Volume fluctuations

I had this pavilion 15 for 1 week, it came directly from HP. I plugged into my audio Bose speakers and when I play music the volume varies from top down. The internal speakers have also the same problem. I tried all the fixes, admin and because of the number of other messages from people who suffer from this problem, it seems to be a software problem. Realtek audio program is RTKVHD64.sys 6.0.1.7195.

What exact download do I solve this problem?

Thank you

Just solved the problem with another thread by forum on this site dealing with the same problem.

Of the other thread...

(1) open Device Manager

(2) amine down to "audio, video and game controllers".

(3) right click on the audio device listed and click 'properties '.

4) click on the 'Driver' tab

(5) select "Update Driver... »

(6) in the window that opens, click "Browse my computer for driver software".

(7) in the window that opens, click on "Let Me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer.

(8) to the list of available drivers, select "High definition Audio Device" (the generic Microsoft Windows driver)

This completely removes the pilot OEM AND Beats Audio "improvements."

I now take clear, sharp, clean, high-fidelity music. I listen to it using iTunes (free) which features a build-in, it works fine now with Windows Media Player also checked.

Good luck!!!

    Hello

I bought the laptop Satellite P500-01R in Aou09. Portable volume on speakers keep in fluctuating (sound quality is good, but volume goes up and down constantly). I tried music on hard drive, CD/DVD and online with the same results. I use Windows Vists 64-bit. When I listen to the same sound on the headphones, it's perfect. All the world is facing this problem and found the solution? Toshiba technical support has no ready solution for this.

    Hello

The P500 seems to be a new series on the market I didn't find even the drivers on the Toshiba page for this series
Maybe you need an audio driver update or maybe that it s just a matter of adjustments as suggested by Akuma
If you have a Realtek audio chip, then you could try a driver Realtek page directly.

But playing with the sound settings that you might find in Control Panel.

    FLUCTUATION/AUTO AUDIO VOLUME UPGRADE QUESTION

    #BeatsAudio #StillNotFixed #HowManyYearsWillItTake

    HP Envy m6 15z-j100 G3R12UA #ABA Windows 8.1 bought 17 SEPT 14

This does not happen with internal Laptop speakers, any external device, which is several hundred dollars external speakers, HDMI to TV etc.

Had a similar HP with windows mobile 8 and Beats Audio for about a year or two. Had the same problem, and after a few months, I found a solution online. Had to disable Beats Audio, which I didn't do what he has seriously degraded audio quality.

Laptop was destroyed so I bought a new one, just before leaving the House.  Now I have 15 days to return the laptop to Best Buy or I'm stuck with it, and I won't be home for three weeks.

The laptop has Realtek Audio, IDT not some.

All the fixes I found this time do not appear to work as drivers are all up to date, I installed the latest Windows updates, lowering of the quality of the sound on "CD" does not solve the problem, there is no 'improvement' in the tab 'Advanced' to turn off and there is no IDT software that I can detect.

It might be severely underestimate the case to say that I am frustrated to have to waste its time in the lower register to 24 hours after the purchase of a laptop for a known problem that has existed for at least 18 months.

If it was the good reception now I wouldn't write what I wouldn't have laptop HP Envy to write it, it would be in the hands of the good people at best buy.

I'm ready to disable or uninstall the audio beats and degrade the sound once again if it will also disable the upgrade issue.

I don't want to, but I will if that's what it takes to get my brand new Hewlett Packard® Envy laptop work properly.

    I'm with you!

  • Audio volume fluctuates...

    Hey all,.

In my video, I have two mp3 files: one is a music file, and which seems to work very well. The other is a voice on file I made in Audacity and imported into first.

I then cut and synchronize parts with video clips, then set the volume loud to match the level of the music and added the Denoiser to out the hum of the mic, I used for Audacity.

Now, my problem is that voice over clips seem to fluctuate in volume when I play back and export. It is not always in the same places, but when it happens, it's usually at the beginning of the clip. I don't know what it is cause, or if the effects I have added something to do with it (I doubt it), but I was wondering if there is a way to solve this problem?

    Thank you.

