vNext communicated to Azure web app

We use versioning for visual studio 2013 to deploy web applications and want to migrate to Windows Azure. We have created an Azure web application and added our subscription Azur in release management. Unfortunately, it now seems to have hit a brick wall. Everything we do wants to have a virtual machine or physical to deploy, machine is it possible to deploy from the release management to a WebApp Azure without this virtual machine?

This issue is beyond the scope of this site (for consumers) and to be sure, you get the best (and fastest) reply, we have to ask either on Technet (for IT Pro) or MSDN (for developers)

  • Web App API and front pages

    Greetings to the community.

Will be added to the ability to interact with the front-end web app API pages?

To be fair, I will be able to use the API to create features for visitors to my site, not only managers of it?

    And when, if so?

    Thanks in advance.

P.S. Please ask if my question is not clear, I will try to clarify.

    Hello

For now API is not available for use at the front end, but we are really interested to learn more on how you plan to use those we have in terms of something that you could use.

  • Submitted clients Web App with profiles of customers with categories

How would everyone on the creation of a Web site where customers could submit web app where the customers have a public profile that shows all of their memories, web app?

My first thought would be to create web applications 2: a customer introduced web app points and the second for customers to create their own profile. The trick would be limiting only the profile web app for communication by the customer and list all their bids to point web app in their profile. For the client the web profile app it's because (as I'm sure most of you know) that the CRM information is not visible publicly.

It seems that the only way to do it is to create a category for every single customer and then assign the category to each individual web app submitted by the client. It seems that there is a lot of work of the Chief Executive and perhaps some confusion.

Is there a way to capture client web app profile ID and possibly use the item form in a hidden field on the present client web app to enable them to classify it themselves? I think the best way would be for them to do, but without being able to classify their submission under another customer accidentally.

Is there a best way anyone has found to do this?

Actually, on second look this Kiyuco.com tutorial only covers that allow members to change their elements of web application in a secure area, not not to view them as part of a public profile.  You should find what you are after in this forum thread I posted - Nicole de BCGurus described a good solution.

  • HTML5 custom homescreen icon + Mobile Web App

I've been HTML5 game development learning and have a question about Firefox for Android: how to get a custom icon for a bookmark added to the home screen? It seems that Firefox uses either a favicon, or a default star.

On iOS Safari, I was able to achieve using < link rel = "apple-touch-icon" href = "image.png" / >, and the feature seems to be reported on Google Chrome. "

I tried to use this code for a favicon customized to a specific page: < link rel = "shortcut icon" type = "image/x-icon" href = "favicon.ico" / >, but it works only when I view the file directly on the computer. " When you access the page through Apache, there is no favicon.

My other question is about the functionality of the Mobile Web application. In Safari and Google Chrome for Android, iOS, adding "apple-mobile-web-app-compatible" or "mobile-web-app-compatible" allows executed as a web application Web page full screen when recording to the home screen. Firefox opens just like a normal bookmark.

Any help is appreciated. I'm learning from the "Development of HTML5 game for Dummies" book

Since no one has answered my question, I did some more research. If I insert this code:

    "< link rel ="icon"href="/path/to/some.png "/ >

The bookmark has the specified icon. However, the result is disappointing, because the Firefox bookmark icon appears very low quality and blurry next to the Chrome bookmark icon.

  • I get a 403-Forbidden: access denied message when trying to access my email in Microsoft Outlook Web App

I use Firefox version with an OS Ubuntu LTS 14.04 33.0. I get a 403-Forbidden: access denied message when trying to access my mail from Microsoft Outlook Web Access (OWA). When I use another computer running version 33.1.1 Firefox with a Windows 7 operating system, I can access my email in Microsoft Outlook Web App perfectly. Anyone have any suggestions on how to get my Firefox browser on the Ubuntu machine to be able to access my email on OWA?

This problem may be caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that are blocked.

Clear the cache and delete cookies only from Web sites that cause problems.

    "Clear the Cache":

    • Edit > Preferences > advanced > network > content caching Web: 'clear now '.

    'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

    • Edit > Preferences > privacy > "Use the custom settings for history" > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe

You can try the following steps in case of problems with web pages:

You can reload webpages and ignore the cache to refresh potentially stale or corrupt.

    • Hold down the SHIFT key and click the Reload button
    • Press 'Ctrl + F5' or 'Ctrl + Shift + R' (Windows, Linux)
    • Press 'Command + shift + R' (Mac)

  • in a single file of worm 8xx download does not work with Outlook Web App

If I download the file from Outlook Web App (for example name.doc) in version 8 and 8.0.1 in save the firefox file say you have chosen to open attachment.ashx which i an ashx file to https://...

