Well I can start a Virtual Machine Window XP with your configuration so .vmx file at least, good sound, however, you will need to provide adequate information to help diagnose your problem and while the vmware.log file may be useful is not always tell the whole story, so take a look at HOWTO: ask (and answer) Questions as a guideline , then provide additional details and then just "vmware does not start - guest xp 32 bit SP3.

Remember to change the message original and deleted the copy and paste the contents of the log file.

Sorry for the late reply. Please try to install the game in Windows XP compatibility mode to check if it helps.

    1. Right click on the file Setup (setup.exe for the program) and select Properties.
    2. Now click the tab compatibility and check the box that says run this program in compatibility mode dedicated
    3. Select Windows XP (Service Pack 3). Click apply and OK.
    4. Now right-click on the configuration file and select run as administrator and follow the normal installation procedure.

After installing these updates in my pc I get blue screen every time whe windows 7 starts. Restore to solve the problem. So what's the problem with these updates?

    Hello

    Method 1.

Install the updates manually and check if the problem reappears.

Download and save the Setup on your desktop package and try to install the same one by one and check what update is causing the problem.

Download the updates from the links below:

    Update for Windows 7 (KB982110)

    Method 2.

Also, you can zip the minidump in the C:\Windows\Minidump folder files and make available (provide the link) through Windows Live SkyDrive.

  • Syntax error (vmx-line 146) - VM does not start!

    Hi all

I just installed the updated Mac OS security and after that I turned on the printer on the Fusion side Mac OS fixed. Now VMware does not start, and I get the following message

    File "/ users/Pedram/Documents/Virtual Machines.localized / 2.vmwarevm/Windows Vista 2.vmx Vista Windows" line 146: syntax error.

It seems that the .vmx file is corrupted, as it has just 146 lines.

I use a software that only runs on a PC and I have all my data stored on the windows side.  It is essential that I have access data, please help me.   I worked on this project for a 1 month and losing the data is equivalent to losing my job.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Try the attachment. Note that the .vmx file has been truncated in the Middle the AutoProtect settings, so I got rid of all of them - you should reactivate the merge user interface.

Alternatively, if you could get vmware*.log for the virtual machine, we could try to rebuild the original .vmx file (there may be more pieces of interest who got truncated).

Also note that if you use the Fusion 2.x, you can access the virtual OS x disk when the virtual machine is not running. CTRL-click on the VM and choose open with > VMDKMounter.

  • Win2k3 comments of 64-bit does not start on 64-bit Vista, processor E6700 with VT active host

I have a guest for Windows Server 2003 64-bit running on a 64-bit Vista with VMware Server 2.01 host.  The host system has a CPU of Core2Duo Intel E6700 and VT is enabled in the BIOS.  The guest has worked fine until this morning.  Windows updates hit the host the next day and installed Microsoft lastest set of security patches and rebooted the host.  Because then the host 64-bit does not start - I can get the BIOS on reviews, but Windows itself indicates that he doesn't see a 32-bit CPU and cannot load 64-bit operating system.

64-bit VMware compatibility checker, said that the host is 64-bit ready comments.  I don't know if something is messed up in the comments or on the host?  It's the only host 64-bit on the system, all the other guests are 32-bit and load very well.

  • Windows 7 32 bit does not start after the installation of the need for assistance

I have an iMac 21.5 inches (mid-2011) with 8 GB Ram, 2 TB SSHD, new HL-DT-ST DVD - RW GA32N and tried to install windows 7 (32 bit) on using Boot Camp Assistant.

I already downloaded and copied software 4.0.4033.zip Boot Camp here-> https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1630?locale=en_US for my 16 GB Pen Drive MS-DOS (FAT32)

The installation was successful, and windows 7 loads just fine 1st time, I created UserID and password, settings etc... using the apple keyboard then installed the drivers from apple on this issue of my 16 GB USB key. Seems my Magic Mouse works but my keyboard is not detected

Then I tried to restart so the changes would come into force, and since then my Windows will not start or run Windows 7

Now if I start my iMac hold down the Option key, I get Macintosh HDD, windows, recovery 10.11.4 and DVD. If I select Windows or Windows DVD it starts Booting then black screen followed by this Message on the screen «Press a key to boot from the CD or DVD...» »

If I press any button it starts booting from DVD and gives me the option to install Windows and if I do not press a button some then nothing happens

Windows does not start a BootCamp HDD and I'm left with no option but to press on the button / stop to stop iMac.

Fortunately my El Capitan works well, but my Windows will not start. I tried 2 times install windows 7 32 Bit on my BootCamp HDD.

So any help, I do not understand what am I'm doing wrong, I would be really grateful if someone who knew bootcamp can guide me so that I can run Windows OSX on my iMac.

    Thanks in advance.

Remove the DVD, boot in OSX and after the release of the following Terminal commands?

    diskutil list

    Cs diskutil list

    sudo TPG - vv - r see the/dev/disk0

    sudo fdisk/dev/disk0

The "sudo" commands will prompt to enter your password, and there do not appear to come back. You can also see caution against improper use 'sudo' and the potential loss of data due to an "abuse" of the order.