It is the effect. You might be able to make the audio (in the sequence menu), but this does not always work. Best bet is simply not not to use this particular effect in Premiere Pro. If all you have for audio is Audacity, you can make a decent noise he filtering which will far exceed the capabilities of Premiere Pro.

  • During music playback Volume fluctuates use WMP, Pandora, Real Player.

I tried to fix a problem with playback of music. Volume constantly changes. As if someone or something turns the volume up and down.

I tried everything to change or improve power off, power off automatic volume adjustment under the communications tab and just about everything what I found on Windows/Microsoft community and blog sites.

Nothing helps! I now have Windows 8 and my Windows XP computer has never done this! For some reason, every operating system that Windows has released since XP for it. Vista, Windows 7, and now Windows 8...  Obviously, their must be a problem or a bug within these operating systems that causes this.

If anyone out there has actually noticed and solved this problem, your knowledge would be worth a lot to me because I listen to music all the time with my computer and I have more 16 000 pieces of music! These aren't the downloads, they are real CD in my library...

Please, I beg you! Any info would be good, other than what I already tried...

    Thank you

I finally ended up doing that back the driver for the sound card and that solved the problem!

Must have been some update that was included with a Windows update that I didn't know...

  • The microphone volume

Are there known issues with the microphone volume fluctuating on the device? My duties sometimes report a wide range of amplitudes for ambient noise even if the actual noise levels did not change significantly. I'm pretty confident my algorithms are correct and bug free.

    Is this a known issue?

    Scott

I think that the microphone has AGC (automatic gain control).  A few months ago, I took video with the playbook of a violent storm with heavy rains and record, you could hear the rain, but when loud Thunder came, you could hear it very well (no cutting), but we couldn't hear the rain.  Like the sound of Thunder disappeared, the "rain" volume came back upward.  It's so good that I think that it's hardware and not software MCO.

  • 5102na HP OMEN: how to disable the audio correction Bang & Olufsen horrible?

Is there someone who could tell me please how to disable the audio correction Bang & Olufsen? I'm sure that some people like it but I work with audio and I can't really how it changes the sound. I tried to open the Bang & Olufsen sign but I cannot unselect the correction in the section "listening experience", nor that I can change the associated equalization. Please someone help, thanks!

    I found a solution: http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-PC-Sound-and-Audio/Beats-Audio-compression-and-volume-fluctuation-HP-ENVY-m6/m-p/5137867/highlight/true#M67144

    1. Go to the Windows Device Manager > sound, video and game controllers section.
    2. In the list of the audio device drivers, look for Realtek High Definition Audio. This is the device driver for BeatsAudio (a bit sneaky, wouldn't you say?).
    3. Right-click and select disable. Down arrow on this driver, indicating it is disabled. (NOTE: at this point, you will not be able to play music files.)
    4. Right click and select Update driver software.
    5. Select Browse my computer for driver software.
    6. Select Let me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer.
    7. You should see a window that says Select the driver to install for this hardware device. NOTE: If you see a window that says something like This is the best driver for this device, close the window and repeat steps 4, 5 and 6.
    8. In the scheme box, select Audio device high definition (this is the device driver audio substitute) and click Next.
    9. In the Update driver warning window, click Yes. You should see a confirmation with the high definition Audio Device display window. Click on Close.
    10. In the list of drivers of audio device in the section audio, video and game controllers, you will notice that the high definition Audio device now displays instead ofHigh Definition Audio Realtek.
    11. When prompted to restart, click Yes.
    12. Now enjoy your music with no compression!

    Thanks to SteveCT99

This does not disable audio-Bang & Olufsen, but I just installed this EQ across the system instead: http://sourceforge.net/projects/equalizerapo/

HP needs to release a driver which allow us access to the "Improvements" tab so we can turn off "Loudness equalization" (although "Loudness equalization" should not be on by default in the first place).

    The current driver is default.

  • Undo Tablespace queries

    Hi all

I am little confused with reading on the undo tablespace. So I need some clarification

    1. There are 2 undo tablespace in our application. Could someone explain to me how the 2 undo tablespace? I've not found details about it.
    2. both the undo tablespace is used at 100%. Where the the new transaction will go? New operation will force the blocks used to be exceeded if necessary?
    3. what should be the ideal size of the tablespace undo compared to the total storage size?
    4. is the log archive associated with space undotable? If Yes, then when archiving logs getting generated?

