Void screw connecting renamed main VI

Hello

I added a prefix for the names of all the screws and controls in my project.

After renaming when I try to open the main VI, he couldn't find the sub screws so I'm browsing screw manually.

I have over 200 screws. so, is there a way to sectarian handle this?

• How to enable remote workers to use connection internet main office

Hi all

I just set up our new 1802 as our internet firewall and a VPN server easy and everthing works fine. The only problem is that connected VPN Clients cannot access the internet. It is a policy of companys that all traffic from remote users must be encrypted and send them to the central part, so split tunneling isn't? t an option.

I added the addresses IP of SDM_Pool of remote to the NAT ACL and reasons workers that the ACL is used by some packages that generates my "IBM Sametime", and this traffic can be seen in the ip nat translation. But the destination in this packet is a local ip (172.16.17.x) network so that in the case of EIB a package that is not coordinated.

My question is, what happens to packets encrypted once they are decrypted in the esayVPN Server (what are the dest a source ip) and how to configure my router NAT packets to the IFs - external IP, because it isn? t incoming traffic on the inside, that is configured as ip nat inside.

Thanks for your suggestions.

• Void screws and writing custom

Conceptual question: a program that uses a loop like the one above (left) turned into a sub VI and is used in another program similar to the mode on the right, where his 2 outputs are written to a file (i.e. the loop on the left is inside of the under vi on the right). If the program is implemented similar to the image above and called Sub vi, write it a data point for each iteration of the loop, or it will only store the last data point (because the loop is located in the sub vi and runs until the end until the data is always written)?

I hope this was clear enough...

It comes out only the last point, because it is the last data written on indicators before the end of the Subvi.

Note, there is also some discussion of message who recommend indicators in subVIs should be put on the outside level of the Sub - VI block diagram.

Hello

I'm having a problem, try to set the frequency and voltage in the auxiliary output simultaneously. I wrote two codes, one to determine the frequency and another to set the voltage of the auxiliary output and used them as void / screws in my main program that, at the moment, contains only these two elements. When I run the program the first time, the two frequencies and voltages are defined, but during subsequent runs that one has the value whilw the other keeps the old value and I have to run the program again to set this parameter. What is the problem? can u please help me. I'm just a week in the labview programming, but I have to implement hysterysis C - V in time very short, which these controls are a part. Please find attached programs.

The next problem is your termination characters. Your string constants indicate a \r\n, but the problem is that they are in normal mode and so please send 4 bytes of a backslash backslash, r, n. You must edit these constants to be in mode '\mode' of the backslash so that when you enter \r\n, it is in fact two bytes, consisting of a carriage return (ASCII 13) and line feed (ASCII 10)

• Sub connection screws and Image

Hello

I try to connect these two under screws in my main vi, but when it is connected the main vi does not work - only the first sub vi work but the second under vi and the main loop does not work. I really appreciate it if someone can take a look at my connections.

Please see the attached files: If the alignment (main vi), untitled111 (Subvi) and Grab and Basic... second chapter vi).

Regardless, I have it resolved and placed the sub screws by hand in loop :-)

• copy main typedef not found

Hi all

I posted this question in the LabVIEW forum, but I guess that maybe the teststand discussion forum should be better, so I'm now posting here.

I have a problem with my typedefine (Teststand UI Data.ctl) in the UI (derived from the interface chart single of Teststand). In the implementation, I was always able to add reminders in response to Teststand events in the past.

Recently when I try to add a new reminder of a Teststand events, I get error saying that the master copy Typedef is not found or error. What I find odd are:

1. If the Typedef master copy was not found or error comes, why would the error affect the reminders already implemented for other events Teststand?

2. If the Typedef master copy was not found or error comes, why is it possible to run the program?

Here I have 2 screenshots. The first screenshot shows the reminder of existing, where there is no error of the master copy of Typedef not found or error. The second screenshot shows the error when a new reminder is added to another event.

The main copy of Typedef, call TestStand UI Data.ctl is also shown in 1 screen capture, and it is located in the TestExec.llb, as shown in the third screenshot.

I'm not sure how to start debugging this problem, that is why I hope that experts from teststand out there can give me some advice.

I am using 32-bit LabVIEW 2014 and 2014 Teststand 32 bits. Running on the Windows 7 system.

Thank you.

Yours sincerely

The simplest solution to this problem is to open the broken VI. Right click on the broken control and replace with the control of the typedef.

The reason why he broke up is because you changed the typedef and VI was not in memory to be updated. The EndEdit event callback is looking for a TestStandUI Data.ctl. However, this file no longer exists (and so your error) according to the other screws, you renamed it to TestESystemUI Dependencies.lvlib:TestStandUI Data.ctl. Be sure to have your files loaded into memory before rename/modify a location of VI. Way the easiest is to have all the related screws project that endedit was not

• DV7-4280us - Bay of disk HARD 2nd vacuum has no visible connection to a 2nd HARD drive.