In previous versions everything was ok.

Outlook Web Access sends a Content-disposition header that is illegal to Firefox. This is no longer allowed in Firefox 8. Firefox 9 will have a work around for this so that Microsoft has set their software.

  • Outlook Web App views?

In the Office Outlook client the default view is seen compound which shows the currently selected e-mail, appointments of the current week file and the tasks of the current week. Outlook web app does not seem to have a similar opinion, limiting its usefulness for me. Is it possible to get a similar view in Outlook web app to the desktop application?

    Dale soulou

Thanks to some of the names ridiculous and brand image, there are several web applications that use the name "Outlook", but all are fundamentally different.

    • The Outlook Web Access (OWA) for Exchange Server, you can see if your company is running an Exchange Server, that has web interfaces have been updated in Exchange 2007, 2010 and then again in 2013.
    • If you use Office 365, you still have another style of Outlook Web App hosted by Microsoft.
    • And of course, there are the Outlook.com customer service which is really just a new Hotmail style.

I assume you mean to either of the first two.  The customization options differ depending on the version of the web application and the browser used to access (previous versions only provided a rich experience in some versions of Internet Explorer).

But overall, no. The rich client program is longer functional due to development time and resources that have been put in the build, so much as a rich customer value proposition.

  • Build an html5 app, I only .html, .js, images, css file folder files / files. How to build a web app/html5 app in that if I did not file config.xml?

Build an html5 app, I only .html, .js, images, css file folder files / files. How to build a web app/html5 app in that if I did not file config.xml?

I downloaded the game codes and try to build games using these codes, but I had only

    data folder

    image folder

    js file with .js files

    file .html

    main.js file

In this case, how build/package web app /html5 app if no config .xml given?

You will need create your own file config.xml. There are samples and documentation on each of the items on our microsite here:
    https://developer.BlackBerry.com/HTML5/documentation/gold/working_with_config_xml_file_1866970_11.ht...

Note that all the elements in the samples are not necessary. For each piece, make sure that you actually need in the config.xml file. For example, most web game conversions will not need elements (using the old SDK) since they make use of BlackBerry-specific APIs.

  • Check out native BB Web App and Javascript

    Hey everybody,

I'm working on Blackberry to develop a web application and I had to transfer some of the tasks to a native hook.

Now expand the native javascript hook to use seems fine, the biggest problem Im having is that I can't connect to a some paper (i.e. within the web application can I print to a kind of diary? From my native code I cant seem to System.out.print to the console as Eclipse sees the project as a web app and seems just to set the console to another point of view.

Can anyone give me any suggestions or correct me on how to get some kind of output?

    See you soon,.

    Matt

I created a JavaScript Extension (native code) that writes to the BlackBerry event log.  I also use it as a feature in my Widget application and override console.log (and do invoke the native Logger).

The good thing about the event log, is that it is too on the device.  In the current state of debugging by using the available tools, this feature helped me tremendously.

Use the Source.  Or better, use phonegap and get you it for free.

The showeventlog application is the best way to view the log of events on the device/Simulator.

  • How sign web apps blackberry if you have already done this?

On the same computer machine, I had signed with signing authority and got keys etc. I remember RIM sending me 2 folders with 1 file of csi in each.

Now since I work with web applications, what should I do to get these installed keys and sign my BB web apps. I'm confused between the options "install new keys, import existing keys, get a signature keys.

    Hello

To clarify, you have already purchased and received your RIM key code, signature and use it for Java development?

If yes then you need to also make available be used by WebWorks Plug-ins as well. Help on this subject are available in the Eclipse and Visual Studio Plug-ins (search for "key signature").

For example, in Eclipse, open the Windows Menu and click on Preferences.  There should be links to the key management of signature under the direction of BlackBerry Web/Widget.  If you have already installed keys on your computer, you click on the link "import existing keys":

For more information about code signing, see this article:

    Jeric,

I am very surprised to read this thread. I really appreciate your effort to do this task.

I said, listen to me, don't forget to add a statement static so that this works, but I'm not saying you port coz I'm still looking for it.

I had a good conversation with our cisco consultant Ken. I show him the config and it's what Ken told me to do.

    We lack this static entry.

public static tcp (indoor, outdoor) interface www inside_mail_server www netmask 255.255.255.255 0 0

also add to this list of access

ACL_OUT list access permit tcp any host 203.125.100.246 eq www

Pls let me know the result. Hope that the system will work.

PLS, do not forget to 'Clearly Xlate' and save it.

    See you soon.