    Thank you

    1. in a database of CARS, each Instance must have it's own Undo Tablespace.
In a database not RAC (single instance), only one Undo Tablespace can be active at any time. The Undo Tablespace would be idle but can be switched by an ALTER SYSTEM SET UNDO_TABLESPACE command.

    2. even if an Undo Tablespace is 'used 100% ' Oracle can expire (and even drop) on old extents and segments that are no longer needed by the value of Undo_Retention. Thus, data undo for older transactions that are committed (more than Undo_Retention period has elapsed since the validation) will be overwritten.

    3. There is no "ideal size. Undo sizing is based on transaction volumes, fluctuations in the volume of transactions, query patterns etc.

    4. No, there is no direct relationship between the two. However, any cancellation that is generated is also written again - that is to say redo Undo catches as it captures changes made to Tables, indexes etc..

I suggest you read the Oracle documentation concepts to

  • Fluctuation of Volume for Media Player

I came at the end of my intelligence with volume of Media Player fluctuating from top down during playback.  It is a long-standing problem plaguing my systems since the days XP and persists through Vista and now seven.  I have built at least 5 personal pieces I remember the problem arise, which have completely different hardware configurations and speaker configurations.  ECS, Asus, Abit cards mothers, processors AMD and Intel, Harman-Kardon, Boston Acoustics and Altec-Lansing speakers, stereo systems, 5.1 and 7.1...

When playing music or video from a file, the wah-wahs of volume up and down throughout the song and ONLY using WMP.  iTunes, Winamp and online streaming are all perfect.  Equalization of the volume does not help, in fact I can't even switch to silent mode does not help.  I have installed ANY additional codecs, I got in trouble with those in the past, so I stay away from 3rd party codec packs.  Please help me, it's a royal pain to keep the selection of alternative music players at the opening of the mp3 or video files, and I prefer Media Player for alternatives.

    Thank you!

    Hi Lottoman,

    Method 1

    To disable improvements audio speaker

    (a) Sound open by clicking theStart button, and then clickPanel. In the search box, type sound, and then clicksound.

    (b) on the playback tab, click speakers, and then click Properties.

    (c) click the enhancements tab, and then select the checkbox disable all improvements .

If you do not see the tab improvements in the speakers Properties dialog box, these features are not available for your speakers, and this procedure is not applicable to your computer.

    Method 2

If the previous step fails then try the step below and check out them.

    (a) go to the sound icon in the system tray, bar right click, clicksound

    (b) click the Communications tab. On this one, you will see:

Windows can automatically adjust the volume of the different sounds when you use your PC to place or receive calls.

When Windows detects the activity of communication:

    1. cut all the other sounds o reduce the volume of other sounds of 80%

2 reduce the volume of other sounds by 50%

    3. do nothing

    (c) select 'do nothing', so try and check if it works.

    I hope this helps!

  • Problems with fluctuating volume of Windows Media Player

After that I transferred MP3/WAV files to my old laptop which has Vista... for my new laptop which has Windows 7, my windows media player then started acting crazy during playback of music files.  The volume goes up and down, and during parties strong songs, it goes almost silent... with a few songs, it becomes just as hard very quickly and then just cut all together.  I tried tools audio fix from microsoft, and they were unable to help him.  Basically, it sounds like when you listen to music, and you would simply continue to cupping your ears again and again, as you can imagine is really annoying while you try to listen to music

Try the following steps, presented by another poster, JoeyNice:

6 steps that have helped me with this problem:

(After looking at a few ideas from there I went and did my own investigation and arrested next steps the boring windows media player playback sound fluctuations)

(1.) start the media player and go into menu improvements in media player andreset all default media player improvements and disable all improvements and equalizer, etc...

(2.) do right click the speaker volume icon (located in the lower right corner of windows in the area of programs/notification bar) then andclick 'sounds' in the right click menu (or if "speaker" icon is not in the notification bar go to control panel and click on 'sounds')

(3.) in the sounds of communications click menu tab and select 'status quo '.