My laptop Pavilion DV7 and previous DV8 had two bays for HARD drives, one of them wired to a hard drive, but not containing is not a hard disk at the time of purchase. I expect the same thing when I ordered this Pavilion DV7-4280us, which is, I think, made in China, but I have not the same. This one came without visible connectors for the hard drive, I had already bought to install into the empty Bay. My Technical Support call made me advice to buy a disc kit hard (with caddy & connections) from HP, as if the receive connectors were available in the drive Bay HARD vacuum. I didn't not agree because (and the next two paragraphs I added so that the well-intentioned forum members continue to give me the standard answer for laptops which actually have the usual connectors & waiting in the drive Bay HARD 2nd vacuum. I appreciate the two forum members who have offered help so far, but there is no need to waste more based on my failure to clarify the problem):

There is NO METAL NAKED INTO THE BAY VOID that COULD CONNECT a HARD disk.
UNLESS A NEW CONNECTOR GOES TO THE MOTHERBOARD HARD DRIVE, IT IS USELESS FOR THIS COMPUTER.

Each HARD drive connector I've seen only connects the HARD drive to a connector in the HARD drive Bay.

The connector of the latter reaches the motherboard, and that the connector does not exist in this 2nd computer HARD disc Bay.

Even if I could get a cable to connect a HARD drive to an unused connection & waiting on the M-Board, I can't M-Board. M-Board is inside a barrier which could be called the bottom of the laptop - external surface of the portable computer. (Battery and bays for HARD drives are outside the confines of the current computer, the value in their own hollow spaces in the bottom panel, with secondary coverage on the hollow spaces, i.e. the bays for HARD drives and storage media). I looked for a way really open the casing and expose the M-Council connection for 2nd HARD drive (IF it exists); but I didn't know how to do it. It is clear to me that this is not intended to be a facility run by the user. But I would if HP (or maybe even a 3rd party who made it) provided some good instructions.

I'd like to think that HP did not make this change to the line DV7 laptops to double HARD drive, and that the Chinese manufacturer made the change without approval or even knowledge of the management of HP. I want to believe that because he was, at best, a really stupid thing for HP to the customers who pay for the best HP can provide.

So my questions are the following:

1. The motherboard in this computer still has the ability to manage a 2nd hard drive?
2. If 'NO', then HP would be willing to take over this very disappointing computer in Exchange to a DV7 which is equipped with HARD drive connectors available in the 2nd, empty, Bay?
3. If 'YES', then
4. HP or someone else would be willing to provide connectors, and instructions for me,
5. OR install the missing connection to the drive for me, Bay
6. While, in both cases 4 or 5, I can install a HARD drive in the Bay, empty 2nd drive reasonably, I expected when I ordered this computer?

All my apologies and thanks to KaLin0908, who responded so quickly and helped me realize that my original description was not clear enough. I hope that my changes to clarify the problem have not ruined the tone of my call. I'm aiming for "clear and grateful." If this revision reads as Loud or Yelling or abrasive or anything else bad, I'd appreciate any suggestions to improve it.

I have the same computer.

At first seems like you say but

If you look carefully the second Bay of hd, you will see 4 small holes

Those who are for the hard drive caddy, you can buy that and it's expensive

You should also buy a hd cable, but be careful, there must be about 5 inches long

The cable for 1 hard disk does not work

One end goes on the hard drive and the other going to the MB. The connection is planned

for the memory modules

The kit costs about $ 45. If bought at hp and about 35 if purchased by another company

This will give you an idea of where/how the screws connect to the caddy

Relevant documentation for JDBC 9i drivers here is http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B10501_01/java.920/a96654/connpoca.htm#1056354.

In the world of JDBC 9i driver, there was a distinction between a connection pool (consolidated connection) and a cache of connections.

A connection pool is trying to eliminate overhead consumption and resources of connection / disconnection from the database. If the connection is going to be only reused so no reason to close the connection, just open it again.

What a performance gain were you looking for? Only, you would see a performance gain if your application was constantly opening and closing of connections, demanding that all resources for Setup and take down communications database. When the connection is established there is no difference in the performance of the execution of SQL.

