  Hello, I need to know a few things about MS Lync 2013 before deciding to implement in our Organization. I'm looking for the solution of IP telephony. I currently have a Panasonic PBX. I can implement LYNC 2013 to replace the PBX. If so, how can I connect external telephone lines? How to receive calls on the company's phone numbers?   You can try the network drive mapping & check if it helps.

  Create a shortcut to (map) a network drive

• Replacement for SPA9000 & SPA400 combo?

  the SPA8800 did the same thing that made the SPA9000 & SPA400 combo, outside voice mail, what do I know, it don't?

  I see the series UC300 is suggested as a replacement for the SPA9000 & SPA400 combo, but it's overkill & expensive for my needs.

  I just need to configure several IP such as the SPA504 phones and must have analog capabilities to make outgoing / incoming calls by using 2 existing BT lines.  I need not voicemail.

  I looked at the specs of the SPA8800 and it seems to meet our needs, but I want to know if it works as a stand-alone system?

  I don't think it's the best way.

  SPA8800 has been desinged to be a gateway not a KeySystem or a PBX.

  UC320W would be the perfect match for your needs, you will have equipment that can operate as KeySystem, PBX or both at the same time.

  Hello.  Is it possible for a registered point SCV endpoint to join a Lync hosted a meeting with several video participants?  I used the Lync deployment guide to integrate my Lync and VCS networks successfully, but I can't get this function runs.  I was wondering if it is still supported.  Thank you.

  I can't say anything on the Polycom systems, but its two parts, what video and audio codecs that are used.

  In these multipoint or live meeting call, seems like RTAudio and RTVideo.

  These are supported for example with the Advanced Media Gateway also.

  But in addition to point-to-point calls (which work well with the VCS itself, especially with the VCS X 7 B2BUA)

  I can't say if there is any provider in addition to Microsoft supporting the multi-party internally of Lync.

  I think that its using some SIP owner XML extension.

  In any case, you might have a Cisco / Codian MCU connected to the VCS and host a multi-party meeting

  with Cisco, Lync and 3 participants out there. It would also provide a continuous presence

  and not only light up like Lync.

  To answer your question, no not on the Conference hosted Lync, but you can use a microcontroller of Cisco.

  Looking for a replacement and do not know whether to go for high spec 27 "iMac or Mac Pro.  Welder instead of videographer professional seriousness.  All I get will be faster than the current Mac Pro despite many improvements over the years.

  As an amateur, I think you should seriously consider any movement until the 2009 model or later. Same factor form except the processor and RAM are on a shelf at the bottom of the Cabinet.

  They are faster because of some of the architecture changes, accept more RAM and still have the PCIe slots that allow you to add upgrades.

It is the American price, you must convert it to your location.

  You can use the open dialog box file to install it.

  Unfortunately, your machine is able to readers ATA (IDE) with the form factor of 2.5 "(inch)."

  What you need is a HARD drive with an IDE connector. Regarding the maximum size of the drive you want to install: the machine must be able to handle more than 100 GB since you have a PM 845 chipset installed.

  If you want to buy a new HARD drive, then remember the following things:

  1. you need a car with an IDE connector
  2 card should be 2.5 "
  3 limiting the size should be something more than 100 GB

  I can't really offer you some brands, but toshiba drives are really good. :)