4.) , while on the sounds tab menu click play, and then click speakers allowing you to then click on properties

5.) in the sounds-> speakers menu properties go to improvements and select 'Disable all sound effects'

6.) while in the sounds-> speakers menu properties go to the Advanced tab and "restore default settings" , then click on apply and then OK and then apply and ok again and the sound menu

These steps allowed me to be able to go to windows media player and listen to music with no fluctations (and you can now be able to turn on the equalizer again if you want to make adjustments, but if this causes the fluctuation back just turn Equalizer back off.) I could turn it back on after you follow the steps above with no fluctuation)

Let us know if this suggestion helps with your problem of fluctuating volume.

    Sincerely,

    Marilyn

  • (8.1 to Windows 64-bit) of J112tx HP ENVY beats audio volume varies automatically

    Hey,.

I recently bought the HP ENVY J112TX and there is a problem with the audio beats in that volume continues to change (decrease and increase) when playing a song.  I downloaded the latest IDT drivers from the HP support Web site, which fixed the problem temporarily. But after an update of the system the problem came back again. I tried unistalling and re - install audio codec IDT of the Device Manager, but has not fixed the problem. I really need a solution to this problem so please HELP!

  • HP envy 15 t-j000 Beats audio fluctuation and jump

So, I recently bought this powerhouse of a machine and I love it.

I have a problem, however, and it's a really annoying for me because I really enjoy listening to music m and use my cell phone as an audio source for my high end audio components.

I have a 15 t touchsmart - j000 want I bought end of July and received in mid-August with the option audio beats.

Since I first turned the computer the sound would ignore or fluctuate.
I have observed the fluctuation when plugged into my stereo via the 3.5 mm headphone jack. It would sound like the volume would be lsightly fluctuate or may be missing some of the low-frequency end.

The most noticeable problem is the jump. He will make a jump noise that sounds as if the computer is bogged down with the material, even when all that is done is reading. This looks like the frequency in the lines.
It happens at random times in various circumstances. It occurs when playback of a music file but also listen to via spotify or pandora music or watching a video on youtube. The jump occurs under all these circumstances both the output to another source (headphones or speakers) as well as play through the built-in speakers.

Is it possible that I'm mising one driver? The sound card is messed up? Is this just a problem with the computer? is there a fix that does not require to refer me to hp?

I really need all the help I can get it starting to irritate me a lot and I don't want my warranty elapse before that I'm close to the question of fixing.

It seems to have solved the problem

That's how I went about the solution, if you can do it another way with the same end turn then the result for you!

1 - go to the drivers for the HP support site and leave the site determine your pc model number.

2 download the latest BIOS and IDT audio driver. Note where these files are saved.

    3. install the new BIOS and wat for the restart to finish.

    4. Remove IDT audio driver in Device Manager.

    5. install the new driver IDT and restart.

Since then I have not had any jump or fluctuation.

However, I had two cases where it makes the sound of crackling. But that's twice in four days, and I heard something that I don't need to hear three full days.

  • LifeChat LX-3000 low Volume at startup, requires a reboot

I bought the LifeChat LX-3000 2 weeks, and it worked fine until 2 days ago. Initially, the volume started fluctuating. I restarted the computer, that fixed it. Then the helmet itself set to a very low volume of base, so when the volume control on the PC is in full I can barely hear. To resolve this problem, I had to uninstall the software and the headset to the Device Manager, restart the computer and reinstall. This again once solved the problem. However, the volume is now very low again. I don't want to have to keep restarting just to use the earpiece. Any ideas?

Well, everything seems to work fine now. I think that's not as when I start the computer with the headphones plugged, but thanks for the help, she will keep noted if he plays again up.

    Hello

Unfortunately there is no firmware update for the capacitive on your particular model - instead, try the following.

First of all, download and reinstall the utility to control the tone of HP on the following link.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp45501-46000/sp45617.exe

When you are finished, stop the laptop, unplug the AC adapter and then remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f5 to load the default values (sometimes it's f9, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

This makes a difference in the question?