You can see with

import java.sql.Connection;
import java.sql.ResultSet;
import java.sql.SQLException;

import oracle.jdbc.pool.OracleConnectionPoolDataSource;
import oracle.jdbc.pool.OracleDataSource;
import oracle.jdbc.pool.OraclePooledConnection;

public class TestConnectionCache {

public static void exec(Connection conn) throws SQLException {
ResultSet rs = conn.prepareStatement("select sys_context('USERENV','SESSIONID') from dual").executeQuery();
rs.next();
System.out.println("Session id: " + rs.getInt(1));
conn.close();
}

public static void main(String[] args) throws SQLException {

OracleDataSource ods = new OracleConnectionPoolDataSource();
ods.setUser("...");
ods.setPassword("...");

// Construct the jdbc url.
String host     = "...";
String port     = "...";
String instance = "...";

String url =
"jdbc:oracle:thin:@//" + host + ":" + port + "/" + instance
;
ods.setURL(url);

// No connection re-use.
exec(ods.getConnection());
exec(ods.getConnection());

// Connection re-use. (Connection pooling)
OraclePooledConnection opc = (OraclePooledConnection)((OracleConnectionPoolDataSource)ods).getPooledConnection();
exec(opc.getConnection());
exec(opc.getConnection());
}
}

Product output similar to:

Session id: 4110149
Session id: 4110150
Session id: 4110151
Session id: 4110151

Note: when the pooliing connection is used, the session of database id is the same. Call close() has not closed the physical connection.

A cache of connections is a layer on top of pooled connections that manages the creation and destruction of the connections. There usually limits this link how much should be open and the maximum number of connections to allow. Then the cache is queried for a connection, it can return the one that is not in use or perhaps create a new.

Later versions of the JDBC driver will greatly simplify managing your connections and here is the note of documentation:

Note:
The previous cache architecture, based on OracleConnectionCache and OracleConnectionCacheImpl, is discouraged. Oracle recommends that you take advantage of the new architecture, which is more powerful and offers better performance.

Any reason you're not not using a newer driver?

Then I realized that I should start with my main computer that has all the data I want to transfer to the new. However, Firefox won't let me set up the sync account in my main computer because it says I already have an account. He gave me a code to connect the main computer to the new, and I did. Now I'm afraid to sync for fear that this will eliminate the info in my main computer rather than transfer them to the new. Is this true, and if so, how can I do it again and get Firefox to establish the sync account in my main computer?

Do not know what is it and how to use it

• HP ENVY 360: FlexNet Connect continuous error state

I recently bought a laptop HP ENVY 360 and apparently, there's an application installed (via HP) called FlexNet who supposedly examines your system for updates and maintains the current system. The system is constantly accumulate errors throughout the day like this...

FLEXNET CONNECT CLIENT... Generic communication error... HTTP error was returned by the server... said response code Error (500)

I'll go up to 10 or more of these error windows accumulate on my screen at any time.

I followed suggestions to install a Manager software and using the procedure of removal of companies without success.

Does anyone else have this problem - suggestions?

Thank you, Scott

Welcome to the HP Forum! Is a great place to find answers and advice! You have the best experience on the HP forum, I would like to draw your attention to the Guide of the HP Forums. FlexNet Connect is mainly for virtual (VPN) connections. If you do not use this option, you may simply need to uninstall. Here are a few links that should be instructive. :

• Airport Express. Connect to a router home without another device from the airport.

Looking to buy an AirPort Express station. Plan to connect it to my home router to boost connecting devices and to create the network or guests. This work if I just plug my Express in the router with a cable Ethernet or you will take another product I.e. time capsule to work? The router can also activate "Modem Mode"

What model is the modem?

Comments wireless is disabled in all apple routers when they are used in bridge mode... This will mess up your idea to connect to main router... the express (or any wireless router) should then be in bridge.

If you can fill the main modem... It is pure modem and run the express as a wireless router, then it can produce a network of comments as well... However, Express is slow and far from adequate as a main network router... unless you talk real slow ADSL etc.

• project: Articles > structure of screw

Hello

I have converted a project from 2009 to 2014. Now I have new and capacity screw located in the same structure, where is the Main.vi. I can't find an info how to change that. I have all the screws in the Main.vi in the folder of dependencies. Is this possible?

Thank you

Do not use the automatic settlement of the records. I've never used, and the reviews of most of the experts I have read on the forums say that they cause problems.

If the VI is called by another VI, just remove the item from the project. It will then be displayed under dependencies because it is called somewhere in the hierarchy of VI.

• Passing parameters to dynamically loaded screws

Hello

I have a data acquisition application that uses an analog input, PCI-Hardware.
With this material I enjoy different channels and display them in audio
In operation 'Preview' I enjoy 4 channels and display them in 4 audios.
I have therefore a quarter of the maximum sampling for each channel.
Operation 'zoom' I only enjoy a channel (at the material max sampling rate)
and display the data in the selected channel (the other channels are igored in zoom mode)

My idea is to launch the different screws according to the mode (overview, zooom).
I could imagine, that a good approach to perfom this task calls different screws
of the main program.

Unfortunately, I do not understand how to pass parameters to the VI if I call them
using knots "reference open VI", "call for reference" and "close reference VI.
I tried to understand the Labview "Example of dynamic load", but it's too complicated for me.
Can someone give me a simple example to dynamically load the screws or y at - it white papers
or nugets on this topic?
