that I don't have the appropriate permissions to install an extension
I get this message only on a few extensions I'm trying to install. Others install fine. Other times I get a message saying that there was an internal error and that the extension will not be installed, even if the extension is for Dreamweaver CS4, which is what I use. This is for extensions that are free and those that I paid for. I am the admin on this workstation, so I don't understand why I get these messages, especially for those on the permissions. I use a Dell PC with Vista Home Premium 32 bit.
VISTA UAC security settings very probably get on your way.
To run a program as an administrator, follow these steps:
- Right-click on the icon that you use to run the program, and then click run as administrator.
- When you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the administrator password, or click continue.

More to tell you.
If he has problems with the update or the permissions then simpler is to download the full version and trash the version currently installed to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the file on the desktop DMG
- Firefox 6.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
- Trash the present application Firefox to do a clean (re-) install
- Install the new version you downloaded
Your profile data is stored in the Firefox profile folder, so you will not lose your bookmarks and other personal data.

After installation of the latest version of firefox and I use the new icon on my desktop, it always says that I don't have the latest version. Installation will correctly
It - http://www.google.com/firefox - is the old Page to start Firefox used by the Firefox 3.6 and earlier versions of Firefox, I do not think that it is maintained by Google.
From version Firefox 4, Firefox uses a 'local' with the address Start Page of Subject: House. It looks like the old start Page, but this isn't exactly the same thing.

When I try to save a file in Photoshop psd or jpeg, it says that I don't have the permissions to do so.
Sounds like the upgrade messed up 10.11 to your file/folder permissions.
Use disk utility Apple to fix significant authorities.
Make sure you have write access to all of your own directories.

Close the firefox window, and the installation should continue. Or, press CTRL + ALT + DEL, find firefox.exe in the process and end it by selecting it and pressing del
Then it should continue. If this isn't the case, close the flash installation window, make sure that firefox is closed, then re - open. -
Upgrade from Windows XP to W7 nothing but problems.
I recently bought and installed windows 7 Home Edition premium, because microsoft does not support the windows xp more. Now all of my terrible looking graphics and I am unable to do my 'easy transfer' of my settings in my computer. It is said that there is not enough memory. Why would the transfer to proceed with the transfer if there is not enough room to put them on the same computer with the new windows operating system 7? Besides, why don't the Windows Upgrade Advisor warn me that my system would not support it. There was some software incompatibility issues but nothing that serious. I would like to go back to windows xp or windows 7 starter edition would work? I have a 2 GB of ram with a 32-bit op system. I fell I just lost my money and even less hours spent working on it. I realize it's time to upgrade, but want even this computer works for children and the wife.
Advise Windows isn't the end of everything, being together. Common sense and human interaction and research is always the majority of computing in my humble opinion. If a program can still tell you the answer - and in fact always reason - is it a good thing? ;-)
From my experience, we should always do their own research - investigating on their own. Ask others who have more experience in everything that they might plan to do a few questions so they could avoid an error. Yet, at this stage, human beings are still the best source for experience.
Windows XP should work fine for that machine. In fact - it was designed essentially around it (the machine has been designed around Windows XP--came with it). I'm sorry you had a bad experience with Windows 7 and in trouble, but I assure you - with the right material, that Windows 7 is the next Windows XP. :-)

My DVD & CD drivers are part of the system, but it continues to tell me that they are not there, and neither will not work.
Hello
1. What is the operating system you have on your computer?
2. What is the error message you get when you try to access your DVD player?
I suggest you follow the methods given and check if it helps.
Method 1: Try to update driver for your DVD drive in Device Manager.
Method 2: Contact the manufacturer of your computer to search on your computer BIOS settings like the DVD player can be disabled in the BIOS settings or may be the driver of your DVD is defective.
I hope this helps.

I get a message saying that I don't have privileges to change the time system.
I use Windows XP Professional as an administrator. The message is that I have enough privileges to change the time system?
original title: time systemAs you probably understand, setting is translucent because your IT Department at work has controlled this configuration in the field (which is why I have inserted the caveat "unless the domain policy changed that"). When you exit your laptop from work to home, the domain policies remain in place. If you do not have the administrative rights on the computer, you should always be able to change the policy by using KB266280 of my previous post... but as soon as plug you it into the network of your domain to work, the policy will return.

JW