  • You can determine whether 32 or 64 bit Vista product key or serial number, the machine does not start?

You can determine if 32 or 64 bit Vista product key or serial number?  The machine does not start and I need to order the OEM from HP recovery disk?

    Hello

HP will know when you give them the serial number of your machine.

They should have a record of it.

  • Vista 64-bit Black Screen of Death, with just a mobile available slider, the system does not start in safe mode.

My system worked properly on 25 April and then something happened and now the machine comes back with "Start menu options" but will not start in one of the listed options, modes result in the same outcome.  System also starts on the Vista CD.

System begins to boot normally, shows the tracer Green Windows at the bottom of the screen, then the mouse pointer appears and moves but the rest of the screen remains black.

That's it, that's all what he will do.  I checked the settings of the computer and ran the diagnostic tests available and everything seems to go fine and passes all the tests.

I worked on my own computers for over 20 years and never been stumped before, but I must say this is a first, and I have no idea what to try to do it now.

    Help or direction is appreciated.

original title: Vista 64-bit Black Screen of Death, with just a mobile available slider, the system does not start in safe mode.

See if there is a way to tecover clean your data before doing a restore to conditions of factory that will wipe the drive of all.  You can use Knoppix http://www.knopper.net/knoppix/index-en.html with a good ISO as Copier: http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm as well as a blank CD (which you will need to do on another computer).  Starting on this disc and lla should give you enough access to the system (if you do not have any other means) to backup your important data.

So since you seem to have no other alernatives, you can try retoring the original factory computer options. However, if it is a hardware problem as could very well be the case, you can still encounter problems after even this drastic step.  Then you will need to consider in a reputable computer repair shop (NOT Geek Squad or or a any of these big store centers) or maybe even go back to the manufacturer for repair.   Check out several options and compare the costs, quality and guaranteed and then make your best decision.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • PlayBook Simulator does not start in vmware.

I had just installed sdk playbook and Simulator on windows 7 and configure the Simulator on vmware.

But the playbook Simulator does not start on vmware... He simply display the splash screen...

Do you have another computer to try out it?

For example, in my case, I have 3 PC. Two of them the Simulator installed and worked well, the third, no matter what I do I can't get the Simulator to go beyond the start screen.

I even took a suspended version of the Simulator everywhere for my 3rd machine, and it has run for a little while so locked up when I tried to activate the mode of development. However, VMWare works perfectly for other sims installed on this machine (but with VMTools installed in the virtual machine), then it is not a VMWare question by itself.

Personally, I think that unfortunately for certain combinations of hardware/OS simulator simply does not work.

FWIW my 3rd machine is underpowered with only 2 GB of ram, an Intel ATOM (z520) processor and a GMA 500 GPU which are pushed along Windows 7.

  • Windows 7 upgrade from 32 bit to 64 bit, 64 does not start on its own

I am trying to upgade win 7 32-bit to 64-bit. I bought a new copy of Windows 7 Home premium 64-bit.  It does not start on its own, is there some

type of bootloader on the net. who's going to help or what!

To learn how to change your BIOS options to boot from the DVD drive, the following tutorial:

    http://notebooks.com/2011/05/05/How-to-load-BIOS-and-change-boot-configuration/

    -----------------------------------------------
You will need to do a clean install, there is no place on the way to upgrade Windows 7 32 bit to 64 bit.

Using the disk of 64-bit Windows 7, install Windows 7 Windows Easy Transfer Utility from the DVD (to find it, simply navigate to x:\support\migwiz, "x:" is the name of your hard drive. (In this case, you will see a collection of files, the important"that you must search for and double-click is 'migsetup'.) run it and create a DAMP (Windows Easy Transfer file), if you have an external hard drive, you can access it later when you perform a clean install of Windows 7 64-bit disk so you can stored there.

Once you have done this, just do a clean install of Windows 7 64 bit disc. In Windows 7 64 bit disk, start Windows Easy Transfer, follow the wizard screen, tap on which is stored the WET file (external hard drive) and it will restore your personal files and settings. Reinstall the applications needed.

  • the inventory of VMware service does not start, the wrong function, bad sql server port

I've migrated vcenter SQL database to a new server after this KB

    https://KB.VMware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US & cmd = displayKC & externalId = 7960893

but now most of the vcenter services does not start cause of according to the inventory service.  I see service log of inventory which is the problem, it tries to connect to SQL Server by default, 1433 port, but my SQL server instance is listening on a different fixed port, I don't want to change.  Where can I configure the inventory service we another port of SQL Server?  According to a KB related to the above, it is possible to do

    https://KB.VMware.com/selfservice/search.do?cmd=displayKC & docType = kc & docTypeID = DT_KB_1_1 & externalId = 2033516

but unfortunately I have vcenter 6 and the instructions above do not seem to apply, I can't even find ssocli, the mentioned folder structure does not exist on my installation

    Thank you.

I solved this.  Despite what has been reported in the newspaper the issue was not the port.  The new database is a named instance, the connection string for vcdb.properties, he entered as the server name = hostname\instancename in fact, it is necessary to use two slashes return hostname\\instancename :-/
